Spoken like a true leftist radical…

Tyranny is fine with her. She doesn’t have to comply with the regulations.
If you haven’t you should read here paper “Presidential Administration” how the president administers tyranny with the oppressive bureaucracy … the very same that is doing so well in the Gulf.
When do we file criminal negligence against the federal government?
Opus #6 commented:
She sounds awful. No problem taking away our rights.
chili palmer commented:
Scott Brown formally introduced her today to the judiciary. He did more than that, he gushed over her. Great news for the far left and another loss for the people.
TalkinKamel commented:
um, how do we know they’re not going to enforce it?
Once something becomes law, they can enforce it all they like!
Fuzzlenutter commented:
When is the Left going to go after Kagan like they rabidly went after Palin when she was accused of supposedly (and incorrectly) wanting to ban certain books?
I know, I know. That was a rhetorical question…

Why are these Democrats so mindless?
Why are they pushing the worst of all upon us?
And why have Americans enabled this folly for so long?
Didn’t the Ginsberg appointment via the disastrous Clinton Experience teach anyone anything?
Kagan is a pure political player, the worst of the Clintonites.
It is truly insulting for all Americans to have someone like this appointed to the Supreme Court.

Lord, when is this nightmare ever going to end???

Steve McDuffy #10,
I was going to write…”This is a nightmare!”… Read through the posts, yours is the last one….
Great minds, eh?
I don’t know if we will ever recover. In the setting of eternity, this really pales, so I am concentrating on that.
Jaimo commented:
Ok, here’s the catty comment of the day. Doesn’t she look a lot like Patton Oswalt?
jonyjoe101 commented:
The full body “burka” was made to be worn by a woman like Kagen.
averagemelon commented:
Books are people. She wants the government to have the full RIGHT to shut people up. Use FORCE if necessary.
Gee, I wonder where that will lead….
pat commented:
Good point, #6, about ACTUAL banning of books.
The woman can’t even pronounce words properly.
It is clear the Supreme Court justices are stunned and horrified by her small mindedness (to put it nicely- I don’t want to say, “stupidity”)in the recorded segment.
militant conservative commented:
go ahead and try, my wife and i will die free.

Was this from the Citizens United case? No wonder she lost.

She was just kidding. She loves books.

Elena is a dead ringer for Patton Oswalt. However, her facial resemblance to yale professor Donald Kagan is so remarkable the republicans should be demanding a DNA test. Here is a picture of Donald Kagan’s warty face … http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_sW65ilskOC8/SnrVALkIkKI/AAAAAAAAZIs/hCgEe7rBRP0/s400/DonaldKaganPortrait.gif … and here is a closeup of Elena . Makeup and cosmetic surgery cannot hide the large warts on her face in almost the exact same locations…
http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2010/5/10/1273478804173/Elena-Kagan-former-Dean-o-006.jpg Then compare Donald and Elena to the face of KGB master spy Joseph Kagan…. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/10/03/article-1217834-00169CCA00000258-267_224x423.jpg We are about to appoint a 3rd generation communist spy to the US Supreme Court, and all the republicans care about is her on campus recruitment policy for the military. Several months to do in depth research, and republicans are stuck on the same impotent talking points from day one.
Andrew B commented:
What is important to remember is that what she means is subtly different than what she says. What she means is that it is OK for the government to ban books that she doesn’t want to read anyway.
It is the same defense the Left raises when Constitutional rights are in question. They only want to defend rights they personally wish to enjoy. The others–those nasty ones about religion and guns–can be safely done away with.
regularguy commented:
Her arguments are abject sophistry; how much does she make to be so mediocre using arguments as such before the SCOTUS? Out of 300,000,000 people, mostly legal, can’t we find someone better than her to be solicitor general? I know everyone has bad days, but holy crap! this is pathetic.
Hell must not only be a place of pure evil, but of manifest madness. Liberalism is pure madness, hence what I can only conclude is equally evil. This madness overtaking our country is unmitigated at this point.
Josh Reiter commented:
Isn’t this the same kind of crazy logic that went into the penalty for not buying into Obamacare? According to the Obama administration you will get a tax penalty for not buying health insurance coverage, but nobody is going to enforce the penalties if you don’t pay. Yea right!

‘A Pattern of Socialist Associations’:
Obama’s Supreme Court Nominee, Elena Kagan (the Early Years)
[If Elena Kagan is a moderate, why then has she long associated with people connected to three interrelated organizations: the Communist Party USA, the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee/Democratic Socialists of America, and the far-left Washington, DC think tank, Institute for Policy Studies?
[..]
In her undergraduate thesis at Princeton, entitled “To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933,” Kagan lamented the decline of socialism in the country as “sad” for those who still hope to “change America.” She asked why the “greatness” of socialism was not reemerging as a major political force:
In our own times, a coherent socialist movement is nowhere to be found in the United States. Americans are more likely to speak of a golden past than of a golden future, of capitalism’s glories than of socialism’s greatness. Why, in a society by no means perfect, has a radical party never attained the status of a major political force? Why, in particular, did the socialist movement never become an alternative to the nation’s established parties?
“Americans are more likely to speak of a golden past than of a golden future, of capitalism’s glories than of socialism’s greatness,” she wrote in her thesis. “Conformity overrides dissent; the desire to conserve has overwhelmed the urge to alter. Such a state of affairs cries out for explanation.”
Kagan called the story of the socialist movement’s demise “a sad but also a chastening one for those who, more than half a century after socialism’s decline, still wish to change America … In unity lies their only hope.”]
and just a reminder re:
The Obama Socialist / Marxist / Communist Reader
More Proof of Obama’s Socialism.
In 1996 he ran as member of New Party
[Obama won his State Senate seat as a member of the New Party, an extreme left wing group run by a former Jesse Jackson campaign manager. Its mind-blowing that Obama could have got to the top of the Democrat ticket without at one wise man screening him. Well the Dems made this bed, now they must live with these shocking truths about the type of communist-like changes Obama would bring to the America.]
New Party Online News – Elections Update
[Illinois: The first NP member heads to Congress, as Danny Davis wins an overwhelming 85% victory yesterday (he got a higher percentage of the vote in that district than the President). NP member and State Senate candidate Barack Obama won uncontested. Interestingly, it appears that the local Democratic machine is trying to distance itself from our folks. At a "Democratic Unity" march on Chicago's West Side, a flyer invited community members to join with a host of local democratic candidates. The only two west-side Democrats not listed: NP members Danny Davis (U.S. House candidate) and Michael Chandler (Alderman and Ward Committeeman).]
