Hare-brained Rep. Phil Hare (D-IL) told constituents this past weekend at an event in Springfield, Illinois that questions about the US Constitution were,
“Silly stuff.”
Hare was also asked why the American socialists consider him a member in their ranks. He wouldn’t answer.

This was just one more example of the complete arrogance we see coming from our elitist radical representatives in Washington.

The last time we heard from Phil Hare he told us, “I don’t care about the Constitution.”

Of course, Phil Hare was a lockstep supporter of Pelosi’s radical agenda this past year.

  1. Democrat. Illinois. We hardly need to say more. Wonder how much he paid for his congressional seat?

As an aside, while I was trying to find a quote from The Won a bit ago regarding his return of the Churchill bust, I kept running across references to his “hero worship” of Lincoln. I wonder if he realizes that Abraham Lincoln was a REPUBLICAN and that Abraham Lincoln would approve of virtually nothing that The Won has “accomplished.”

  2. This pathogen is a daily reminder why the elections of 2010 is the first step towards our Nations survival.

  3. Porky Pig running for re-election to Congress in Illinois.

Uh, bdee, bdee, bdee … that’s all folks!

  4. What makes you sick to your stomach is the fact that to get this ever-tightening Socialist leash off all of us requires common sense voting by literally dozens of Congressional districts.

  5. Transalation:I’ve never read it, don’t know it, and don’t ask me questions that will make me look stupid. I need to pretend that since I was elected I can run the financial industry, oil industry, automobile industry, medical system, I want to rule the world!

  6. This guys from Illinois, thats great i,ll actually have the honer to vote this morons @$$ out….C’mon Illiniosians stand back and look at how our reps have made us a laughing stock of the nation…..WAKE UP AND VOTE THESE ILLITERATE ELITIST A-HOLES OUT!!!!

  7. “The Constitution… Silly Stuff 2010.” Great slogan for the upcoming elections.

I don’t know, but I think even George Washington himself might be tempted to deck that guy, if he was still alive.

If Washington and the rest would ever come back as zombies, I think now’s the time.

  8. And DUMP DURBIN……..

  9. What is disturbing is seeing all of the apparent sycophants who are soooo very eager to shake hands and smile at this individual. One of these clowns even appeared to try to block the camera view. Generalization is erroneous, but I really wonder about people from Illinois, who after all are mainly responsible for elevating Obama into a position from which he launched a successful presidential campaign.

  10. Does it look like the man with glasses at the 1:00 minute was spitting at the guy behind the camera?

  11. Off topic

Rush is talking about Juan Williams the leftist. Does anyone feel that maybe Juan is a closet muslim?

  12. Madison, Jefferson, Franklin, Washington, J. Adams, S. Adams, Hamilton, Paine…..such silly men really. Silly, silly men.

  13. Hare is a trainable idiot, a mindless follower, a dependable leftist vote, and little more. When confronted, weeks after his initial gaffe, he couldn’t even come up with a decent deflecting cover lie. Maybe he could attend Obama’s next seminar…….

  14. Search “Congressional Progressive Caucus” to find his name and American Conservative Union to find his 0% conservative rating on votes. If you want to help eliminate him, go to http://www.bobby2010.com and donate to a great conservative who is opposing him. He has 3 times as much money as Bobby and 5 TV viewing areas to advertise in which costs a fortune for an opponent. As for Illinois, Chicago has 11 congressional districts and the rest of the state has 10 combined. Chicago rules the state and it has been corrupt since Al Capone.

  15. An elected official is obligated to answer legitimate questions about his votes on behalf of the people of his district. A responsible man would.

An honest man would face his questioner, perhaps have some exchange to clarify the question, and then answer the question clearly. He would not avoid it.

A decent man would make a sincere effort to address the question, even recognizing the likelihood of a fundamental disagreement on the matter.

Remember Bush 44′s preface to one of his answers during a debate: ‘You may not like my answer, you might disagree, but at least you know where I stand’. That is the basis of an honest and decent man’s response, and it earned him a LOT of instant respect from prospective voters. That basis reflects American values, inner confidence, self-respect and maturity.

Congressman Phil Hare’s response shown in this video is not the response of a responsible, honest or decent man. It reveals quite the opposite. Those who support him are diminishing themselves.

    Best regards, Peter Warner.

  16. His district is full of “Vote Out Phil Hare” billboards, from one end to the other. He gets elected because his district was gerrymandered to give labor unions unchallenged control, but it’s possible that he might have finally honked off enough of the rank and file guys to get sent packing.
