Voter fraud you can believe in.

Felons voting illegally likely gave Al Franken his victory in the Minnesota Senate Race.
FOX News reported:

The six-month election recount that turned former “Saturday Night Live” comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota’s Twin Cities.

That’s the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.

The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes — fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, according to Minnesota Majority’s newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.

Furthermore, the report charges that efforts to get state and federal authorities to act on its findings have been “stonewalled.”

“We aren’t trying to change the result of the last election. That legally can’t be done,” said Dan McGrath, Minnesota Majority’s executive director. “We are just trying to make sure the integrity of the next election isn’t compromised.”

Related… ACORN was behind Franken’s stolen senate seat.

  1. Why can’t it be legally done. He won illegally, so get Franken out of there!

  2. It’s the Democrat way.

Court the felon, dead, illegal alien, and welfare votes… easy recipe for victory.

  3. If a Republican had gotten in on the felon vote, would there be a remedy?

  4. Umm…felon votes may have contributed but it was more likely the bag (bags?) of ballots found in the back seats of election workers cars after the election that put Al Franken over the top!

  5. I suppose it will be referred to the DOJ? Nothing to see here, move along.

  6. one of the top agendas for the repubs when we take back control, election reform…. good grief

  7. “We are just trying to make sure the integrity of the next election isn’t compromised.”

Good luck with that. To use a line from an old song, “Bring Lawyers, guns and money”.

  8. I hate democrats.

  9. Let me rephrase that – I HATE democrats.

  10. Can the Dhimms do anything the right way??

  11. Criminals and felons voting for other criminals and felons, yep thats the best description yet of the democratic party…

  12. Too corrupt to fix!

  13. Our electoral system is dead. We are a banana republic with a vengeance. We can’t prosecute the NBP, we can’t kick an illegal office holder out, we can’t use IDs at the polling places.

There is no electoral integrity without these things and the ain’t happening.

  14. CLN, I have to agree with you. Fair play seems to be well and truly dead. Why don’t they just declare a dictatorship and be done with it rather than keep up the pretense.

  15. What really gets me is the poor quality of our enemy. The likes of Pelousy,Reid,Franken,NBPP, ACORN, Obama,Holder, etal. These are the creatures destroying our liberty. Unreal.

  16. Stalin was right. It’s no longer the vote that counts, but who counts the votes – at least, here in America.

    This is proof.

  17. get ready for lots of this in november with help from blackthugparty

  18. Keep kissing acorn butt, America. Keep rallying around your “historic” jivemaster. The negrification of America has had great results, hasn’t it?

And I like you clowns who think this is a Democrat-Republican thing. The highest goal on the GOP agenda is groveling for black votes. Better offer more freebies and handouts, Clueless Party. MLK’s dream has been dead for about as long as he has been.

True till now. Now the TPM and the acendancy of Conservatism with a blatantly open socialist make this easy pickens. Even moderates do not like the swill Dem’s and Obummer are passing.
Hard left turn and watch what happens. Progressives in both parties are the targets.
    powder is dry.

  20. That was obvious from the start. Everyone knew it was filthy, dirty schemes that got him in. Both sides know, to this day. I’m just amazed he ended up getting away with it!

  21. Republicans will be kicked out of the country unless they get mean. At this moment, they are panzies. Obama will steal 2012, and the Republicans will do nothing. This is stupid. The country does not obey any laws anymore.

  22. It’s coming Granny, it’s coming. If we cannot prosecute and imprison the people who steal elections there is no reason in their minds not to do it. And under some new sobriquet we are probably paying ACORN to continue this “work”.
The press will probably sing the praises of Obama as dictator, Thomas Friedman has already opined about what a great thing that would be.

  23. If Franken was an honest man, he would vacate his ill gotten Senate seat.

    He will not do that.

  24. So can we blame the passage of the Socialized Medicine Bill on these Felons voting? ACORN must be very proud.

  25. Boy am I shocked! /s

Of course Al Franken won’t give up his seat because as he put it “It’s mine turn to drive.”

  26. In our state, we got stuck with Cantwell 2 times due to voting irregularities. Hopefully, that will will change when she comes up again in 2014. We are hoping that illegal votes don’t ruin our chance to get rid of Patty Murray this November. Not holding my breath on that one, though.

