Obama Administration's Bum Advice Put Israeli Soldiers in Extreme Danger

Never trust a man for advice on a Gaza flotilla who lives in a world of jihadist denial.
A “peace activist” on the Mavi Marmara tells the cameraman that he wants to be a “shahid” (martyr for Allah).
Via the IDF website:
The courageous Israeli soldiers who landed on the Mavi Marmara mercenary ship on Monday opened up to the press about the horrific ambush.
The Jerusalem Post reported:
When St.-Sgt. S. fast-roped down from an air force Black Hawk helicopter onto the Mavi Marmara Turkish passenger ship on Monday morning, he did not expect to be landing in what he called “a battlefield” and facing off against a group of “murderous mercenaries.”
The 15th and last naval commando from Flotilla 13 (the Shayetet) to rappel down onto the ship from the helicopter, S. said on Thursday that he was immediately attacked by what the IDF has called “the mob of mercenaries” aboard the vessel, just like the soldiers who had boarded just before him.
Looking to his side, he saw three of his commanders lying wounded – one with a gunshot wound to the stomach and another with a gunshot wound to the knee. A third was lying unconscious; his skull was fractured by a devastating blow with a metal bar.
As the next in the chain of command, S., who has been in the Shayetet for three and a half years, immediately took charge.
He pushed the wounded soldiers up against the wall of the upper deck and created a perimeter of soldiers around them to begin treating their wounds, he said. He then arranged his men to form a second perimeter, and pulled out his 9 mm. Glock pistol to stave off the charging attackers and to protect his wounded comrades.
The attackers had already seized two pistols from the commandos, and fired repeatedly at them. Facing more than a dozen of the mercenaries, and convinced their lives were in danger, he and his colleagues opened fire, he said. S. singlehandedly killed six men. His colleagues killed another three.
On Thursday, S. sat down with The Jerusalem Post at the Shayetet’s base in northern Israel for an exclusive interview, during which he described the dramatic events aboard the Mavi Marmara on Monday; he is being considered for a medal of valor.
Also, 9 mil bullet casings not of the sort used by the Israelis were recovered.
But, it didn’t have to be this way.
The Israeli soldiers were not expecting their jihadist welcoming committee thanks in part to the Obama administration. Team O urged Israel to use caution and restraint with the “aid” boats heading to Gaza.

“We communicated with Israel through multiple channels many times regarding the flotilla,” P.J. Crowley, a State Department spokesman, said in a statement issued in response to a question from The Washington Post. “We emphasized caution and restraint given the anticipated presence of civilians, including American citizens.”
One wonders whether the Washington Post reporters followed up for details or, if not, why not. This may be an explosive key to why the snafu at sea.
Israelis, Americans, the world deserves an answer to whether and, if so, to what extent Obama administration admonitions created the conditions that allowed thugs afloat to damage Israel and encourage Hamas’ ruthless terror of Gazans and of Israelis.
As Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on Wednesday, “This was not a ‘Love Boat’, it was a hate boat.” Another question to be answered: Was he influenced by the Obama administration admonitions and, if so, specifically how?
Thanks in part to the bad advice from the Obama Administration, the Israeli soldiers had no idea that they were being lowered into the lion’s den when they dropped down on the Mavi Marmara.

Anyone get the link to the 9mm shell casings to work?
The Israelis use 9×19 (most of the world does). Might be steel-cased, which comes out of the Eastern bloc, is very cheap but will break internals like extractors.
I would bet the Israelis use brass cases to keep their weapons functioning long term. Steel cases on the boat would indicate somebody besides Israelis was firing 9mm and didn’t realize they were giving the game away…too clever by half.

Congressional hearings. WHat did Obama know and when did he know it? A former US ambassador was on board, playing tool. Israel is an ally. There are reports of prominent US Left radical being involved in the financing – people who are close to Obama. This should have been very easy for our intel services to track, so many people and elements were involved, ESPECIALLY when one player is NATO Turkey and the other ally Israel. “Set-up” hardly captures the depth of it.
Obviously, Pelosi won’t allow anything while she’s Speaker, but this is absolutely the American People’s right to investigate how the current administration is handling US foriegn policy and if it’s being dangerously duplicitous with a US ally.
One wonder if this was the reason Obama HAD to be in Chicago over Memorial Day, huddling in the familiar comforts of his Farrakhan, Ayers neighborhood instead of DC.

Just as I suspected. I never heard Obama speak out against the terrorist/anti-Israeli flotilla beforehand. He didn’t show one iota of leadership. All he had to do is say “America supports the blockade of Iranian weapons going into Gaza” and Turkey would have thought twice about sending their terrorist boats.
But now as it turns out, Obama was telling Israel to take it easy on the terrorists through private channels.
Obama took sides, and he threw in with the terrorists against Israel!
Israel is now officially on their own. Obama sides with the Palistinians and Muslims against the Jews.
