It begins…
A new film, I Want Your Money, is due out this fall. The movie lampoons Obama and the democrat’s socialist economic agenda.

From the video:

I Want Your Money trailer…Set against the backdrop of today’s headline – 67% of Americans don’t approve of Obama’s economic policies, the film takes a provocative look at our deeply depressed economy using the words and actions of Presidents Reagan and Obama and shows the marked contrast between Reaganomics and Obamanomics. The film contrasts two views of the role that the federal government should play in our daily lives using the words and actions of Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. Two versions of the American dream now stand in sharp contrast. One views the money you earned as yours and best allocated by you; the other believes that the elite in Washington know how to best allocate your wealth. One champions the traditional American dream, which has played out millions of times through generations of Americans, of improving one’s lot in life and even daring to dream and build big. The other holds that there is no end to the “good” the government can do by taking and spending other peoples’ money in an ever-burgeoning list of programs. The documentary film I Want Your Money exposes the high cost in lost freedom and in lost opportunity to support a Leviathan-like bureaucratic state.

  1. I look forward to watching it.

  2. Thanks Jim — this is fantastic. When we begin to laugh at Obama we stop being frightened.

I love the line by Ronald Reagan I WOULD SAY THE GOVT SPENDS LIKE DRUNKEN SAILORS BUT THAT WOULD BE UNFAIR TO DRUNKEN SAILERS WHO SPEND THEIR OWN MONEY.

  3. Rated “double-triple-X” for all the votes on ballots that this film will inspire. Hope that the movie includes the complete CNN clip that shows our esteemed representatives casting their votes for Obamacare, with the “Jaws” theme song in the background. Nothing like an old-fashioned movie with real villians who are going to get their “fair and just” desserts. It’s time to stock up on popcorn and tomatoes!!!

  4. Wow! Should be great – if the movie “pravda” will allow it to be shown in theaters. We already know that the “pravda” media will pan it, that the commercials and trailers won’t be allowed any air time, and that the Michael Moore lovers will trot out the usual suspects to condemn it as “theeese are the saaaame ideaaas that got us in this messsss!!!! yada yada yada….”

Truth is truth. Hopefully some of those involved with this movie (and conservative commentators) will start countering the meme of “same ideas that got us into this mess” with the TRUTH that their ideas HAVE NEVER WORKED SINCE 1848! Marxism and socialism don’t work.

My fav quote is when Huckabee quotes Margaret Thatcher, “The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.” Reagan’s was more humorous, but both are right on target: they are spending OUR money!!!! They are SUPPOSED to work FOR US, not the other way around.

    Remember in November! :D

  5. Hope it comes out before November, and hope that independents and wavering Democrats take the time to watch it.

Those drunken sailors ARE spending their own money, but also when they run out of money they STOP spending.

  6. I hope it comes out prior to Obama’ Executive Order “legalizing” the “Fairness Doctrine”!

  7. Countdown 10,9, 8, before the dems file FEC and campaign finance complaints against this brave company.

  8. Finally, after 15 years, a film I am excited about seeing. I’m taking the whole fam, everyone.

  9. This film would be a wonderful October release just before the election. It could sway undecided voters to vote the right way, for conservative candidates.

  10. I wonder if Dan Rather will come out with papers showing that JUGEARS KENYATTA didn’t serve in the military at the same time.

  11. SUCKA FREE BY 2013!

  12. I prefer “drunken senator” .

  13. Excellent! At last a movie I will look forward to.

  14. Typically, I do not watch films in theaters – few today are worth even the few bucks they cost on DVD rentals. This one . . . oh, yeah; opening night if possible. I’d **LOVE** to see this outdraw something like ‘Avatar’ or some other PC extravaganza domestically.

  15. Wow, looks like one of the few movies out there worth watching since Ben Stein’s Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed a couple of years ago. Yep, I’ll be going to that one!

  16. OT-

More allegations of Washington corruption, apparently paralleling the Ambramoff scandal, but this time the dying dino-media is conspicuously silent…I wonder why?

“The financial scandal that dogged Rep. John Murtha until his death in February has reached a climatic point following the arrest Thursday of a former aide to the Pennsylvania Democrat. But as the case sparks comparisons to the infamous Jack Abramoff scandal, the story has yet to generate as much attention. Paul Magliocchetti, the owner of a now-closed lobbying firm that represented defense clients, was arrested Thursday on charges of making hundreds of thousands of dollars in illegal campaign contributions. The charges against Magliocchetti, brought in federal court in Alexandria, Va., included making false statements to the Federal Election Commission. But the coverage of Magliocchetti has drawn scant media coverage. By comparison, the Abramoff scandal, which involved Republican lawmakers, captured national attention…”

  17. Looks great, we need more of it…

Hoping it doesn’t equate the Parties, which is so tiresome and misguided.

Also, the inclusion of HUCKABEE is really quite amusing. That RINO taxed and spent more than Billy Clinton in ARK – which is a terrible record.

It is amazing, some keep presenting Huckabee as a Conservative, merely because of his religious Identity, yet his record as Governor is horrible – far from Conservative. Those insane pardons which have cost some fine Americans their lives, were simply awful as well.

But all in all, the film looks grand.

  18. Chisum, what excellent photos!!!
They should be spread all around the USA in October to guarantee the election result!

  19. The Democratic Party – soothing our conscience with your money since 1932.
