Anti-Semite Farrakhan Wants Jews to Apologize to Blacks For "Centuries of Abuse"

Anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan blamed Jews for financial ruin of blacks.
Farrakhan claims Jews for centuries have worked to financially undermine Black people.
Disgusting. Radical Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan sent a letter to Jewish leaders asking them to repair the damage they have caused blacks for centuries.
The Washington Examiner reported:
Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan has written the leaders of more than a dozen major U.S. Jewish groups and denominations seeking “repair of my people from the damage” he claims Jews have caused blacks for centuries.
Farrakhan sent the letter along with two books from the Nation of Islam Historical Research Team that the 77-year-old minister said prove “an undeniable record of Jewish Anti-Black behavior,” starting with the slave trade and Jim Crow laws.
“We could charge you with being the most deceitful so-called friend, while your history with us shows you have been our worst enemy,” he wrote.
Farrakhan has long accused Jews of wrongdoing in speeches, but he has rarely addressed Jewish groups so directly in writing.
The Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights group which distributed copies of the letter, said in a statement Tuesday that Farrakhan’s “anti-Semitism is obsessive, diabolical and unrestrained. He has opened a new chapter in his ministry where scapegoating Jews is not just part of a message, but the message.”

The real history they don’t teach you in school is that blacks were sold into slavery by other blacks. One tribe in Africa would capture members of other tribes and sell them. Blacks are not innocent in the practice of slavery.

You’re 1) 30 years out of date, and 2) Jews back then didn’t own those businesses to be “parasitic,” but to make a living. Farrakhan isn’t loved or listened to by the majority of blacks. He’s essentially a cult leader, with a very small, deluded following. Most of his financing is foreign, and he has nothing good to say about Christian leaders, or Christians in general.
There’s no point in articles like this, except to put him out there like some sort of booegyman. He’s no more a leader for ordinary black folks than Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson, both of whom are media creations.
Just once I’d like to see a quote or article from someone positive in the black community, and there are many of those voices. Look at TD Jakes or Bishop Blake out of LA. Check out the congregations that run food banks and after-school programs.
I don’t expect us all to hold hands and sing, but hate doesn’t move anyone forward.

Jessie and Al, on the other hand, are always good for a sound bite, so lazy journalist use them as the voices of black america. They are not. They are self-promoting opportunist that don’t speak for anyone that I know. Neither could win a local election, much less a national one.

Wanumba, yes, the slave trade was run by Moslems, and was an Islamic enterprise, beginning with Arabia’s conquest of its Christian/Jewish/pagan neighbors, and lasting—well, until the present day! It was big business in Islam, and much of their economy was based on it.

We lived five years in Mauritania where slavery was openly practiced. We arrived in 1984. Slavery was officially “outlawed” in 1981, but the last open slave sale was 1985. Ahem.
We actually knew people who were slaves.
If we went back to Mauritania today, we could point out immediately to a new comer who is a slave and who isn’t.

Black Mauritanians would complain bitterly how the international community was all focused on apartheid, yet actual slavery is worse, and not a shred of interest or support.
So, the Left used the fight against apartheid to establish socialism and communism. Wasn’t about “social justice” at all, just an angle to work in the hard Left.
Sudanese ex-slaves have today remarked that it’s the same. Bishop Tutu talks social justice and does squat for slaves. Socialism is his god.
