Hypocrite Obama Urges Americans to Vacation in the Gulf

Barack and Michelle Obama are spending 27 hours in Florida this weekend. While visiting the Sunshie State Obama urged Americans to vacation in the Gulf. Michelle and Barack, however, will be spending their vacation in Martha’s Vineyard.
He did take a dip in the water while he was there.

The BBC reported:
Barack Obama says the Gulf environment will be restored “no matter how long it takes”.
President Obama has urged Americans to “come on down and visit” Florida to help revive the economy stricken by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Mr Obama said oil was no longer flowing into the Gulf but “our job is not finished and we are not going anywhere until it is.”
The president is visiting Florida with his wife and elder daughter.

“Vacation in the gulf!” At the risk of pointing out the obvious, (Or maybe just repeating it) there was big deal made about Michelle O going to a beach in Spain. Why didn’t she take her sixty friends and got to a beach in Florida?

I still think the reason he is taking so many vacations is so his handlers can meet with him without the press knowing about it. If they came to the White House, we would have access to the visitor list. Evidently not when he is on vacation.

creating no incentives. when the government adds all the creature comforts to entitlement programs why work? not everyone will be lured into the sticky fly paper that is government but
when personal responsibility is treated as a disease. i’ve know people who wouldn’t accept work because they’d have to pay more for their rent, get less food stamps, etc. pay them off the books – sure – but God forbid they’d loose their state benefits.
