Figures. Obama Will Hold Talks With Ahmadinejad But Not With BP

Barack Obama unabashedly announced during the 2008 Campaign that he would be willing to meet with the world’s worst dictators including the Iranian Preisident Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez from Venezuela and Kim Jong Il from North Korea in his first year in office “without preconditions.”
Yesterday, Barack Obama told Today host Matt Lauer that he won’t talk with the BP CEO.

If you need a demonstration of federal government run a muck incompetence, I suggest reading the WSJ series on how the well blew out. What waivers were given, categorical BO environmental waiver, from the very first approval of a unsafe well design for the well … onward. It’s chilling how regulations were shunned and changes rubber stamped. Shows what porn watching government workers is all about.
Can’t wait to see when it is that someone picks up on Obama’s campaign cash for MMS waivers scheme.

Obama won’t talk to the CEO because Obama has no idea what to say. Obama has ZERO experience doing such things. He’d rather air his laundry in public than go face to face with an actual business leader.

Really, there is no reason for the two to physically meet. Obama should stay out of the business aspect of this (including meeting with the CEO). If BP is not following the laws that are in place, the courts should deal with him, not Obama.

Obama can’t talk with the BP head but the guy is SMARTER than Obama. It would become obvious early on that Obama had no clue about what was going on, just like the last several meetings he had with healthcare executives. Remember? One assistant came out of the meetings saying that it was so bad his bosses felt almost sorry for Obama saying he must have been “ill advised’ by his people?
How stupid or ignorant is Obama of the real life situations in this world? He said openly that if he were in charge of BP he’d fire the CEO. Hey dummy, try to follow the bouncing ball for a second. If you are in charge of a company you ARE the CEO!
Like I said in my post if America were a company Obama would be considered the CEO and he’d be fired a long time ago for poor performance. This is what is really upsetting Obama. These problems he faces are getting in the way of him transforming this nation into a communist-lite government.
You think he’s acting foolish now. Let’s take one of the two houses from him in November and watch his head spin.

O had no problem hauling in insurance and banking CEOs…did he haul in auto CEOs too…to tell them how things are going to be. O even made them pay for their own lunch I recall. Is he losing his confidence? Is this a consequence of meetings such as those he’s had with major CEOs (not insurers) who told him how disastrous the health care bill was for them? I recall one lobbyist saying that his CEO was courteous and polite as he could be to the Pres, but the Pres insisted the CEO was lying about the burdens and impractibility of the health care bill. The CEO was embarrassed for the Pres b/c the Pres was so ignorant.
He doesn’t believe a word they say; but he’d negotiate with evil itself. What a maroon. God help us all with this guy in charge!
