Unreal. Obama Hauls Arizona in Front of Sham UN Human Rights Council

Let’s face it… This guy hates America.
Our far left president just hauled the State of Arizona in front of the UN Human Rights Council. For the record, this sham council includes human rights offenders Cuba, China and Libya. The Obama administration told the United Nations Human Rights Council that America’s human rights record was less than perfect in a report this week.
Impeach Obama reported, via Free Republic:
Apparently Barack Obama is not content to make a federal case out of his immigration feud with Arizona; he just made it an international one.
The president’s first-ever report on U.S. human rights to the UN Human Rights Council contains a rich vein of offensive material. So far, one aspect has not been reported: our petty president used the situation to bash Arizona’s immigration law — and possibly transfer jurisdiction over the law from Arizona to the UN. Throughout the report, which sounds like an Obama campaign speech, the president discusses “the original flaw” of the U.S. Constitution, America’s tolerance for slavery, and his version of our long and despicable history of discriminating against and oppressing minorities, women, homosexuals, and the handicapped. After each complaint, he addresses how he is delivering us from ourselves, patting himself on the back for such initiatives as ending “torture,” promoting Affirmative Action, and passing health care legislation.
In his section on “Values and Immigration,” he praised the Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to provide better medical care for detainees and increase “Alternatives To Detention” (e.g., letting them go). Then he turned to the one state that has had the temerity to stand in his way of fundamentally transforming the American electorate:
A recent Arizona law, S.B. 1070, has generated significant attention and debate at home and around the world. The issue is being addressed in a court action that argues that the federal government has the authority to set and enforce immigration law. That action is ongoing; parts of the law are currently enjoined.
On Obama’s command, Attorney General Eric Holder has sued the State of Arizona for passing a law that he criticized without reading, and which merely upholds federal law. (He gave sanctuary cities a pass.) He now threatens an additional lawsuit against Sheriff Joe Arpaio for “racial profiling” when arresting illegal immigrants near the Mexican border.
Don’t expect any push back from Cuba or Libya on this crazy report.

Okay, I’m gonna need a lot more backup on that, and would ask the same of others, simply because I have assiduously avoided the ‘I’ word up to now, and will maintain that, surely until I see more details of this story, and what it exactly means.
Because if there is any substance to this at all, it is impossible for it not to be an utterly egregious violation of his constitutional oath, one that staggers the imagination. The people of a US state make laws, and the US President turns them over to unelected foreign authorities for judgement on same?
So let us remain calm to begin. Because I think we all agree that if there is any real truth to this, a whirlwind beyond imagining lurks just over the horizon.

Surely there’s a receptive audience in that nuthouse, where Quadafi is head of human rights commissions and Tehran defending women’s rights… just the kind of upside down universe where things he says actually make sense.

If this report is indeed true, that is to say that Arizona’s sovereignty is being remanded to the U.N. Human Rights Commission, then this is in fact an act of war against the citizens of Arizona.
I must say that I find this hard to believe. Obama may hate his own country-he certainly shows his contempt on a daily basis- but he couldn’t be that stupid. But if true, I would call on those who gave their oath to the Constitution to fulfill that oath and protect our Constitution against enemies domestic.

At the same time, I foolishly believed the American people would never be subjected to a foreign usurper, while everyone who is supposed to not let anything like this happen,(Congress, Supreme Court, lower courts, Military,) sits there, and lets him get away with this. I posted a link to the pdf of the entire “report” The Won submitted to the UN a couple of days ago. The thing is appalling – starting with the fact that NO president has EVER submitted a report the the UN Human Rights Council and previous presidents have all refused to have any dealings with them in light of the ludicrous makeup of the “council”.
And one other thing: this “report” was compiled with help from various “community groups” – every one of which was as far left as you can get. There is a list on the State Department website.

The big word here is “possibly” — until he actually does something of the sort, then there isn’t much that can be done (other than vote him and his cronies out). The UN is a joke at best, so he can blather on all he wants — it’s action that will count. If action from the UN takes place, then there will be hell to pay I would most certainly hope.

Thanks for the backup, but I do need to see more on this before I react further. The “turning it over to the UN” phraseology may be just some gibberish rhetoric glommed onto by Free Republic, so I’d like to see a few other sources look into this.
But the fact that this appalling administration even dabbles with a toe in such waters leaves me almost at a loss for further words.
