Governor Rendell Slams Obama For Appearing On "The View" (Video)

Governor Ed Rendell (D-PA) slammed President Obama for appearing on “The View” this week.
Barack Obama will skip the Boy Scout 100 year Anniversary Jamboree on Thursday…
Instead he will travel to New York City to appear on “The View.”

Here’s one thing Gov. Ed Rendell (D-Pennsylvania) and Pat Buchanan (R-everywhere) agree on: Pres. Obama should not go on ‘The View.’
Rendell: I think there’s got to be a little bit of dignity to the presidency.
Mika Brzezinski: What are you saying, Ed?
Willie Geist: What a horrible insult to “The View.”
Rendell: I think there are some shows. I wouldn’t put him on “Jerry Springer,” too, right? … I think the president of the United States has to go on serious shows. And “The View” is, you can make a case that it’s a serious show, but it also rocks and rolls a little bit. I’m not sure he has to go on “The View” to be open to questions.
Oh come on… It’s serious.
So what if they call him sexy when he comes on to chat.

Everyone knows “The View” is not serious serious TV. No one will ask him any questions that weren’t handcrafted by fifteen czars a month ago. He’ll probably have some Obama chuddly with Q-cards off camera to make sure he doesn’t speak a single unscripted syllable.

There’s a good possibility that Obama could become a TV Pitchman for Ginzo Knives after his term is up–so he can get his face plastered all over TV. Its sad for a man who lives to be interviewed when he is no longer of interest to the media-nots.
I knew nothing good would come of his Presidency when Obama began removing the pictures of early presidents in order to put up modern art. He will probably turn the White House into a Mosque/Taco Stand.

This President has shown that his relaxation of choice is campaigning, not golf. With the problems that the country is facing, I would expect him to be in the Oval Office meeting with various people in his administration to make sure they understood the seriousness of our situation and that he was keeping an eye on their progress. Either he cares more about campaigning than doing what he was elected to do or he has discovered he is not a good administrator and that others do it better than he and he should just stay out of the way. Either possibility is disappointing.

It is getting to the point where news people feel compelled to ask at least one importent question in an interview,usaully near the end so he doesn’t ramble on for five minutes saying nothing so he must take friendly venues where he can find them with no chance of embarassing himself.
