What Are Friends For?… Obama Told Netanyahu "Don't Come to White House" to Tell Your Side of Flotilla Story

Hey, what are friends for?
Barack Obama sent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu back to Israeli to tell his side of the Gaza Flotilla story. He didn’t want Israel to use the White House as a backdrop and refused to stand with Israel after the ambush on the Mavi Marmara.

Israeli National News reported:
In the hubbub surrounding the “battle of the flotilla,” Netanyahu’s quick reversal of his decision to remain in the United States has been largely ignored. It turns out that Obama told him to leave because he didn’t want Netanyahu to use the White House as a stage on which to present Israel’s side of the story.
The flotilla violence caught Netanyahu in the midst of a diplomatic trip to North America. He was in the Canadian capital of Ottawa at the time, about to leave for Washington for a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama. The meeting was to have been a way for Obama to make up for the humiliation he dealt Netanyahu on his last visit, when he refused to be seen with the Israeli leader in public.
Netanyahu announced immediately after the flotilla news broke that he would remain in North America and would meet with Obama as scheduled. However, within minutes after media reported Netanyahu would continue with his trip as scheduled, he abruptly announced a change of plan and set off immediately for Israel to “deal with the flotilla crisis.”
Behind the scenes, it was Obama officials who caused the turnabout. Globes cites sources in both Jerusalem and Washington who say that Obama officials gave a clear message to Netanyahu’s people: “Don’t come.”
Barack Obama’s close family friend Bill Ayers and political bundler Jodie Evans are top activists with the Gaza Flotilla group.

Good grief. We should just call this the Bill Ayers Boat from now on, to get the point across that there’s a strain of liberalism that isn’t really compatible with classic Jewish culture that leads a lot of people to support big government.
Obama is siding with the Bill Ayers Boat and refuses to even be seen with the Israeli leader, even though the White House asked him to come and massage Obama’s reputation with Jewish donors. It’s disgusting.
Israel is imperfect, but so are all nations. They are obviously trying to protect themselves from Gaza getting more Iranian weapons. They’ve suffered thousands of rocket attacks from Gaza.
These humanitarians were armed, wearing armor, and intended to use violence to thwart Israeli security, Bill Ayers style.

The world is tired of these troublesome Jews, 6 million — that number again — hard by the Mediterranean, refusing every invitation to national suicide. For which they are relentlessly demonized, ghettoized and constrained from defending themselves, even as the more committed anti-Zionists — Iranian in particular — openly prepare a more final solution.
In a way, this frees the Israelis to do what’s necessary to save their country. They are alone in the world except for those of us who love them and God who will never allow this to happen again.

I have not seen this anywhere but Hannity said that many of the Congressional Dems have spoke out in favor of Israel. They have said they are against Obama’s Muslim stance and that they support our ally Israel.

Everyone always imagined the US leaving the world stage in a loud bang, but we might go out with a whimper just like the Romans did. The Israelis will definitely outlast us. The goodguy always wins in the end.
I doubt Israel was offended that they weren’t invited to the whitehouse, they already know where this current whitehouse loyalties lie. They have chosen the losing side. Anyone actually believe the muslims are going to win? That sharia law will rule the world?

Daughter made an interesting comment tonight that she thought Obama was going to be a dictator type, but she said he’s not, he’s worse.
SHe said a dictator would have told Mexico’s Calderon to buzz off when Calderon started dictating US policy, but instead, Obama strolled way and left Mexico telling us all what’s what. Like America had no government at all.

It’s OK for our President to go to foreign countries and talk about how bad America has been in it’s history.

Actually, Joe, I don’t think you’re being cynical enough. Not only did Obama give the Israelis the bad advice that they should come armed with paintball guns, I expect he also tipped off the terrorists to this fact.

Instead, he should announce the opening of a new Israeli company in Arizona–to invest in the US. And he should help Gov Brewer with strategies on how to secure her border.
