Of course, this surprises no one…
Juan Williams attacks those 71% of Missouri voters who supported Prop C.
“You get 70% inside of an echo chamber of older, white people not in St. Louis or Kansas City that say we don’t like a requirement that everybody has to have health care.”
You’ve just gotta love how the left attacks seniors and whitey without batting an eye… But, that’s not racist.
FYI- Only 13% of Missouri citizens are over 65 years old.

That’s the reason the Cultural Marxists want to attack and annihilate them — they see them as the cause of all things wrong with the world. This is no accident but the goal of identity politics.
We need to expose and stop these Cultural Marxists before our whole nation (which you rightly argue THOSE OLD WHITE PEOPLE built) goes down the tube and the light of the West if extinguished.

Remember when our elected officials REPRESENTED the American people? They wrote bills and passed laws with the backing of the American people? Remember when VOTING had a definitive outcome because it was the voice of the people? It never needed a court to decide if it was the democratic way to determine how this nation decided to govern itself.
Now, according to Juan, he looked over all the cast ballots and has decided that only old white people voted. He has asserted that no youths, blacks, Asians, Hispanics, or any other ethnicity voted. How in the hell did he determine this? This is so ridiculous on its face, it’s embarassing. THE PEOPLE OF MISSOURI DO NOT WANT OBAMACARE, JUAN. I really don’t see any more clear way of telling him this.
DINORight commented:
I hate to state the obvious, but – here is yet another example of the double standard: change the statement to “old black people” and the person would be off the air. Period. Unless, of course, the person was black him/herself. Then it would just be “I apologize if I offended anyone” blah, blah, blah – the usual non-apology.
He should be gone. Period. But he won’t be asked to even apologize, because even though he is making a blatant racist and ageist statement, he will get a pass. Unlike Liz Cheney, had she said the exact same words.
Even if everyone wrote in about how “offended” they are/were, there would be no action.
Now, about the comment Juan made: how does he know who voted by demographic? (Of course he doesn’t, but just consider the possibility that he does.) Is this now something that is tracked in elections? I thought that elections in the US are anonymous (name, age, race, gender, etc.) in our country. Is that still true? If so, how do these politicos track the “woman’s vote,” the “black vote,” the “old vote” etc.? Do they take the logs of who voted and use their race and demographic data to analyze? I know many statistics are based on exit polls; however, these numbers are often reported without knowing how they are derived.
Maybe that is a new issue to raise regarding elections. If the demographic divisions cannot be tracked, it would help minimize this type of identity politics.
I know, I know. Fat chance of getting that to happen. But this breaking down of the vote fuels the identity politics that the Democrats and liberal left have used – and mastered – via ACORN, SEIU, etc. If it were stopped, maybe WE THE PEOPLE would be considered, not our demographic breakdown.
Just thinking………
IL Patriot commented:
Imagine, if you will, Liz Cheyny (or any other white commentator) stipulating that old black people voted for “fill in the blank”. You’d never see that person on TV again. Race? Since when should sound economics be in any way shape or form about race? This is nothing less than liberal chaos at work before our very eyes. It makes as much sense as suggesting that airplane design or the design of a television could be racially motivated.
When Nobel prize winning poet Tony Morrrison can call Bill Clinton black, then what is “black”? When the NAACP calls a black conservative, “not black enough”, and “not a brother” then what is “black”? When Time magazine’s Jack White calls Supreme Court Justice Thomas, “the scariest of all the hobgoblins”, saying “Washington seems to be filled with white men who make black people uneasy”, than what is “black”? And when Obama, a man whose mother is Caucasian, can tell us in a widely read autobiography that in his youth he struggled with his racial identity before *deciding* to be black, what is “black”?
“Black” in all these contexts, as well as Juan Williams’s complaint about the extraordinarily lopsided expression of Missouri voter sentiment, is clearly not about “race”. It is about ideology, a clearly socialist ideology.
And so as these expressions of “black” pile up in the mind of the public, more and more will wake up to this truth: socialists will pull any heart string and descend to any dirty trick to advance their agenda. If we think they have reached bottom with Juan William’s complaint, you haven’t seen anything yet. And that is exactly why these people must be disempowered, defunded and shown to be the frauds they are.

=========
You’re right on the money — health INSURANCE is not the same as health CARE.
That’s exactly what PropC was about. Asserting your right to acquire the good/service known as health CARE via any means you so choose — by paying for health INSURANCE which would then cover any of your health CARE that may arise, or by NOT paying for health INSURANCE and instead paying in cash out of your pocket to cover your health CARE expenses for those occasions when you are sick.
Health INSURANCE is what you buy in case you might get sick, and it pays for the health CARE you receive at a doctor/hospital. They’re not equivalent, but the Democrats use them interchangably to blur them.
The Dems will demonize you for opposing health CARE, when you’re opposing a health INSURANCE mandate.
If you’re uninsured, you can still pay cash at the doctor/hospital to receive health CARE — except Obamacare takes that CHOICE away from you. Don’t be fooled by Democrat messaging, America.

down with dems commented:
and PS: the only reason the Dems want to mandate you buy health INSURANCE is because they want all you healthy people in the pool, because you will PAY MORE for health INSURANCE than you will USE in health CARE. Thus, you’re losing money, paying an inflated price for the health CARE you receive, in order to finance the health CARE of others. If you just paid for the health CARE you used, you’d pay less–but that option is taken away from you by Obamacare.
Not only does Obamacare force certain people to buy something they don’t want (health INSURANCE), it also forces them to pay MORE for what they will ultimately get (health CARE).
Can you say “redistribution of wealth”???
Why don’t all the Democrats voluntarily pay more for their health care and health insurance, in order to finance the health care of others? Make it an opt-in kind of thing. If paying for others is such a great thing and good people would be all for it, then let them show how “good” they are by volunteering to pay more for the same thing instead of being forced to do so.
Won’t happen… it’s do as I say, not as I do for the Dems. Remember Hillary just the other day advocating Americans donate for flood relief in Pakistan — then she donated a whopping $10.
Lead by example and put your money where your mouths are, you self-righteous Democrats.

House Bill 1498 requires the prompt payment of health insurance claims made by providers, as a response to the massive amount of unpaid claims Missouri hospitals reported in 2009. The bill will also implement a penalty of 1 percent of the total claim amount per day the claim remains unpaid past the 45-day window. In addition, the law will define a clean claim, which a provider must provide to an insurer for reimbursement, and remove the suspension provision currently in state statue that allows health insurers to delay payment by suspending a claim.

That tradition of Law has been a great gift to all races, transformational in the hands of Hindus like Gandhi and American-born Negroes like Martin Luther King. That tradition built this nation, and continues to mature in its inclusion for all people to thrive.
The latest melodramas coming out of the American-born Negro Leadership makes me realize they are sadly stuck. It is White People who have actually absorbed the lesson and ideal of “an oasis of freedom and justice” from MLK. We prove it over and over again, with our votes and our Champions (God played by Morgan Freeman, our model President David Palmer played by Dennis Haysbert — who we wanted, too bad we elected his character’s weenie brother Wayne).
I pray Blacks will step away from the grievance-groveling and realize they have won, even as WE HAVE ALL WON. We are blessed together. All colors have shown courage and helped made this wealthy, worthy Contract called the US. Now let’s roll up our sleeves and build an American Century.
