Obama Knew From the Beginning That the Oil Would Leak For Months

Day 46–
Obama knew from the beginning that the oil leak would likely last until at least August.
Maybe that explains all the parties and golf outings?
The Daily Beast reported, via HotAir:
Carol Browner, director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy, told Obama at one of the earliest briefings in late April that the blowout would likely lead to an unprecedented environmental disaster, senior White House aides told The Daily Beast. Browner warned that capping a well at such depths had never been done before, and that they ought to expect an oil spill that would continue until a relief well was drilled in August, the aide said.
That early briefing on the scope of the spill—and enormous technical challenges involved in fixing it—might help explain the sense of fatalism that has infused Obama’s team from the start.
Little that has happened since has changed their mind-set. Now six weeks later, the president’s top advisers expect the oil spill—and the negative stories—to continue through August.

Obama doesn’t even care about an infant surviving an abortion – he’d rather the child be left in a backroom, alone, to die, because saving the child would negate the purpose of the abortion. Yep, and so did NOAA, if you saw the second day video of their meetup, once NOAA figured out there were no oil booms in federal stock, they knew the main tools for containment were reduced to dispersants. And regardless what happened at the leak, there was big trouble ahead. Surely someone told Obama the bad news about the missing oil booms.
Something to think about, the 1990 OPA is the “so it never happens again bible” after Exxon Valdez debacle. That states the company that caused the leak is responsible for fixing the leak. Once NOAA declared a national spill emergency it fell to the president to direct “containment (booms) and cleanup (skimmers)” and direct all operations. Of course he can appoint a person to direct it all, give press briefings and all.
If you remember Bush replaced the inept Brownie by Gen Honorah during Katrina.
I assume, the appointed guy for this disaster is Adm ???? …

Even if they did know, that is still no excuse to be sitting on their hands and not working to corral every possible resource to save/clean up the shorelines!

It seems as if the stuff could at least be vacuumed up along the shoreline. Especially along beaches as opposed to marshland, equipment could be operated from land.

An article on American Thinker suggests BP stop all plugging efforts and pullout. Tell Obama if he wants to make this a civil court stunt, they will leave and deal with civil court. He can have his scum back off in court or they just stop.

Please specify which freedoms have been taken away. Secondly please specify which parts of the Constitution have been subverted by President Bush.
My rights and freedoms are constantly under attack, but by the leftists in the Dimocrat party, the Statists, the watermellons and other power seekers. I don’t recall any of my freedoms being removed by President Bush. Which Executive Order did that? Perhaps you’re referring to something done by the Congress? You do know that Congress makes the laws don’t you?
