Black conservatives from the National Center for Public Policy Research released this powerful statement today condemning the NAACP for their radical resolution against tea party protesters.
Black Activists Condemn NAACP Resolution Against Tea Party Movement
Washington, DC – As the NAACP plans to use their group’s prestige to bash the tea party movement, members of the Project 21 black leadership network are urging delegates at the NAACP’s national convention not to turn the NAACP into a pawn for progressive political bosses.
“As a frequent speaker at tea party rallies around the country, I can assure the NAACP that the tea party movement’s concerns are about President Obama’s policies and not his race,” said Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli. “I’m deeply concerned that the NAACP is being used as a political tool to do the dirty work of the progressive movement. Instead of criticizing tea parties, the NAACP would be better served denouncing the racist comments made by a member of the New Black Panther Party and their voter intimidation outside a Philadelphia polling place in the last presidential election.”
According to a report in the Kansas City Star, the NAACP, which is conducting its 101st annual convention in that city, will take up a resolution as early as Tuesday to urge “all people of good will to repudiate the racism of Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.”
Kansas City NAACP chapter president Anita Russell said the tea party movement is “really not about limited government.” The resolution reportedly dwells on “explicitly racist behavior” that relies upon anecdotal posters opposing President Obama and allegations of the use of racial epithets by tea party participants.
Project 21′s Borelli added: “I urge the delegates to read the Contract from America – a list of policy objectives for Congress that was developed by tea party members nationwide. These objectives are clearly about limited government and liberty. In fact, the NAACP should be very concerned Obama’s cap-and-trade energy policy will lead to higher energy prices and higher unemployment – particularly among poor and minority households.”
Borelli, who has spoken at tea party events nationwide (including last year’s 912 rally at the U.S. Capitol) is the author of the commentary “Liberals Crash Tea Party, But Stay Silent On Black Panther Hate Talk,” published by FoxNews.com on July 12, 2010.
“Personally, I’m tired of arguing with the ignorant,” said Bob Parks, a Project 21 member who has also participated in tea party events – including the rallies outside the U.S. Capitol the weekend of the House votes on Obamacare. “Al Sharpton recently tried in vain on his radio show to get me to apologize for alleged tea party racism. He tried to get me to apologize for racial epithets hurled at Congressman John Lewis that only Lewis seemed to hear. I would guess neither Al Sharpton nor the overwhelming majority of NAACP members have ever been to a tea party, so they speak from intentional ignorance. While liberals scream racism at the tea parties purely because of their audacity to oppose Obama, it’s the progressives who seem to feel free to use racial epithets against others as they know – as is seen in this instance – that the NAACP turns a blind partisan eye.”
The NAACP’s Russell reportedly is “pretty certain” the anti-tea party resolution will pass.
“Progressives have hijacked the NAACP to the extent that the group stands silent as conservative blacks suffer indignities for their beliefs. Some NAACP even egg on this appalling behavior – providing political cover and lapdog services for these elitists,” said Project 21 member Kevin Martin. “As a conservative black man, I have felt more welcomed and at home within the tea party movement than among those of my own who side with the this new NAACP. If a few random signs of President Obama looking like the Joker is indeed racist, then where was the NAACP when conservative blacks are depicted as lawn jockeys, Oreos and Uncle Toms?”
“The level and depth of ignorance and misrepresentation of truth is unquantifiable,” said Project 21 chairman Mychal Massie, another speaker at tea party events in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Michigan. “The simple truth is that the tea party movement is about smaller government, lower taxes and an adherence to the Constitution. The NAACP is welcome to disagree with the tea parties, but in making that complaint they must be truthful and not fall prey to ignorance and perceived disaffection.”
A $100,000 reward offer made by Andrew Breitbart to anyone who can provide video and audio evidence that racial epithets were shouted at Congressional Black Caucus members by tea party activists on March 20 remains unclaimed months later.
Project 21, a leading voice of black conservatives since 1992, is sponsored by the National Center for Public Policy Research (http://www.nationalcenter.org).

I think that Black folks ought to be pissed off at the assumption that they don’t have any other political choice but to be a left-wing statist. They have been brainwashed so long to believe this, I sometimes have doubts as to when they can escape its grip (e.g., over 90% still support Oilbama).

The NAACP long ago stopped working for blacks and began it’s new phase as a very corrupt extension of the Democrat Party.
Multitude commented:
As some have anticipated, the only path toward being post-racial is for everything to be racial. In that regard, we can thank the NAACP’s efforts to delineate racism as nothing more significant than breathing.
Yes, there is difference inherent in anything and as tea partiers have observed, that difference makes us stronger. Legacy artifacts of white Southern biopower, combined with the Eurocentric progressive elites, have corrupted minoritarian institutions such as the NAACP an rendered their advocacy as nothing more than misinformation intended to keep the minority “hordes” under the control of the elite left.
Tea parties already benefit from a mixture of difference: races, genders, orientations, economic background, etc. Our rejection of oppressive hierarchy – oversized, bloated government and its incestuous institutional elite partners – is what brings us together, along with our demand for reform that leads to the control directed by the multitude.
It’s with particular disdain that I read comments from Anita Russell, a progressive shill who sold out in KC. As an individual who’s been an active proponent and supporter of KCC’s policy debate team – a nationally recognized black high school team from one of the worst schools in the nation – and one who is also very engaged in the tea party movement, I’d like to see Anita Russell walk in our shoes for a day instead of latching on to plantation masters for a few table scraps.
Tea party people know who is doing something productive about empowering the strength of difference in our nation, vs. those who use it to keep the non-elites in their place. The NAACP has become nothing more than a proxy for the minority-oppressing white progressive elite.

