He Overturned Obama’s Drilling Moratorium – Now He Must Die
Yesterday, Judge Martin Feldman ruled against Obama’s misguided moratorium on deep water drilling.
Last night he received his first death threats.

New Orleans–While many Americans undoubtedly agree with the decision of U.S. District Court Judge Martin Feldman to overturn the Obama administration’s moratorium on deep water drilling, not everyone is happy. In fact, the Judge is now receiving death threats in the aftermath of his bold ruling.
Last night, Feldman served as a celebrity judge at a cooking contest at a school gymnasium in Uptown New Orleans. Due to the threats, Feldman was accompanied by a federal marshal security team.
It is a sad indictment of our society today that a judge with such a sterling record of integrity and service to his country would be subject to such threats. Feldman was appointed to the federal bench by President Reagan in 1983. Today, he is in the eye of a political hurricane unlike anything he has ever experienced.
In issuing his ruling, Feldman said that the moratorium was faulty because there was no “rational connection between the facts found and the choice made.” While there is often debate about the merits of judicial decisions, seldom does the criticism focus on the integrity of the judge.
The Obama Administration lost its oil drilling ban today.

giamby, one of the good things about our system some of the time is that the Judiciary is independent of both the Executive and the Legislative branches of the federal government. Federal judges cannot be fired.

Why can’t we charge registered Democrats 40 cents a kilowatt for electricity and 10$ a gallon for gasoline right now today? John McCain brags that he saw corruption in Washington, only thing wrong is he wont name names, and he reaches across to the ones that are corrupting. You can’t see corruption and not know who is corrupting, unless of course you’re one of them. The RINOS need to be replaced now. Fox News is reporting that President Obama and the Democrat leadership are considering an Executive Order that would grant amnesty to 11,000,000+ illegal immigrants if their comprehensive immigration bill fails to pass through the Congress.

Well it is serious enough that eight Republican Senators (Inhofe, Isakson, Cochran, Vitter, Hatch, Bunning, Chambliss and Grassley) sent a letter to the White House asking President Obama to abandon any plans to do this.
