It Begins… Mexican Drug Cartel Openly Threatens Arizona Police Force (Video)

The Mexican drug cartel warned Arizona police officers this week to look the other way when they are off duty or face sniper fire.
These foreign criminals are now openly threatening our law enforcement officers here in America.
The Sierra Vista Herald reported, via Free Republic:
A Mexican drug cartel has threatened Nogales police officers, saying they will be targeted for retribution if they conduct off-duty busts.
Nogales Police Chief Jeffrey Kirkham told the Nogales International late last week that the threats stemmed from an incident approximately two weeks ago, when off-duty officers surprised marijuana smugglers while riding horseback in an unincorporated border area east of town. The officers seized part of the drug load, and the smugglers were able to flee back into Mexico with the other part.
“As a result of that,” Kirkham said, “our officers have received threats from the cartel that they are to look the other way if they are off duty, or they will be targeted by a sniper or by other means.”
NPD learned of the threats through informants, he said.
Following the threats, Kirkham said, NPD notified the Border Patrol and other federal law enforcement agencies, which responded by stepping up manpower and surveillance in the area where the off-duty bust occurred. In addition, Kirkham met with his officers to advise them of the threats and to authorize them to take precautions, including wearing firearms while off duty.
“The Nogales Police Department will not be intimidated,” he said.
Kirkham said the threats highlighted the need for more federal law enforcement at the border. “This has nothing to do with SB 1070 or illegal immigration,” he said, “it has to do with narco-trafficking and the violence of the cartels.”

When you think about it, not only is America not sealing their southern border, but neither is Mexico. The U.S./Canada border is pretty much sealed because both co-operate in this regard. If Canada was on your southern border, you wouldn’t have a problem. Mexico doesn’t seem to be held accountable in this regard whatsoever.
Aren’t the U.S. troops over in Afghanistan and Iraq to keep the terrorists out of the States, but while away, the terrorists flood in unabated – it doesn’t make sense.

It’s not at all weird. Very predicatable once you know how this game is being played. SB1070 is solid law. THe strategy to defeat it is mob rule and painful economic arm twisting. Obama is poisoning the public water with Democratic Party mayors announcing boycotts in the hopes of encouraging more boycotts (their own boycotts are worthless – San Franscisco? total B.S. Some city in OHIO is boycotting. B.S for P.R.)
Obama says he’s POTUS and doesn’t “do” boycotts, but his rhetoric praises actions against AZ while his administration uses words like “unconstitutional,” “racist” and the dishonest media colludes by opening every report on the law as “racist” and “controversial”. Obama and the Dems let Mexico’s Calderon spew in Congress, and Calderon is getting the green light from HILLARY “I am the Secretary of State” CLinton via Ecuadoran TV that starting the legal attack is now okay. (SB1070 goes into effect at the end of July). It’ll take TIME, but most importantly MONEY for a close to bankrupt AZ to defend itself (courtesy of quitter AZ big spending Dem Governor Quitter Janet Napolitano (Q) for quitter.) An economic drain on AZ government as Democrats turn the screws with boycotts, and bus in out of state street agitators to smash things in the streets, throw bottles at cops, and smear refried bean swastikas on the capitol building (a tactic that backfired because people don’t know if it was stupidity or high farce).
“Racism” is the only sin permitted to jack violence against by the teaching of the Liberal Left. The Dems been layering it on THICK amongst the Mexican foreigner population residing illegally in AZ. Racist racist racist racist. 1960s racists cops are constantly evoked.
SO Democrats are demonizing AZ and AZ law enforcement thru evoking DEMOCRAT SOUTHERNERS of the 1960s. Now we know why the Democrat Party NEA got hold of history standards, to wipe the Democratic Party’s slaving, racist guilt off the books.
Obama is actively violating his POTUS Constitutional duty to “PRESERVE DOMESTIC TRANQUILLITY” by using all political and economic hammers available to set other states against AZ and to pound and terrorize AZ into submitting and recinding the 100% legal bill.
This next six weeks are going to be increasing physical pressure – increasing ugly on AZ. AZ law enforcement has already bitterly complained at how they have been totally maligned by the Democratic Party politicians’ accusations that they are racist. OBama doesn’t have a big gooey oil well spew in central AZ to make AZ residents cry, but he’s got a big illegal population who’ve been jacked by the Obama DOL that they have “Rights” and the media is heavy-handed implying that meany AZ “white” racists are trying to take their “rights” away.
The Democratic Party is staging for violence.

Why would it be okay to use it legal or not if drugs make people egotistically, pathologically self-centered?

This thread got derailed. You can legalize drugs when this country can step over the addicts without feeling compulsion to save them. When babies can be taken from drug addled mothers and put up for adoption. When you get ten years for driving under the influence. Basically, you can use any drug you want as long as it does not endanger or financially penalize those that do not. That is what stops legalization, you want drugs without complete responsibility.
