The cut-and-runners want to take credit for success in Iraq.
Pathetic.
In 2007 both Barack Obama and Joe Biden continually spoke out against the Bush Surge of troops in Iraq.
From the video: Speaking at Camp Lejeune on February 27, 2009, Barack Obama talked about the success of our efforts in Iraq which he and the Democratic Party tried to undermine on a daily basis. It also shows what Biden and Obama said in 2007 to undermine US troops serving in Iraq.

The Politico reported, via HotAirPundit:
Vice President Joe Biden said after a three-day trip to Baghdad that the American people will see President Barack Obama’s Iraq policy as a success when the “combat mission” ends on schedule Aug. 31. Biden said the administration “will be able to point to it and say, ‘We told you what we’re going to do, and we did it.’”
“I think America wins,” Biden told POLITICO in an end-of-trip interview at the ambassador’s residence in the sprawling U.S. Embassy complex. “I sound corny, but I think America gets credit here in the region. And I think everybody gets credit, from George Bush to [President Obama].
“I think Americans will recognize that there aren’t body counts … that they got 95,000 people home. That will be noticeable that they’re home.”
The chief purpose of Biden’s visit was to prod Iraqi politicians to form a government and end a four-month stalemate that followed parliamentary elections.
In 2007 candidate Barack Obama supported genocide over staying in Iraq,
“The United States cannot use its military to solve humanitarian problems and that preventing a potential genocide in Iraq isn’t a good enough reason to keep U.S. forces there.”
But, today these filthy political hacks want to take credit for Iraq.

I will never forget the abject perfidy which the entire Democratic party perpetrated on our country and particularly our armed forces during the entire Iraq war, and especially during the dark moments before Bush went against the conventional wisdom and authorized the surge. It was absolutely inexcusable how these leftist backstabbers undermined our efforts in the war, particularly Obama, since he was clearly playing to the kook left during the run up to the 2008 elections. Now to claim some of the credit for our current success is sheer chutzpah. For this and a multitude of other reasons, Democrats have ZERO business in power. It’s a crying shame half the country continue to vote these rat bastards into power again and again. May they all be cast out in November.

And the Republicans are fools for not exposing these hacks for what they are. If they don’t challenge Biden’s (and Obama’s) disgraceful taking of credit, it will become the narrative that “Obama’s strategy” was what saved the day in Iraq.

Since liberal professors tend to write history it will never be recalled that the war in Iraq was essentially over when Obama took office. Bush left Obama with a defeated enemy and a new democratic ally.
All Obama had to do was oversee the logistics of drawing down our forces. He certainly didn’t do any of the heavy lifting or take any risks. Instead, all along, he and Biden derided the efforts of those who did. He does not deserve any of the credit. Kind of a low-life if he tries.

you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. the reality of today gets ignored for empty promises that the flim flam man says he can deliver. the dark side of human nature that allows man/woman to ignore what they once considered moral for the
comfort of what they once considered immoral..

There are a few Republicans who do expose these hacks for they are unfortunately Ivy-Inbred-idjets such as Krauthammer. Brooks, Goldberg etc tell these Republicans to ‘shut up’, ‘leave the room’ or ‘go home and do homework.’

I agree with Harry Reid, The War Is Lost! And, I take credit for it. Bite me you crappy Troops! Hum, I can’t see the teleprompter…
Let me start again. I was against the war before I was for the war in Iraq… I still can’t see the teleprompter… Now, I can.
Although I was against the Surge in Iraq – we got lucky and won the war. I take full credit for that.
I also take credit for bring the troops home early so I can divert their pay to my campaign fund. I need the troop’s money for my up-coming election.
My Limousine is running and I have more empty speeches to make. By the way, my name is Joe Biden! Bite me! And, don’t forget to vote for me in 2012.

This type of credit grab is right out of the Communist play book. Remember Russia under Stalin, always made claims they invented things like the telephone and jet propulsion. Taking credit for other peoples hard work has always been normal for these parasites.

When the troops leave Iraq, and if Iraq falls into Iranian influence and hands, which they are already to a certain degree, then will Biden and Obama take credit, considering it is all Obama’s ambition to pull the troops out in his timeframe?

I think it’s time we all realize just who the real enemy America is facing is. While Islamic extremists may be the people we are actually at war with, I think we face a much greater threat from within. I’m not talking about the radical right that Pelosi and the leftists love to target, nor am I referring to Obama, or Biden, or any one of the other leftist morons we have running this country, although they each pose a certain risk to America and the American way of life in their own way….
What I’m talking about (and it makes me really sad to say this) is the roughly 50% of the American public that supports the progressive liberal policies that are ruining this country. NONE of the idiots we have in government offices today could even be in office if it wasn’t for the growing number of people who support their misguided progressive liberal policies, and that makes THEM the enemy.
Throughout the past several decades, while this country has enjoyed great success and prosperity, we’ve allowed entire generations of our population to grow up with absolutely NO understanding of what it takes to preserve a system such as ours. Our populous has become fat, lazy, ignorant, and totally devoid of the patriotism or national pride that made this country great. We have a huge segment of our population not only unwilling to work or sacrifice to protect their way of life, but simply EXPECTING it to be handed to them on a silver platter.
They will vote for anyone who promises to maintain the flow of taxpayer money into their hands, and they have absolutely no concern for the future, or what it’s doing to those of us who work hard to pay our taxes. They instill these same beliefs into their children, and they into theirs, and little by little, we’re losing our country.
I’m sorry to say that it is WE who are to blame for allowing the morals and principles of this society to disintegrate, and now, we are reaping the seed we’ve sown. It is WE who must take the blame for what is happening to America and fix it. The question now is, exactly what can we DO to fix it?
In my opinion, the solution to this problem rests with each and every one of us. We need to quit tolerating the liberal policies that have gotten us where we are. Intolerance has become a dirty word in this society, but it is what MUST happen if we are to reverse the course we’re on and save America. It must begin at every level, from within our families, throughout our workplaces, schools, and our communities. There’s always room for some degree of compassion in our society, but we must put an end to the unsustainable policies of social welfare that have fostered the entitlement mentality that is so prevalent today. We must return to the days when a hard days work produced a fair wage, and sitting on your ass meant you went hungry.
For years, we’ve tolerated the family member who can’t seem to stay employed. We’ve agreed to disagree, and turned a blind eye when a neighbor supports a corrupt politician. We’ve accepted so many things that run contrary to our morals rather than speak up for what we know is right. It’s always seemed easier to ignore these individuals rather than confront them. Well now, in the absence of any resistance, the people who choose to take the easy way out have grown to outnumber us, and it is WE who must fight for OUR rights.
It’s time we declare war on the real enemy, and quit tolerating those among us who think they deserve a wonderful life without lifting a finger to achieve it. It is my firm belief that until we do that, we’re doomed ….

My congratulations goes out to the Obama administration. Had they applied their normal view of success to Iraq, I have no doubt that they would have snatched defeat from the bowels of victory. So far, they haven’t, and for that I am grateful.
I still have plenty of fingers left on which to count the positive accomplishments of the OA.

Sometimes you have to wonder.
Biden is sick, needs professional help, and perhaps the rest of the Democratic Partisans are in need of a serious intervention.
