Independent Voters Abandon Radical Obama in Droves

Gallup reported:
Thirty-eight percent of independents approve of the job Barack Obama is doing as president, the first time independent approval of Obama has dropped below 40% in a Gallup Daily tracking weekly aggregate. Meanwhile, Obama maintains the support of 81% of Democrats, and his job approval among Republicans remains low, at 12%.

This will continue to help for the 2010 election cycle, but 2012 is still quite a ways off politically. A lot can happen, and there is reason to believe that the Republicans are going to be made fools of again – even if they’re not – regarding the economy and our national budget (expenditures – read, necessary austere retractive measures [which is what we fiscal conservatives have been calling for all along, a common sense tight belt, but this is going to really hurt us worse than it should because it'll be very late, thus very hard and Obama will say it's the Republican's fault and/or that he's just doing what the Tea Party has been calling for all along]).
The populace can be fickle.

Even the ignorant have some intuition. This president is leading us through any means to justify his ends. You have to be blatant sometimes when you do that.
It’s not suprising that 81% of dems still support him. Many of them know exactly what he’s doing and are all for it.
