Karl Rove told Laura Ingraham tonight on The O’Reilly Factor that the Obama Administration was taking sides on the Ground Zero Mosque before they took sides. The Obama Administration is funding the Ground Zero mosque imam’s trip to the Mideast this week.
Over 77% of mainstream Americans oppose the victory mosque at Ground Zero.

The Imam’s true intent has always been known to those in government, but only recently to the public. The Imam’s damning statements were printed in 2004 in the Sydney Herald. Today we have audio from 2005. George Bush had to know, he signed the guy up right after 911 to give our FBI sensitivity training. Then he gave him our tax dollars for at least one trip in 2007 or before which is beyond sickening. Karl Rove was such a loose cannon he was forced out of the Bush admin. He is so smart that he lost us 3 branches of government and will do his best to get Obama elected again.

As the Ground Zero Mosque debate veers from the issue of sensitivity to the issue of whether Feisal Abdul Rauf is a “moderate”, we are told we must believe he is because Obama and the State Department say he is and are using him to build bridges with the Moslem world.
This is where things become interesting, the argument is not working with 70% of Americans, and no-one is stopping to ask why not. It seems to me that the reason is that Obama and the State Department as his representative have lost their credibility on the issue. Can we imagine a similar rejection by the country if similar assurances were given by the Bush White House and State department?
This likely stems from the fact that 48% of likely voters believe Obama is a radical. A large percentage believe Obama has veered US policy towards the Moslem world and its assorted despots due to his Muslim “roots”. And of course, Obama does not gather much gravitas on the subject from his embrace of radical Muslims and Islamic nationalists such as Rashid Khalili, or his refusal to have the State Department brand the Taliban as the terrorist organization they undoubtedly are. And of course, who after all as friends with Weather Underground bombers and murderers/attempted murderers (Ayers and Dohrn, as well as radical black liberation theologians such as the Reverend Wright).
The unfortunate truth for Obama is that, as Jeremiah Wright said, “the chickens have come home to roost” and now Obama has very little credibility with Independents, and even less with Republicans as he asks that his judgment on these matters be trusted.
