Leftwing Hollywood smears Lady Thatcher.

Lady Thatcher’s children are reportedly upset that far left activist Meryl Streep is making a movie depicting their mother as senile and regretful.
The Telegraph reported:
Although the prospect of Meryl Streep playing Margaret Thatcher may have pleased some admirers of the Conservative former prime minister, her children have been horrified to discover more about the film.
Mandrake hears that the screenplay of The Iron Lady depicts Baroness Thatcher as an elderly dementia-sufferer looking back on her career with sadness. She is shown talking to herself and unaware that her husband, Sir Denis Thatcher, has died.
“Sir Mark and Carol are appalled at what they have learnt about the film,” says a friend of the family. “They think it sounds like some Left-wing fantasy. They feel strongly about it, but will not speak publicly for fear of giving it more publicity.”
Cameron McCracken, the managing director of the film-maker Pathé, confirms: “It is true that the film is set in the recent past and that Baroness Thatcher does look back on both the triumphs and the lows of her extraordinary career.
“It is a film about power and the price that is paid for power. In that sense, it is the story of every person who has ever had to balance their private life with their public career.”

I’ve been boycotting Meryl Streep films for years due to her odious politics. Even though my wife likes that stupid Julia Child film that Streep starred in, I won’t watch it with her. I hope never to watch another Streep flick, ever.

I can watch the real deal Margaret Thatcher for free as she evicerates the Parliamentary opposition. But, the Democrats have strangled my discretionary budget, so I don’t have money to buy a ticket to watch the overly-flattered self-important Merly Streep not “get” Thatcher.
Then later, I’ll watch Meryl Streep sniff and whine that Americans are stupid as she tries to explain away her bomb of a flick.
Win-win for me.

Has-been and aging actress panders to the democrat base by attacking a brittish conservative woman. What could possibly go wrong?
*ahem* TANK *ahem*

This woman is an elitist in spades. She had a home up in the northwest corner of Connecticut and reportedly went to the town hall to tell the First Selectman (that’s when you have a town so small you don’t have a mayor) and suggested the townsfolk be asked to stay home on the weekends. Why? Because they were cluttering up the place, taking the limited parking while trying to do their shopping while the wealthy weekenders were trying to do the shopping they didn’t do on Friday at overpriced Zabar’s in the city.
To say the “natives” were PO’d at her and her ilk is an understatement.
Because of people like Meryl Streep normal people can’t afford to live in the towns they grew up in. People like Dustin Hoffman etc force up the land prices and drive the “proletariat” out so they can have their dachas. It’s disgusting that, in her vast arrogance, she pretends to care about anything other that her own slackening hide.

The Iron Lady was the last defender of the United Kingdom. Every PM since her has been a hack. Even Cameron is a wanker. Despite all his promises the UK is still kow-towing to the muselmaniacs.
Margaret Thatcher… hero.
Meryl Streep… wrecked zero.
BigAlSouth commented:
Who cares. The film will bomb as do all films that take dramatic license with the facts about Conservatives. Sure, it will get a few accolades and useless awards, but the film will never be a commercial success.
Bank on it.

Meryl played a glowing tribute to Soviet atom spy Ethel Rosenberg and ridiculed a Mormon woman as lesbian in Angels in America. If Maggie had any regrets it was probably that communism still survived after she left office. The only regret she might have had is that in order to promote nuclear energy, she came up with the idea of fossil fuels as an environmental hazard which the left then transmuted into global warming.

I watched her awful Julia Child film. While she did do a fair imitation of Julia, she did it in a way that was very demeaning, portraying her as more than a bit of an airhead.

These “great ladies of the stage and screen” have to suck up to the far left or else they will be out of work. Hollywood is the world capital of leftist groupthink. I haven’t been to a movie in 20 years, and I haven’t missed a thing. Waste of time, waste of money. Has there been a good movie since “Chariots of Fire”? I don’t know, I’m just asking.

Man, don’t watch “Julie and Julia” it had an anti-Conservative streak that was as tacked on as it was condescending.

I don’t do movies anymore, all are just vile tripe, laced with lies.
John Hetman commented:
Ms. Streep is an overrated and unattractive actress. There is something pinched about her as if she is suffering from gas pains. Her politics do not surprise me in this age of the banality of the stage and screen.

Given a chance to watch just about anything from Communist Hollywood I’d rather watch something like the 7 hour program I just watched from Salt Lake City.

Not another actor to put on my boycott list – are they all leftards? You’d think that people who make so much money would appreciate capitalism, but then again they are all narcissists who believe they are deserving of such income because they are above others. Hah.

Meryl Streep is now a known crack addict.

Hollywood turns SOVIETWOOD.
Factory of CRAP.
Factory of LIES
Factory of COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA
Factory of TREASON.
Well it’s happened loooooong time ago.
It can also be called WHOREWOOD.
There are rumours that Sarah Palin intends to visit the Iron Lady. She mentioned that possibility in her twitter.
Then we shall have a true, unbiassed and objective view of Tatcher’s state of health.
Not that she (Palin) will be willing to reveal anything. She is to descreet and restpectful for that.
But it wiil be possible to make such an asessment judging after the glow that will surroung Palin upon her return from Britain.
After all, Palin is a political child of Tatcher and Reagan, so it will be a natural joy the child will experience when meeting with her, albeit political, mother.

The “dementia-striken” Lady Thatcher regrets:
“Oh, woe is me. What was I thinking bringing down the mighty People’s paradise of the Soviet Union to wreck and ruin, throwing a full nelson around their necks while Ronald Reagan pummeled them, crushing the spine of that benevolent … bene … ah … ah … governmen … …. oh, WAIT! Where did that come from … that mysterious wave of pure satisfaction coursing thru my soul?”

It is a film about rewriting history. How do the screen writers know how Margaret Thatcher feels about her career? This is liberal fantasy. A liberal wet dream. I used to like Meryl Streep but no more. She’s nothing but a has-been actress trying to cling in to the goodwill of a shallow Hollywood where if you don’t espouse liberalism you won’t find work and you will become forgotten which she almost did. Margaret Thatcher was proud of and outspoken about her career way after she was voted out of power. I doubt she has changed her mind about anything. Hasn’t she agreed to see Sarah Palin sometime soon? That doesn’t sound like a aged and regretful person.

Yeah, they get Oliver Stone to do these warped historicals and then in the database all these movies show up as our history. Now they have meryl streep doing a phony history. This phony history thing is what Commies do…re-write history.
This movie like the Iraq war ones will be in the Dollar Bin at the Drug store, or the 2 buck movie house…Good job, meryl.
