Obama Celebrates 4th of July By Bashing Wealthy White People

The president obviously learned something from his racist pastor and mentor.
President Obama celebrated the 4th of July this year by bashing those wealthy white people who had their rights before anyone else.
The AP reported:
Calling the Declaration of Independence more than words on an aging parchment, President Barack Obama marked the Fourth of July on Sunday by urging Americans to live the principles that founded the nation as well as celebrate them.
“This is the day when we celebrate the very essence of America and the spirit that has defined us as a people and as a nation for more than two centuries,” Obama told guests at a South Lawn barbecue honoring service members and their families.
“We celebrate the principles that are timeless, tenets first declared by men of property and wealth but which gave rise to what Lincoln called a new birth of freedom in America—civil rights and voting rights, workers’ rights and women’s rights, and the rights of every American,” he said. “And on this day that is uniquely American we are reminded that our Declaration, our example, made us a beacon to the world.”
At least he refrained from calling our forefathers the “Fondling Fathers” like they do at his old church.

I’m white (and an Eeeeevil Jooooooooooo), but not wealthy in a monetary sense – not by anyone’s accounting methods (hell of a reality check for me to admit that).
However, I am wealthy in an unmeasurable amount of love for my nation and the light of freedom she shines upon all who protect and seek it.
I can say three things of the person currently in the office of POTUS.
1. He’s visibly not white and I DON’T CARE ONE WHIT ABOUT THAT FACT.
2. If the man earned his monetary wealth legally and above-board, without underhanded dealings, skirting and/or breaking laws, then more power to him – I truly hope he enjoys it all with his family. Nobody I know and associate with would ever desire to take honestly earned wealth from him for any reason.
3. He does not even remotely share the same love for our nation and the light of freedom she shines upon all who protect and seek it, as many of us do ……… That, I care about….. Deeply.
This man has no business being elected and installed in office to as little as a overnight-weekend fill-in-for-vacations dog catcher in upper north nowheresville, let alone as POTUS and leader of free people.

Speaking of “property and wealth,” just what kind of home do you have in Chicago, Barack? It sure as hell looks a bit more expensive than a “white teabagger” double-wide.
And what about Michelle’s income the past half-dozen years, working as what, a spokesperson or some other functionary that doesn’t actually do /real/ work, for $450,000 a year base, plus bonus (not bad for a C- gal on an equal opportunity admittance and scholarship)? How’s that compare to the average American’s paycheck?
And then there’s Grandma and Grandpa, who brought mom up in typical socialite conditions, permitting her to sow her oats in the ripe and fertile Kenyan soils, bringing the product of her gentle rebellion back to wealthy bank-owning roots to educate and manage.
Looking at your big picture, let’s forget about glass houses. Realistically, you have no qualification to merely utter the names of the individuals who sacrificed all they had for this nation’s founding. Had you actually studied something other than populist faux-Marxism, you might have learned that the rebellion they brought was against unaccountable, arrogant and parasitical hierarchical elitists like yourself.
Don’t tread on the reputations of great men, of which history will never permit you to be equated.

Alana… thanks for the point. Obama deconstructs, as is evident in every single one of his misadventures in the conceptual landscape. He can’t help but mischaracterize, misrepresent, misspeak, etc. every single focus of his criticism.
What’s truly disappointing is that so many on the left have failed to awake, ignoring how significantly Obama is signing on as a socialist progressive of a nation-state orientation (theorists would call this a national socialists, but our “Darwin’s Law” reactionaries would take offense to such representations). Speaking as one who has extensively read Lenin, Marx, Zizek, Badiou, Agamben, Hardt, Negri and other vitally relevant post-modernists and post-structuralists, it’s of extreme disappointment that I see my peers refrain from critical engagement of this poseur-extraordinaire.
At this time, it’s difficult to place “Dear Leader,” but all indications suggest that he’s pursuing a path prescribed by those very special interests that seek state manipulation and control of markets, possibly for the purpose of furthering disequilibrium (e.g. George Soros). In the defense of honest Communists (ala Negri, Hardt, Zizek), he’s clearly not in their mold, instead desiring to seize and assign private property ownership to an Imperial State (controlled by very special elites). It’s for this reason that his new kinship for the Russian leadership is most telling: Obama may be providing a gambler’s tell to the orientation with his oligarch handlers. America, in their eyes, is clearly an opportunity for reterritorialization, seizing private assets owned by the corporatists and delivering it to state management by a new postmodern, post-Imperial socialist state.
Our theorists have much work to do, should they open their eyes. History is transforming before them and they’re still anticipating the Coming of their Christ the Savior.

I’ve been reading up a lot on the Revolution in America in the past few weeks. And, for example, a John Adams hardly strikes me as rich guy.
George Washington wasn’t exactly poor, but how did he get there? Years and years of hard work. And that man served two terms as president. Then they approached him and asked him to serve a third term which Washington politely declined. He stepped away from power.
Yes, these men were wealthy. Wealthy in moral integrity. They were not power hungry buggers like those clowns that now frequent our governments and parliaments. They were also wealthy in knowldge. When I saw what and how much these men read I was merely amazed. And the things they knew, often selftaught. Amazing.
I don’t even want to compare Obama with Washington, it would be an insult to Old George.

However, I did add a piece from The John Adams series from HBO. My wife watched it and found it fascinating. I think one way to help kids understand our founding would be to have them watch this in school.

This looks to be Obama and his speech writer’s inability to accept some of the lost history lessons that Glenn Beck and David Barton are restoring in America.
Recently they profiled “Black Founding Fathers”, and “Women Founders”.
During these studio audience shows, Barton pointed out with facts, about how early revolutionary America worked to turn back slavery, and include women in the right to vote in some states.
So to me, it looks like Obama’s speech writers are grasping for ANYTHING that they can use to try and make the founding fathers appear racist and sexist.
During these shows, Glenn Beck fairly pointed out the best he could, any strings that were attached to these attempts at bettering society.
Many of these issues at the time were tied to defining ownership of land and property, and minimum wealth, in order to keep a check and balance on making sure outcomes were based fairly on those that had a stake in the affected areas.
So to me, it looks like Obama and his team are still bothered by Glenn Beck.
