Jeremiah Wright: People Who Believe Obama Is a Muslim Are Psychopaths

Reverend Jeremiah Wright told a congregation today that those people who believe Obama is a Muslim are psychopaths. He should know. After all, Barack Obama studied for 20 years in the his G*d-D*m church.

The Hill reported:
People who wrongly believe President Obama is Muslim are “psychopaths”, according to a sermon from Rev. Jeremiah Wright on Sunday in Little Rock, Ark.
The president’s controversial former pastor told the congregation at New Millenium Church that Obama is being ostracized for opposing the “military mindset”. During his sermon Wright also criticized supporters of the war in Iraq and defended former state Court of Appeals Judge Wendell Griffen for speaking out against it.
“Go after the military mindset … and the enemy will come after you with everything,” Wright told the packed church, according to the AP.
“He will surround you with psychopaths who will criticize you and ostracize you and put you beyond the pale of hope and say ‘you ain’t really a Baptist’ and say ‘the president ain’t really a Christian, he’s a Muslim. There ain’t no American Christian with a name like Barack Hussein,’” he added.
A recent poll shows 18 percent of the public thinks President Obama is Muslim.

Jereliar Wright is right here. Obama has attended Wright’s Black Separatist Christian church for 20 years. No evidence has come out ever to suggest that Obama is currently a Muslim.

Let’s pretend for a moment that Wright meant to say “sycophant” and that what he said then would have made sense. Can you imagine how, if a conservative speaker had made a similar mistake while giving a speech, how the message would have been drowned out by all of the noise being made about how stupid the speaker is? Imagine Palin saying “psychopath” when she meant to say “sycophant.” What would the news reports be about? Her statement and how right it was? Or that she screwed up and used the wrong word during a speech? How all words larger than one syllable are too large for her to know and use properly? How stupid she is? Gorgo, that is pretty easy to confirm. Wright got his degree in Islamic Studies. Type Jeremiah Wright into Google, then search within results for “islam” and you’ll find hundreds of citations. Here are a couple -

As for “re-writing” the Bible. Well… look at the actual history behind the Bible. What we know today as “canon” was established as such by early church leaders. Mortal men, who are so easily corrupted by power and greed, decided on what the true word of god is some 300+ years after Jesus (I forgot when exactly the council was, I’d have to look it up.)
