Syrian President Assad: War Is Likely After Gaza Flotilla Raid

Syrian leader Assad called the current Israeli leadership a “pyromaniac government”.
He should know.
The killer Syrian regime is suspected of being behind the Hariri bombing and several others in Lebanon. On February 14, 2005 former Prime Minister of Lebanon Rafic Hariri was blown up in Beirut in a blast so massive that it killed 20 peole and left a crater in the street.
The Jerusalem Post reported:
Syrian President Bashar Assad said Israel’s attack on the Gaza aid flotilla has increased the chances of war in the Middle East, in a BBC interview on Wednesday.
Assad said that Syria was working to prevent a regional war but he added that there was no chance of a peace deal with the current Israeli administration, which he called a “pyromaniac government”.
According to the Syrian president last month’s Israeli commando assault on the Free Gaza flotilla in international waters had serious consequences. He noted that the attack on ships attempting to break Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip killed nine Turkish activists.
Israel recently set up an inquiry into the raid after rejecting a UN proposal for an international investigation.

A regional Middle East war means the near end of oil production from the region. That will be followed by a precipitous drop in agricultural production worldwide leading to worldwide famine, the death of hundreds of millions. This is what we are nearing, and we can blame the blockheads in the West for no nerve to face Muslim treachery and deception which has encouraged the Islamic jihad to push ever forward.

The Middle East Muslims don’t care. Their top priority is the annihilation of all Jews, but especially those in Israel. If they wipe out Israel and themselves in the process, that’s cool, too, since dying in the process of killing all the Jews of Israel will, according to their god’s words in the Quran, assure their admittance into heaven.
Don’t make the mistake of assuming that all the world thinks like you do or shares your values because they don’t. Pious Muslims hate Jews and infidels, but especially Jews, more than they love life itself, and they say as much.

The situation in the ME is shaping up to be a major outbreak of war in the next 6-18 months. Israel might be able to defuse it, but with the obvious antipathy of the Obama administration towards Israel I suspect that the Muslim states surrounding Israel will view this as an opportunity to attack Israel again. After all, it has been more than 35 years since the last attack which Israel survived only because of the materials assistance of the USA. Think that a simultaneous attack by Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran wouldn’t come as close as 1973?

You’re talking about people like Bin Laden and his group and groups similar to it. I’m talking about those in power who actually control the nuclear and chemical buttons and who make the decision to go to war. Don’t mix the two.
Those Arab and Persians who are in power love what they got: POWER and will not lose it because of Israel. In fact, as long as Israel exist, it’s better for them because they can incite their media to attack Israel and therefore show that they are on the side of the people and consequently preserve POWER.

As long as they don’t start believing in their own BS, things can work out. Certainly the fear that Israel will not go down without destroying their nations is possibly the only thing preventing war right now. But if the Muslims ever get into their heads that Israel will not utilize their nuclear weapons for self-defense, then the game is up.

Actually, this feeds right into Biblical prophecy. The War of Gog and Magog will according to Biblical scholars involve Syria, Turkey, Iran and Russia all attacking Israel . . . and Israel wins and the attackers will be destroyed. That War will lead to the end times.

The Arab leaders cannot afford to go to war with Israel for many reasons. Today’s world is different than 1973. And I have no doubt that these Arab tyrants and Iran know that they will lose power if they dare declaring war on Israel. The entire Middle East will be set on fire and there will be no winner even with the use of conventional weapons. Everybody knows it over there.
