Rep. Michele Bachmann was the keynote speaker tonight at the Third Annual Right Online Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. I caught up with Michele at a reception before her speech. We talked about her Congressional Tea Party Caucus. She said that she invited Speaker Pelosi to join the group but that she has not heard back from her yet.
Hah!

Michele told the crowd tonight that 30 Congressional members have already signed up to be part of the caucus… But, she’s still hopes to hear back from Pelosi.

  1. I am tired of hearing about Michele Bachmann and the Tea Party. I wish the news media stop interview her. Give me a break! I am Republican conservative. I prefer Sarah Palin than Michele.

  2. Meanwhile, the march of undocumented democrats into the USA continues… http://www.BorderInvasionPics.com

  3. Anonymous, why choose between the two? They are both smokin’ hot, have brains, and are putting out strong conservative messages. Now, if you are tired of hearing from Pelosi I would understand :-)

  4. @ #1 nice try troll, but I do not believe that you are a Palin supporter.

  5. Aussie, you’re absolutely right. The trolls are out in FULL FORCE. I suspect that Obama has launched a MASSIVE misinformation campaign in light of recent developments.

Between CNN’s multi-hour conservative/Tea Party/Breitbart bash last night, and all the blog trolls I’ve been seeing today, it’s about the only conclusion I can come to. There’s a SEA of lefties in some office building somewhere hitting ALL the conservative sites spewing their racist, anti-conservative garbage.

Their only hope now is to try to reach as many uninformed people as they can with their spin on these issues, because there’s just too much reality leaking out at the moment. Things are going very badly for them, and they know it.

Now we know where all our hard earned “stimulus” dollars are going … and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Shame on the Republicans who didn’t see this coming and voted to approve the money for this insult …

  6. How long do you think it’ll be before we hear griping that this is really a stealth “White Congressional Caucus”? Maybe a week?

  7. Re: troll #1 . . . agitprop is the sum and substance of the left. It works well with the ill-educated, which is why they are so eager to embrace an “open borders” policy.

I trust Con. Bachmann does not truly expect to see pelosi & such join a group embracing the US Constitution at any time preceding the Hades Hellions’ Stanley Cup championship.

  8. #1 your coffee date with queen nancy is at eight, dont forget to take your check book, bank statements, and the deed to your house..Oh yeah and your childrens piggy banks…..If nazi nan gets anywhere near the tea party i quit….

  9. [Van Jones: Stop worrying about the deficit. The government can just take more money from rich companies]..and my favorite line especially after the steady barrage of junk tossed at Bush by the professional junk throwers. welcome to the big time cry baby….
“Having spent six months in the White House, it’s a totally different experience when you’re sitting there and the missiles are coming over the horizon at you.”

  10. Somebody should let Van Jones know that the “rich companies” are free to pick up and leave the US at any time they care to do so – and take their money with them. WORRY about the deficit, because historically it is the backs of the middle class that will pay it off, not the rich and certainly NOT the “rich companies.” (I wonder how much Van Jones is willing to hand over out of his not insubstantial income . . . . . probably no more than Kerry is willing to pay sales tax on that yacht.)

  11. Granny. The top five percent of individual tax payers pay fifty percent of the personal income tax.

  12. Pelosi couldn’t ever join the TP caucus for obvious reasons.

Like Michele stated, this group is the ears, so Pelosi would have to actually listen to the “commoners” and keep her trap shut.

  13. Congressman Bachmann is actually my choice for speaker of the house. I have never had to guess about what this woman thinks or stands for. I don’t trust Boehner or any of the old guard GOP that have been corrupted by the likes of Lott and “K” street.

  14. Catty move on her part. Of course its gonna get worse we have not hit bottom yet. Full steam over the cliff after the November 2 elections. (nothing to lose). American public has had enough of this WH. shut it down.
    powder is dry.
Yes and the troll dropping are getting deep.

  15. #1 get lost, Bachmann’s star is rising and you can eat the dust with the rest of the Dim-ocrats.

  16. Pelosi at a Tea Party caucus….
    turd in a punch bowl.

  17. We are going to reduce the deficit when the republicans take back control and expose all of the demo rats that has NOT paid their taxes!

Feel good to see the liberals squrry for cover ups!

Just remember: “He who laughs last, laughs the loudest.” Or longest! lol

  18. neomom

I agree with you! Michelle Backmann… speaker of the house sounds real good. I have nothing against John Boehner.

Who ever is the next republican speaker of the house and they are there to take back the gavel from evil Polosi I want him or her to bend over and whisper in Pelosi’s ear and say…..”This is a fu*kin good thing.” Pay backs are h*ll don’t you think?

  19. Compare Bachman and Pelosi.

Proof that LIBTARDS are indeed RETARDED.

Pelosi is a comical hack. But she’s LIBTARDS own comical hack.

  20. Cook updates on the House

A simulation of the 2010 House races as charted by the Cook Political Report follows, but right here is all you need to know about who’s favored:

Democrats currently have 66 seats listed as Lean or Toss Up.

Republicans currently have 7 seats listed as Lean or Toss Up.

Oh and on top of the 66, there are 2 seats held by Democrats which are given over as Likely Republican.

  21. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear Pelosi say that those “right-wing” extremist, un-American teabaggers threatened her by inviting her to join their caucus? You know that’s how Queen Botox thinks

Last name would not be Bass, hmmm.

  23. Tea Party Caucus needs 435 members. Make it happen America! Let’s fix this country now for all future generations. Repeal and impeach sounds pretty good to me.

  24. Keep in mind that state legislatures elected
    this November will control re-districting.

As Joey “Smart*ss” Biden would say,
“This is a big ****** deal.”

  25. This is why there should not be a Tea Party cacus. I do not want the movement to be sullied with Congressional backroom tactics and “gotchas” The corridors of power are quaking and will do anything to coopt and control the movement. Back away Rep Bachman.

  26. re: #26

I am reading that we are having significant financial problems, ranging from being generally behind in individual candidate races to the RNC actually being in debt.

It would be nice of some of these bloggers and reporters could start asking candidates and officials what the financial outlook is for the campaigning season.

  27. 75% Of Americans Reject Liberal/Progressive Economic Policies

If this election is about economic choice (free market vs government intervention) – the Dems lose. If this elections is a referendum on the President’s performance on the economy – the Dems lose. If this election is about support for Congress – the Dems lose. When 90% of the country disapproves of the current Democrat Congress and 75% of the people disagree with the fundamental approach of the Democrat party, what do sane people think is going to happen in November?

  29. Great interview Jim.

Michele we all appreciate how hard you are working for us, and how much you believe in the Constitution. Never give up.

  30. Gotta love her. No tele prompters needed for her.
    LOL
    Bite it hard OBOTS.

  31. How many repubs voted for SOBama?
Lots. Will they do it again? NOT.

  32. “The Congressional Tea Party Caucus will not serve as the voice of the tea party but as the ear of the tea party”! You have to love this woman, Michelle Bachmann!

However, Michelle, I wouldn’t count on speaker Pelosi joining the Tea Party Caucus. Seeing that the Tea Party calls for limited government, and lower spending, taxes and regulations I would definitely say that Pelosi is a caffeine addicted coffee drinker who can’t get enough of government, out of control spending, debilitating taxes, and crushing regulations. Pelosi is the human reincarnation of Juan Valdez’ jackass!

  33. Great interview with Michele Jim! I’ve been watching her for over a year and I agree with Dana… Michele should run for President in 2012!
