Leftist Philly Mayor Smears Tea Party During Immigration Interview

Leftist Philly Mayor Michael Nutter told reporters today that, “The Tea Party and others would tell you that every single undocumented individual is a drug smuggler, a terrorist, or a threat to the American way of life.”
FOX News reported:
Philadelphia will renew a contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE , that gives immigration authorities access to city arrest records after revising the agreement to exclude data on victims and witnesses.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter announced Friday that the city had agreed to renew for one year its participation in ICE’s Preliminary Arraignment Reporting System, or PARS, after his concerns were addressed that the data on victims and witnesses were discouraging illegal immigrants from reporting crimes out of fear of being deported.
Nutter fired a shot at Tea Party members in his statement as he called for comprehensive immigration overhaul that enhances border security and provide a pathway to citizenship for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the country.
“Yes we need enhanced border control. Yes we need to focus our efforts on those who pose a threat to our country,” he said. “But let’s not fall into the trap set by the Tea Party and others who would tell you that every single undocumented individual is a drug smuggler, a terrorist, or a threat to the American way of life. That is simply not true.”

I am amazed at the politicians that latch on to the politicized IDEA of what is in the Arizona law rather than what is actually in there. First, probable cause still applies which automatically prevents the leftist dream of illegals being seized on the streets for walking while Hispanic. Secondly, the situation is far more serious that this administration wants to admit. Out of sight, out of mind is their attitude. They continue to pander to the Mexican government which make billions off of drug generated graft and money sent home every week. In the meantime border states are stuck with the responsibility of paying for social services which illegals do not help fund. The tea party is about people against BIG monstrous out of control federal government spending and taxing. The Tea Party is not about much of anything else, no matter what political position you wish to tie it to.
Since the MSM has done everything it could to NOT report on the actual Tea Party events for more than a year now, it is possible that you simply do not understand what it is about.
Taking the time to learn what a group is about, before you make false claims, will help you from looking like a fool in the future.

We have been a country of laws and not men. What Nutter and others in his party are loath to admit is that every lawbreaker diminishes our American way of life and is a threat to our stability as a nation. If we have bad laws on our books we need to change them.
We have gotten lazy and should never have allowed any politician or bureaucrat to decide which laws they would ignore and which groups get a pass. Equal justice is not a difficult concept but it is one we must be diligent about or we will lose it and everything else.

Immigrate the way you’re supposed to (through the door), and you’ll be welcomed with open arms by the American people. I decided a few weeks ago to never donate money to the NAACP and the UNCF again. I have in the past, but I cannot reconcile my disgust any more. Instead, I donated to Allen West’s campaign to beat the June 30th deadline. I believe that folks like Allen West can do much more to facilitate amiable race relationships than any organization.

In 2008 there were over 1,000,000 new citizens naturalized. Of that nr 15 % were from Mexico.
In 2009 there were over 700,000 new citizens naturalized. Of that Number 15 % were Mexican origin. That is a lot and shows that there is a plan, a policy and it is operating. Maybe it is too many but they are doing it according to the law and studying and waiting and so forth.

At this point, I’m warm for letting this run its natural course. In the year ahead, a bunch of states will put up their photocopies of AZ SB1070, crossing out AZ and pencilling in their state.
Foreigners here illegally will pull up out of those states and shift to the proud and unbending, morally superior “sanctuary” cities.
Police who want to work in a rational environment will quit the “sanctuary” cities and relocate to states that appreciate professional law enforcement. “Sanctuary” cities will be left with the worse remnants of the police, and be forced to recruit losers, who will be expected to take on … well they won’t even show up.