If there were any truth in advertising, they’d be known as the National Association for the Advancement of Communist Power.
Mahdi Al-Dajjal commented:
Great letter but will have absolutely no affect. The NAACP has been completely taken over by the Dem Party and the Dem Party has been completely taken over by the Socialist/Communist Party.
If you don’t believe me then just take a look at the USA Communist Party’s Manifesto (at the cpusa website) and then look at the Dem Party Platform. The two are virtually indistinguisable.
Presently, the Socialists in the Democrat Party are in power. The Communists are they simply waiting patiently. As we’ve learned from history, socialism is only a prelude to the Communist State (just ask the Greeks).
The Communists will take control after socialism has failed, as they know it inevitably will, and the populace is ready and willing. And the first thing the Communists will do once in power is to execute all the Socialists as “useful idiots”, just as Josef Stalin did.

The NAACP is simply trying to protect its turf and the graft its managed to carve off for itself.

And Blacks wonder why there is still so much animosity towards them in this day and age….
…and why we just can’t seem to turn the corner.

God bless those of the NCPPR and other activists that are standing up to denounce the NAACP’s latest attempt to divide/alienate the people of this country.

Mahdi Al-Dajjal – curiously, many of the American communists and anarchists find Obama reprehensible and subsequently have disassociated with him.
I’ve heard discussions by some of their theorists that Obama’s a fascist in that he believes in state ownership of private property, but still believes in private property nonetheless (whereas the communists don’t recognize it), and certainly the Obama Leviathan’s slouching toward the seizure and control of our manufacturing, financial and health care sectors, along with the SEIU infiltration of the service sectors, appears to validate that theory.
Remember that in Fascist Germany, communists and anarchists were exterminated at the concentration camps along with the Jews. The latter two knew what Hitler’s model would likely lead do, and represented competition for a conceptual alternative to the incompetent and corrupt Weimar state. The United States faces the same status – with utter incompetence and corruption pervasive in both political parties – and Obama appears to be revising fascism through a post-modern model, leveraging a minoritarian nationalist movement instead of a majoritarian. Other than that, it appears to be classic Fascism.

Looks like a battle brewing between colored people and black Americans.

Due to the lack of condemnation from the naacp for the comments made by the new black panther party , and lack of coverage from the msm I can only conclude that they support their (the nbpp) message and actions.
Mahdi Al-Dajjal commented:
Multitude, Well said.
Either way, at this point along the trajectory, I fear that lots of blood is going to have to be spilled to get us back to the Constitutional Republic our founders created. Totalitarians never relinquish power voluntarily.
And who abroad will aid us in that effort when the USA itself has fallen prey to these cretins? We may very well lose. All may already be lost and we simply just cannot wrap our minds around that realization.

Deneen Borelli is in my Tea Party group, very nice woman.
We had a meeting a few months ago and she spoke at it.
What she talked about was the terrible names she was called by other black people with regards to her views.
Think what the the NAACP said about Kenneth Gladney, yeah, like that.

NAACP FOUNDERS
[History reveals that it was three white persons that opposed
the Democrat's racist practices who started the NAACP.]
FOUNDER MARY OVINGTON (white)
[Mary Ovington did conceive of the NAACP (her name for it, according to the book Chronological History of the Negro, was originally called National Committee for the Advancement of the Negro Race). It was Miss Ovington (she was a lifelong spinster) who, along with Oswald Garrison Villard and William English Walling (both white males), on Feb. 12, 1909, sent out the "Call" to everyone they believed would be supportive of an organization that would provide blacks a new direction: integration.
Between Feb. 12, 1909, and May 1910, the future NAACP organizers held two conferences in New York City. Without question, the purpose of the first conference, which was attended by many blacks, was a desire on the part of the white organizers to see if blacks would be a receptive to the new integration agenda; and perhaps more importantly, would not protest against the societal anomaly they were suggesting. After all, integration was a complete contradiction to what currently did exist. And blacks never once marched in protest against the current living arrangements.
The first conference did allay the worries of the white organizers of black resistance.
Thus was borne the concept of racial integration, never before practiced or even conceived of in human history (W.E.B. DuBois' Niagara Movement consisted of a number of prominent black males numbering from 12 to 27 [true figure unknown] who did issue a statement demanding that white Americans commit to race-nullification, among other things. There were three meeting between 1906 and 1908, none of which amounted to anything).
As with all new and revolutionary ideas, integration was overwhelming rejected by the group that was going to be targeted for integration: the numerically and culturally dominant white population. In fact, so ingrained was the thought from virtual all the white population that blacks should be separate, and thereby achieve a feeling of self-reliance and empowerment as a people (Booker T. Washington’s desire and pursuit) that not one single philanthropist of the day would donate a dollar to help the NAACP through its formative years.]
Barack Obama is an intellectual moron
