It was the Republican Party that led the fight to liberate women and to promote and defend women’s rights.

Last night the the Republican Party elected several qualified and exceptional women to help lead the re-liberation.

Fiorina, Haley, Angle and Whitman scored GOP wins last night.

Five Primary Races Dominated by Republican Women Could Set Course for Midterm Elections.

More… Zombie is not so impressed.

  1. It just goes to show you that the party that represents women and minorities is really the REPUBLICAN party.

  2. Republicans do not discriminate against women who are beautiful, intelligent, logical and ethical. Unlike the Democrat Party, a woman doesn’t have to be an ugly lesbian shrew with barbaric Leftist ideals. Truly liberated women belong to the Republican Party.

  3. Congrats to all these ladies. With all due respect, that third lady needs a bit of make up and a smile. She’s rather frowny…maybe she’s thinking of the mess that the State of CA is in. It is tragic.

  4. Califronia’s Fiorina and Whitman will lose the election in November. They are another Rhino’s like Sen. John McCain and Mitt Romney. The conservatives in California will not vote for them.

  5. Since we have suffered through decade upon decade of the “good old boys” it is time to move in another direction…and that is electing these conservative women with fresh ideas, business backgrounds and a grounding in what it takes to raise a family and balance a checkbook. Another positive is that the odds of catching them with a DC hooker, cheating on their spouses or significant other with young interns are pretty much zero. How refreshing! I want the Mama Grizzlies!!

  6. Can’t wait to see the attack ads against these ladies. Anyone want to bet they’ll be scrupulously PC and women-enabling?

  7. To Anonymous: You truly think that California will elect Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown??? Then CA is worse than doomed, it will be a pathetic and tragic final chapter to a once great state. That is up to the citizens of CA, but I have faith in them….there is a tiny flame of hope that they will elect Meg Whitman who I think could potentially pull them out of the tar pit.

  8. good for these women, wish there were more, since we know all the republican men have already been castrated, we need strong women to fill the void.

  9. All Fiorina and Whitman have to do to win is head out to the Central Valley and tell the folks they’ll turn that water back on.

  10. Sleep well, President Obama — NOT!

  11. As an independent Democrat in California, I wanted to share an insight that might offer my compatriots some hope:

20% of Voting CA Democrats said — HELL NO TO BOXER!

I think Fiorina (and Whitman) have an excellent chance this November, looking at how the Democrats voted in their primary.

  12. I voted for Fiorina and Whitman. Unfortunately, in California, it would be really hard to elect a true conservative (think Palin). Whitman said she would run government as a business, and I hope she sticks to that, however she is a politician and she once threw her support to Van Jones, so I’m not holding my breath. Poizner was no angel either, though. Mickey Kaus would be better than Boxer if I had to vote Dem. Devore was a better conservative candidate than Fiorina, but Fiorina had a better chance of winning and I didn’t want to risk not voting for her and have Campbell pick up the nomination (even though he was trailing in the polls by a wide margin). I think Fiorina and Whitman have a chance because Ahhhhnold is known to be a HUGE RINO, so I don’t see people equating his failures to the Republican party (plus, Dems in CA hate Repubs with a fierce passion so moderates and independents are the ones to convince). In all fairness, though, Whitman will have to deal with a Democratic majority California legislature which means compromise. Perhaps some reverse gerrymandering is in order (California is a prime example of cutting areas that are heavy Republican and mixing them with other Republican areas, thereby eliminating more seats for Republicans). I’m also bummed about the Newsom and Maldenado race. Newsom trashed the once beautiful SF, so it’s mind-boggling that liberals are that stupid to give him another position. Maldenado is no saint, either, but most California Republicans stay home because there are many times we feel like our vote doesn’t matter, so the chances of pushing out a RINO in place of a conservative is slim. In fact, the guy I voted for had like 5% again Maldenado. It’s frustrating when you walk in the polling place and there are three stalls for Dems and one for Repubs. What does that tell you? Also, many California Republicans are more moderate and tend be left on social issues like abortion and gay marriage, so they often swing their votes to candidates that are socially left. Many California conservatives I meet actually register as Democrat, this is because they know mostly Dems will be elected, thus they want to vote for the most conversative Democrat. In California, Republicans can’t split their tickets (I know yesterday I wanted to vote for Chris Kelly since he had a better chance against Newsom, but had to settle for a lesser known Repub that didn’t stand a chance) I’m not sure if Democrats can split their tickets (I’m 90% sure they can’t). I’ve read that Independents can request a split-ticket (not sure and am leaning towards this not being true), but sometimes parties don’t allow certain votes from third parties. I believe decline to states can split as well. I’ve been too involved at national level politics to say for sure what is going on in my state, but as for Moonbeam, it’s like reelecting Carter.

  13. Great link, bg!

Angle: get the US out of the UN, abolish the Dept of Ed, and let young workers opt out of social security? I’d vote for her if I were in Nevada.
