Escalating Death Threats Force Conservative Group to Relocate

What a stunner…
When they’re not chucking Molotov cocktails into Congressional offices or shooting up GOP offices, the radical left is threatening to murder conservative organizers.
NewsMax reported, via Free Republic:
The grass-roots conservative FreedomWorks organization has received so many death threats in the run-up to the midterm elections that the organization is moving its headquarters.
“Yes, it’s constant, and we are going to have to move up to Capitol Hill,” FreedomWorks spokesman Adam Brandon tells Newsmax.
The threats are coming in via phone and e-mail, and have escalated to the point that the organization has decided it must move into a high-security building near the Capitol building.
Many of the threats are said to involve high-profile FreedomWorks Chairman and former Rep. Dick Armey, who has become a de facto spokesman for the tea party movement.
Sources tell Newsmax some threats are veiled, while others are explicit. Many are profanity-laced telephone calls, and some imply the use of weapons
“It’s not like we think there’s an imminent threat coming tomorrow,” Brandon tells Newsmax. “It’s that it just doesn’t stop, and we’re concerned that somebody someday is going to have a screw loose.”
FreedomWorks officials expect the intensity of the threats to increase as the November elections draw near. But the organization, which has played a central role in nurturing the various tea party organizations, is putting off its move until after the elections to avoid any disruption of its activities.
In addition to moving to a more secure building, Brandon says the organization also may hire additional security guards.
Of course, the fact that the violent left has resorted to death threats surprises no one.

Noting that death threats may be coming in sounds a great deal like the left always talking about the same thing. Put them up on your web site to show that they’re really happening or risk being confused with the typical politician acting as a “defacto” leader trying to get press coverage. Publish the police reports, the emails, the phone conversations. Or be smeared as liars.

Only the fact that the left and the big media lost the ability after September 11 to present domestic terrorism to the American public as some sort of noble or romantic cause has prevented the left from resuming their Vietnam-era William Ayers style attacks.
Even they — for now at least — recognize that what political support they had would crater if they went the final step and brought acts of violence into the political argument. But the further we get from 9/11 and the angrier they get at conservatives and the American public in general for not either dying off post-Obama election or meekly going along with everything they wanted to do, the more likely someone or some group is going to cross the line and openly start advocating violence against their political enemies.

not surprising as the wingnuts are becoming completely unscrewed. they act like a 2 year old when he/she doesn’t get thier way. Some intense psychological counseling is the order of the day for these wingnuts rite up to the whitehouse. I just hope they don’t get ahold of sharp objects and hurt themselves….

It makes sense if you consider that the whole political philosophy–if it can be called that– of the Left is founded on sowing the seeds of dissent. No citizen is an individual voter; rather, they are part of a grievance group, pitted against each other for resources. As a liberal, every day you wake up knowing you are surrounded by enemies. Leftism fosters envy and breeds alienation and is inimical to a cohesive society.

Why do we see no articles about the unhinged left? Okay, we all know that. The worst I ever saw at a tea party rally was nice grandma type handing out some chocolate chip cookies.

The geico gecko voice guy was doing this. He is all unhinged about gay issues. Watch the gays, Obama has done nothing for them and the window of opportunity will close with a Republican congress.
$10 says Obama becomes a crusader for gay rights after the GOP are seated in Congress.

I wonder Rahm Emanuel is making the calls after all he has a way of intimidating those he wants to manipulate.
Soon the WH will be in a crisis mode if this sort of thing gets out of hand and it probably will but then again this maybe just what they want to happen.

The disconnect between the elitists and ordinary Americans has never been clearer. Who can listen to Dems launch yet another tirade against the American people and our gluttenous way of life, our bigotry and our need to share our wealth? The people I know work hard and play by the rules but are getting shafted anyway.
The Republicans have been given a great gift –the American people’s trust that they will restore the America we know and love. May God bless them with a great victory and the wisdom to use it wisely.

People who are truly confident in their own positions just don’t pull this crap; it’s done by those who are scared as hell of what’s coming.

Amazingly, this blog seems to have forgotten the dozens and dozens of attacks upon Liberals and our Government officials by Right Wing Fanatics in the last year or so. In fact, every single Domestic terrorist attack sinse 09 has either been committed by a Republican or a Muslim, this is a fact.

Most likely the telephone calls are all made by Ed Schultz when he’s off the air, using various disposable phones and disguised voices. The rest of the calls come from Richard Trumka.
