Congress Hits New All-Time Low–
Gallup reported, via Drudge:
Gallup’s 2010 Confidence in Institutions poll finds Congress ranking dead last out of the 16 institutions rated this year. Eleven percent of Americans say they have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in Congress, down from 17% in 2009 and a percentage point lower than the previous low for Congress, recorded in 2008…
Underscoring Congress’ image problem, half of Americans now say they have “very little” or no confidence in Congress, up from 38% in 2009 — and the highest for any institution since Gallup first asked this question in 1973. Previous near-50% readings include 48% found for the presidency in 2008, and 49% for the criminal justice system in 1994.
This year’s poll also finds a 15-point drop in high confidence in the presidency, to 36% from 51% in June 2009. Over the same period, President Barack Obama’s approval rating fell by 11 points, from 58% to 47%.

I view this as proof positive that the Apollo 11 did land on the moon.
In fact, we now have a large lunar colony.
11% of our population lives there.

AP: Homeland Security probed FOIA requesters, delayed data based on politics
The Most Transparent Administration Evah has yet another example of doublespeak and opacity uncovered by the Associated Press. A lengthy investigation shows that the Department of Homeland Security investigated people making Freedom of Information Act requests for their politics, and delaying legally mandated disclosures based on political considerations. The demands for information included the party affiliation of those making the requests, a policy that came from the top:

Well, only 11% of us are still stupid. That’s much better than I thought previously. Wait. What percentage of the population is in Congress and/or government?
sliderblaze commented:
Thats RACIST!!!
Hedgehog commented:
Actually about three percent of the American population are Communists. Eight percent are idiots. Unfortunately, the three percent are all in government, education, media, nonprofit groups, community activist groups and an assortment of rag tag coalitions, etc., many of which are funded, in whole or in part, by taxpayer money. They are parasites. But they are pretty much out in the open now. And they know that we are not nearly as stupid as they took us to be. They also know that there will come a day when they are going to be held to account for all of the damage they have done.

Gallop 11% Congress Aproval lowest ever 22 July 2010—
Kommy Obamy says that the poll is racist. he wants to kill all the whites. When Abdullah, Write takes over America, then the Kenyan Komminism will finally achieve our dream!
Militant Conservative commented:
Amazing that congress can be so low and the same parties president is at 44%?? Me thinks not. Media not willing to admit Obama is lower than whale dung.
Keep it up as the November cycle is heating up.
powder is dry.

Let’s hope they don’t plan a disaster for the fall. I put nothing past these people. They are desperate, and desperate people do desperate things. Keep an eye out, for anything that might be planned. Financial meltdown, planned terrorist attack? Barack Obama is tied to the Weather Underground. They said they wanted to kill millions of people for their cause. Don’t put anything past these economic terrorists.

What are those 11% thinking?
StandUpChuck commented:
Amazing 11% and some states are still picking incumbents to run in their primaries. It’s always someone else not their “guy.” Wake up America, you are being fleeced. Stupid is as stupid does.

The Leftist Fakers & Frauds posing as media will claim the rating is low because the Looter & Moocher Class is upset that Congress has not gone far enough Left.

So what? Year after year Congress polls in the gutter, but year after year Americans put the same crooks and goons back in office….
Who cares anymore….polls mean nothing.
Finncrisp commented:
It would be nice if we only had 11% Democrats in Congress after NOvember, but that would be a little too much to ask.
These statists are really, really, starting to bug me. They have no regard for the citizens of this country,. We exist to pay for their schemes, and to be totally controlled by them.
John Fembup commented:
At first I read the headline as MINUS 11%.
Not that far off, huh?
Kevin P commented:
11% – is that the percentage of the Constitution that hasn’t been TRAMPLED yet and is still in tact?

I, personally like to thank the deranged republican party ass-wipes who voted for the finreg bill. This poll proves we have to get rid of a few RINO’s.

sorry, i don’t think that’s a new low, but what do i know..
Only 29 percent of Americans gave Bush a positive grade for his job performance, below his worst Zogby poll mark of 30 percent in March.
A paltry 11 percent rated Congress positively, beating the previous low
of 14 percent in July.