  27. Still, voters in Minnesota are morons. Those who voted for Franken & those who remained home during the elections, allowing this to happen. By any measure, Coleman is a good man & was a decent senator. That unfunny puke wasn’t even qualified for a radio talk show, yet half of those who went to polls voted for him. It should not have happened. If Minnesotans are so keen on practical jokes they’re free to re-elect Ventura & screw themselves again. Just don’t do it to rest of of us. Don’t saddle USA with failed comedians as senators, please.

  28. We here in Minnesota KNEW this was a scam.
This State is run by liberal kooks who would sell their momma for a political seat.

Umm…felon votes may have contributed but it was more likely the bag (bags?) of ballots found in the back seats of election workers cars after the election that put Al Franken over the top!
    ========================

That was a bag of felon ballots in the back seat of his car most llikely.

  30. @dries:

I agree 100%, but there aren’t enough Republicans left in this State to win anymore.
Especially when you have ACORN show up with boxes of Democratic votes from dead people.

Let me rephrase that – I HATE democrats.
    =========================

Every Iota of a democrat… i HATE em’.!!
If you want freedom you’re gonna have to kill some democrats…you gonna have to kill daybabies.!!
First you gotta figure out what a daybaby is.!!

  32. Voters, be they Democrats or Republicans, hate cheating on the counts.

After the other voters overrode my choice for President, I eventually decided that they chose better than me, and that America was fortunate in having George W. Bush as President. I did vote for him the second time around.

The count is important to all of us, because it is our best safeguard for a good decision that can be accepted by the losers.

  33. Coleman could of appealed, but as usual, the Republican quit so as not to create an incident. I say FROM NOW ON we must not quit for any reason. Force the Rats to prove that the votes are legal. No we just say augh shucks and quit.

  34. The right to vote and the sanctity of this vote is what makes this Nation not a tyranny.Congrats to all those |
Dems who in the blind pursuit of power have placed this Nation into a Tyranny.

  35. Just reaffirms why I left Minnesota 50 years ago. Nothing has changed.

  36. Florida 2000 is a case in point. We allowed the MSM and even some on or side to say it was Republicans that tried to steal the vote. Gore sued the recounts began, but only in heavy Demoncrapic districts, and we had the hanging chads, and the butterfly ballots. people holding ballots up to the light and then declaring a vote for Gore. The Florida Supreme court tried to help steal the election. After the election they took a voting machine and put three voting cards in. The first card showed as a good vote. The second card down displayed a “hanging chad” and the third card down a dimpled chad. Now remember the State police pulled over that DEmonrat election official and found the voting machine in his trunck “filled with chad” and yet not even the R’S put two and two togeather, they just took the machine and let him go.

My point is that we let too much stuff go that should be a very big issue, and have brought us to the point that NO election has any confidence of being honest. Who exactly does this help?
I remember in one of J.D. Hayworths early elections, he had a precinct that voted against him with 1200 more votes than registered voters. Nothing was done here either because he won the election. You have to cut out the cancer before it cost you your life.

  37. CLN @ #14,
In Arizona, a picture ID or two forms of other id without a picture, all showing the address that you are registered to vote at, are required to vote. That plus the previous three laws on illegal immigration stood up in court and so will the latest one. You have to have a Republican legislature and a Republican governor to pass laws like these though. Hint, hint!

  38. This Al Franken fiasco assured ObamaCare and will assure Card Check, Cap N’ Tax, etc. Where are the pubbies???? Hello????? Calling Mitch McConnell………cue crickets……sigh…..

  39. Doesn’t it suck when Conservatives attempt to live by moral standards, equal laws, equal opportunities, and fair play? And fraudsters lie, cheat, steal, and continue to laugh because they get away with it? Yes it does. But honest people can stand in the light. Fraudsters have to operate in secret, in the dark, and behind closed doors. Senator Fraud (formerly Franken) has some ‘splainen to do.

  40. Doesn’t this mean any Senate vote that passed with exactly 50 votes or beat a Republican filibuster with exactly 60 votes where Al Franken was involved should be challenged by Republicans to the Supreme Court as invalid?

  41. Apparently the “rule” is if you stole it you get to keep it if you are a dem, better luck next time sucka!

  42. Never, ever, ever vote Democrat! If you’re not outraged you’re not paying attention!!!!!!!

  43. The only thing that gives me hope is to see DEMOCRATS turning on their own party.

Read some of the dem sites, and you’ll see this.
They don’t want to vote Republican, but they realize that the country is more important than party.
    FINALLY.
(And I don’t mean all of them, of course, but enough to make a difference)
