Another leftist goon with the California Nurses Association assaulted and repeatedly punched a videographer at a California rally.

It would seem wise to have a second video operator filming the primary video operator from a short (but safe distance), as backup and to get a better angle when the assault happens (if it does), and if possible even a third, backing up the other two, perhaps clandestine.
And, we should press charges. That would send a message.

Regardless of the venue, Mr. Wagner’s suggestion of multiple cameras staged at distances is a good strategy. And where our Civil Rights (this includes the 2nd Amendment) are not limited, I completely agree with MC: the proper response to the obnoxious walrus thug throwing the punches would be a minimum of three 230 grain HPs right in the middle of his gut at a range of 18 inches.
With video evidence of the intimidation and injury, self-defense would be up to a jury and if the person involved were someone even more outmatched (senior citizen, handicapped), it’s unlikely it would go past a Grand Jury.

Ain’t that the truth (I’m in Rocky Mount). When I see these videos of union goons roughing up people in the crowd, my first thought is “that s**t ain’t gonna fly here in rural NC..” These boys ’round here would put an immediate smackdown on goons like them. Same with the New Black Panthers gooning it up at a voting station – it would take about 10 minutes for the word to go out and about 20 good ol’ boys would come down to handle that situation very quickly and efficiently.
