Journey into the Media’s Heart of Darkness
How ironic that on a day when we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, The Daily Caller released 15 pages of JournoListers’ email exchanges about a dark and demented conspiracy regarding my son, Trig.
It’s tough to fittingly describe these numerous members of the mainstream media who actively engaged in the debate about this conspiracy back when I was first introduced as John McCain’s running mate, and it’s impossible to legitimize any “prominent” media publication that continues to traffic in this bizarre narrative today. It wasn’t just a few fringe characters in that JournoList discussion. It included writers for major newspapers, magazines, and online news publications. Those participating in this immature exchange in attempts to plant seeds of doubt and falsely accuse even included a famous historian.
This JournoList exchange exposes the warped nature of today’s media, thus explaining why many of us are forced, in fairness to the public, to utilize other mediums to communicate until the mainstream media wakes up and begins respecting the public’s intelligence and desire for truth in reporting. There is a sickness and darkness in today’s liberal media. With revelations like the JournoList exchanges, may the light keep shining to expose the problem.
It’s always darkest before the dawn. My hope, therefore, is that today, marking the anniversary of our nation’s attempt to show respect for our brothers and sisters, sons and daughters with special needs, will also mark the beginning of a new, more respectful discourse among members of our media who at least aspire to be fair and objective.

As a Tea Partier I am ashamed to say I had given up. But then I remembered this verse. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”
We had gone so far away from our founding principles we needed to be jolted back to common sense. We needed to see and feel the realities of socialism/marxism, and now we have. We have seen it, heard it and we have felt it and we dislike it so much, that we have refound our founding fathers, our founding principles and values. The silent majority who allowed it to get this far over the decades have seen the folly of complacency, that is the one thing I thank Obama for. I was there on 9/12/09, I will be there on 9/11/10, I will be there on 8/28/10. Will you be there or will you remain complacent?

Sarah isn’t the first conservative to be Palinized, but she probably was inflicted by it worse than anyone else ever has. For her to stand up to it – for years now – is a real credit to her strength. She is still involved; still fighting for what’s right. Probably 99% of us would’ve quickly shied away from all the intense meia scrutiny, and the attacks. She is a tough woman.

You realize that’s even a bigger confirmation Couric’s never advanced further than a pea-brained cheerleader level of intellect because she didn’t even have the braincells to up with those stupid and insulting questions by herself. She needs a STAFF to help her READ NOTHING off a teleprompter every night.
Governor Palin’s mistake was she actually thought Couric was half-way smart. The startled frozen look on Palin’s face was the belated realization that Couric is stupid. Mean, but stupid.
Palin’s stock keeps rising month after month, proving she’s solid, while ratings-killer Couric is steadily sinking.

Absolutely. As far as I see it, the journOlists are as much responsible for this travesty visited upon this nation as are Soros, Pelousy, Reid, the rest of the socialists in Congress, and the non-socialist members of Congress for not ousting the usurper. Those who voted for The Won get their fair share, too, for voting for a man who they knew nothing about. But the journOlisters earned a larger share for not investigating and reporting the truth about him.

Palin was shocked because she expected to be asked serious questions on serious topics, as a candidate for VP would expect when interviewed. Instead, she was asked the type of questions an interviewer might ask a potential future First Lady for a light filler piece.

Always has been – grace under pressure, and the left-wing henchmen would have made a lesser person crumble after all they have done to her and her family for the past year and a half. Heck, Sen. John Kerry became unglued when questioned about his “Yacht-gate” scandal and his attempt to skirt paying half a million in Massachusetts taxes. Imagine if the statist politicians were attacked like the JournoListers did to Palin for just, say, a week… they’d be resigning and/or checking into mental hospitals for the abuse. Palin is a marvel. And the clueless JournoListers still can’t figure out what so many Americans find so compelling and refreshing about her. Hehe. Being a reasonable and fair-minded person, your brain is still not fully accepting that someone of Couric’s dimness can make so much money, so she’s GOT to be SMART SOMEHOW.

WHO in our entire national HISTORY has any interviewer asked EVEN a potential First LADY of she reads newpapers?
The JournoLibelists actually were brutally sly, smarter than Couric, no question. She couldn’t have come up with this on her own. The dropped jaw and stare can be spun by the weasels as “ignorant” rather than “stunned” or “aghast.”
The immediately subsequent “FURIOUS” look is edited out.
Couric has no idea how lucky she is. Palin is very disciplined, and was repecting the bone-head orders of the McCain weasels, I mean campaign advisors. Had Palin been more free to do her own thing, Couric would have discovered what a Mama Grizzly mauling was all about.

No. I have no problem accepting Couric’s being paid sh!tloads even though she’s as dumb as a box of rocks. She’s not the first nor the only moron recipient of a fat salary.
I should have said that was the type of question an interviewer from Ladies Home Journal might ask a potential future First Lady. They are asked about some trivial topics, such as fashion and home making, as opposed to the questions interviewers ask candidates.

Concerning Couric, if I remember well, it was the traitor in Sarah Palin’s campaign team, Nicole Wallace (or something like that) who begged Palin to give the interview to Couric, who supposedly was a good aquintance of Wallace and was struggling at the polls.
Wallace wanted to help Couric with ther ratings.
It was clear that Palin agreed to give that interview out of a sheer kindness and could ABSOLUTELY not be prepared to that kind of back-stabbing she received from both Couric and Wallace.
Palin bears no personal responsiblity for the less than perfect result of that interview. It was Wallace who allowed that interview to take place and John McCain in particular who stayed shemefully silent during the entire affair and never came to Sarah’s defence.
It looks to me that McCain has already decided that the campaign was lost and his silent acquiescence to that repulsive act of betrayal was his hidden attempt to harm Palin and make impossible for her to surge in the polls.
He showed the same cowardly attitude to the so called “clothing affair”.
There is no other explanation for that.

And as if that wasn’t bad enough, what aired on tv was heavily edited. I read the full transcript of the interview and I can tell you that what aired was edited to make Palin look like a fool. There’s no way that it was edited for duration alone or that it was just an unfortunate accident of editing that a decent interview on Palin’s part ended up making Couric look so good that she won an award for that year.
