Palin Lashes Out at Media for Recently Revealed & PROVEN Coordinated Attacks On Her During 2008 Election

The “Journolist” is a listserv comprised of several hundred top liberal journalists from influential American and British media outlets, as well as like-minded professors, union reps and activists. Leftist media hack and WaPo journalist Ezra Klein founded Journolist with far left crank Joe Klein from TIME magazine in February of 2007. Klein admitted that Journolist was an “insulated space where the lure of a smart, ongoing conversation would encourage journalists, policy experts and assorted other observers to share their insights with one another.” But, you had to be a leftist to join this group. It was an exclusive club. And, it grew to include 400 of the most prominent leftist American journalists who shared ideas and helped spin the far left narrative in the state-run media. This is where far left cranks colluded to spit out the DNC’s talking points and to defend President Barack Obama’s radical past and socialist agenda. Ezra Klein reportedly shut down Journolist on June 28, 2010 after leaks were reported. Andrew Breitbart announced recently that he would reward $100,000 to anyone who could provide the full “JournoList” archive, source fully protected.
This week Sarah Palin responded to the state-run media’s coordinated attacks on her during the 2008 election.
The Daily Caller reported, via FOX Nation:
From a remote location on an island off Alaska’s coast, former Governor Sarah Palin is blasting what she describes as the “sick puppies” in the media who immediately and ruthlessly attacked her when Sen. John McCain picked her as his running mate during the 2008 presidential campaign.
In exclusive remarks to The Daily Caller, Palin described “hordes of Obama’s opposition researchers-slash ‘reporters’” descending upon Alaska in the days after she was picked by McCain.
She said the media became a key reason she decided not to finish out her term as governor and faults, in part, the McCain campaign for failing to vigorously defend her.
Palin chose to be a public figure at the highest level, as a candidate in a presidential campaign, arguably inviting the most intense scrutiny imaginable.
Yet TheDC revealed posts from Jounolist that show liberal journalists coordinating attack lines against Palin from the moment McCain picked her, suggesting she may have had the deck stacked against her.
Palin said she sensed the vitriol coming from campaign reporters at the time.
“It was too obvious to me, my family, my administration and anyone else who knew me (and my record) that we were in a defenseless position the minute I gave my acceptance speech and the hordes of Obama’s opposition researchers-slash ‘reporters’ had descended upon Alaska,” Palin told The DC.

The funny thing is – the MSM has been so indoctrinated – they don’t see anything wrong with having something like the Journolist.
They were probably just implementing technology to help them in their previous tasks. Seriously – the AP wire is similar – AP decides what they will spew to all the new orgs. and then the news orgs. just spew that verbatim.
Really frustrating when you hear the propaganda being repeated on local conservative radio stations (97.1) as news in their top of the hour news lines. Especially when it just spews propaganda from the likes of Clare McKaskill’s office.

I find the existence of this list oddly comforting because, prior to learning about it, I could think of only much more dire explanations for why the entire media was in the tank for Obama. Like terrorist blackmail. Or some sort of nuclear threat. You can imagine. Not that this list is (it still exists in another form) NOT frightening. But it ought to be something which we can manage by making our voices heard to the employers of these so-called “journalists” and voting with our feet–meaning cancel subscriptions. Without a forum, they can’t shape the news. They can’t shape the news without power. They can’t shape the news without JOBS. They can’t shape the news without jobs at a viable company. I theorized that something like Journolist was in play right from the very beginning. I simply had no proof it was so. However it seemed to me damned strange that within 24 hours of the announcement of Palin’s candidacy all the memes- she’s stupid, she’s inexperienced, she’s a (gasp!) Don’t run away with the idea that the rest of the media is innocent. JournOlist might be one segment of this atrocity but they are not the only ones. The whole left media was complicit with this. Everyone of them printed or spoke these same talking points knowing they were lies. We all knew this at the time and celebrated every time any slur was revealed for what it was… lies. All the alphabet channels are just as guilty as these slugs on JournOlist. Same goes for all the newspapers.
