In his address to the nation tonight Barack Obama mentioned that he called President Bush today but he does not thank him or give him credit for the successful Bush Surge… The successful surge that Obama vehemently opposed.
Sad.

He obviously didn’t take Sarah Palin’s good advice.

  1. Yeah, he called and left a message: “Hi. I won. Get used to it. Ha ha.”

  2. Right! And Pres. Obama’s Treasury Department doesn’t give any credit to the military for bankrupting Al Qaeda–they claim it all for themselves:

    http://moneyjihad.wordpress.com/2010/02/22/who-really-bankrupted-al-qaeda-u-s-treasury-or-u-s-military/

  3. Yep, Bush engineered a 99 yard drive in the final 2 minutes. Obama gets to dive over the top for the TD and after the game, Obama takes credit for the win.

It’s like the guy that put the knocker on the front door getting an award for building the house.

And THIS is why Republicans are going to vote with a vengeance in November. This BS pisses us off.

  4. P.S., Do you want to know why the Tea Party Movement drives the Left crazy? It’s because we are beating them at their own game.

They always had activism all to themselves while Republicans stayed quietly at home raising their families. Now Republicans are the activists and it drives them to distraction.

  5. As soon as we pull out of Iraq and everything goes straight to hell you can believe Obama will be giving Bush PLENTY of credit.

  6. The one time he could have honestly used the “Bush’s Fault” argument Barry blew it.

    The surge. Bush’s fault
The success, yep Bush’s fault too

  7. Obama: “I called President George W. Bush today…and told him not to expect any public expression of gratitude ‘cuz the Democrats and I have to bash him some more this fall…and maybe some more next year…and the year after that…and…”

  8. Bush spent 700 billion dollars to “free” the Iraq people from a ruthless dictator.

Obama spent over 800 billion dollars to “enslave” the American people with socialistic government healthcare.

  9. Yep, Bush engineered a 99 yard drive in the final 2 minutes. Obama gets to dive over the top for the TD and after the game, Obama takes credit for the win.

    ———————————————

And it seemed to me that he was making a concerted effort not to be seen as gloating.

This regime often ignores public sentiment, but don’t think they aren’t aware of it.

    We are in 0′s head.

  10. Chippy—- You kind of put the hammer right on the nail. One sets people free and the other tries to enslave a whole country.

  11. taking a call from Obama is like taking a call from your worst enemy.

  12. A complete Partisan Loser.

Like a School in Summertime, Obama is a typical Democrat, he has no class.

    He called Bush?

What the hell does that mean?

To tell the real Leader, whose policies liberated MILLIONS of the oppressed around the WORLD, I am going to take credit for your success in Iraq?

    What a complete joke.

Instead of celebrating one of the most incredible victories of the FREE Democracies in the World, in the heart of the Middle East.

WE have a jerk Partisan who wants to deny the reality.

Obama was wrong. Has been revealed to be a hypocritical liar, waging war with a similar SURGE in Afghanistan, following numerous – successful aspects provided by the Bush Administration created to win the GWOT.

And he simply has NO honesty, guts, decency, to admit the obvious. A tiresome egotist, who is the PERFECT symbol of the Democratic Party, just like Hillary, Nancy, Harry, Al, etc.

Obama will go down in History, as another Democratic Partisan disaster.

    Thanks DNC !

  13. “As soon as we pull out of Iraq and everything goes straight to hell you can believe Obama will be giving Bush PLENTY of credit.”

    Well said Bill Mitchell

    It is utterly disgusting.

  14. I’m surging for words to decribe Obama but can’t find any.
    - EMPTY MAN IN AN EMPTY SUITE -

  15. I called Obama today…I told him that he is an undignified little weenie-boy that isn’t qualified to hold George Bush’s soiled jockstrap.

Being dickless, of course, he doesn’t know which way the straps go vs. the pouch. Where is Eldridge Cleaver when you need him?

  16. Many of those who opposed this war are NOT patriots, if they also then support the Democrat agenda of socialization of America.

Anyone who supports a progressive-left agenda cannot possibly be a patriot. They may be a patriot for their deluded vision of what they think America should be, but they are not a true patriot for the historical vision of what America has been, its founding principles, or its culture.

  17. Why did he call Bush then?

  18. Hey im all for giving bush credit for the surge but also let’s place the blame ofr the need for the surge wher eit belongs. bush bungled the war from the outset. not enough troops, no plan to form a government or nation build, no clear cut idea on what victory meant. unable to ask for more troops until the last possible moment because of politcal considerations, losing the house and senate by dissing the base and not attacking the dems, making the dems responsible for the budgets instead of the GOP.

bush was not a great war fighter he managed to pull out a victory of sorts which he deserves credit for but he also screwed things up pretty good in Iraq before the surge…

  19. Not only did Obama not give Bush any credit, he used this occasion to once again bash Bush.

“Unfortunately, over the last decade, we have not done what is necessary to shore up the foundation of our own prosperity. We have spent over a trillion dollars at war, often financed by borrowing from overseas.”

This is the most immature and self-centered person I have ever know of. And his agenda and constant pronouncements against business and American exceptionalism are becoming more than tiresome.

  20. unseen #20

Go fly a kite. We had the Democrat party and the news media whining and crying about the war so much that we should develop a national waaambulance for them. They’ll need it again after November.

That had plenty to do with showing the Iraqi insurgents that they might have a chance.

The Democrat-media complex can’t stand that Bush had the fortitude to buck them and persevere in Iraq.

  21. robert,

Bush fought the war as a liberal more concerned with how it played on TV at home than the facts on the ground. Bush allowed the dems whinning to influence his decisions.

Let’s just say I wounldn’t have wanted Bush to be C-i-C during WW2

  22. It’s so obvious. He called Bush, just to be able to say he called Bush in his speech. It was the most weaselly way possible to include Bush in any terms, without having to give him credit.

    What a disgrace.

  23. I guess so, Infinite.

  24. Honestly, the surge was a battle for improving a War, not winning it. Our military did everything asked of them and more and frankly deserve better than be spread too thin for far too long without being adequately equipped. Thank God we are getting out, what a waste of our Youth and Treasury set on a bed of lies. According to “W” we already had a Mission Accomplished Ceremony, right?
