Ahmadinejad Attacks Decadent "Paul the Octopus"

Ahmadinejad slams Paul the Ocopus–
Iranian regime President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attacked Paul the Octopus in a speech this weekend in Tehran.
The Telegraph reported:
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian leader, says Paul the Octopus, the sea creature that correctly predicted the outcome of World Cup games, is a symbol of all that is wrong with the western world.
He claims that the octopus is a symbol of decadence and decay among “his enemies”.
Paul, who lives at the Oberhausen Sea Life Centre, in Germany, won the hearts of the Spanish by predicting their World Cup victory.
He became an international star after predicting the outcome of all seven German World Cup matches accurately.
However, the Iranian president accused the octopus of spreading “western propaganda and superstition.” Paul was mentioned by Mr Ahmadinejad on various occasions during a speech in Tehran at the weekend.

If anyone here studied Hitler, you may remember how he had a penchant for getting involved in really mundane, local issues from time to time – stuff he had no business commenting on while trying to run the whole country. Very interesting comparison.

Propaganda? It is taught that Jesus did not die on the cross. To the Muslims, Jesus is a prophet. If Jesus did not die on the cross, then His own words condemn Him because Jesus prophesied His Death and thus he would be no prophet if He did not die on the tree and if He did, what say you?
