Dodd on Financial Takeover: "No One Will Know Until It's Actually In Place How It Works"

Chris Dodd told reporters this about his financial takeover bill today:
“No one will know until this is actually in place how it works. But we believe we’ve done something that has been needed for a long time. It took a crisis to bring us to the point where we could actually get this job done.”
Let’s see… Where have we heard that line before?
What a nightmare.
Today’s piece of socialist trash passed through committee on straight party lines. House negotiators voted a party line 20-11 in favor of the final agreement; senators voted 7-5.

Dodd should be in jail for his involvement in creating the financial mess the US is in right now, not in a position to make it even worse. I remember Nancy Pelosi saying she wanted to take our individual retirement funds away from us and turn them into annuities — deciding for us how much we all deserved to get each year of retirement because it was unfair for private people to scrimp and save for themselves and not share it with others. I bet we will find that plan in the bill.

You wouldn’t know this but until Oilbama was planted in the White House, I was never one for conspiracy theories. I didn’t bother myself with that kind of thing and I trusted that those who govern us would screw things up some, but not so much that anything would be ruined for good or broken beyond repair. I was never paranoid of the government, be it local, state or federal.
For the last year and a half, however, it’s a complete 180 for me. I hate being paranoid and untrusting and so worried all of the time. I wouldn’t be this way if the current regime would at least be sneakier in their conspiracies. You know what I mean. They don’t even try to cover their tracks or hide their evil intentions. They lie, of course, but their actions are so out in the open that if you listen to their actions instead of their words, as I do, it’s so “in your face!”
