Slimy Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) was just caught running a fake tea party candidate, Victoria Torres, in the state House district 51 race.
Torres is a Grayson stooge.

Grayson has a history of spouting off vile accusations against Republicans.
Roll Call reported, via FOX Nation:
One of Rep. Alan Grayson’s pollsters is running for the state House in Florida as a Tea Party candidate, fueling Republican suspicions that the Democratic Congressman is using to a newly formed third party to boost his own re-election bid.
On Friday, Victoria Torres, 44, of Orlando qualified to run as a Tea Party candidate in state House district 51 in the last hours of the qualifying period.
A call to Torres was returned by Nick Egoroff, communications director for the Florida Tea Party, who described Torres as a “quasi-paralegal assistant who works in a law office.” But apparently, Torres is also a pollster.
According to records from the Florida Department of State office, Torres incorporated Public Opinion Strategies Inc. in December 2008. In the first quarter of this year, Grayson’s campaign made two payments to her firm, totaling $11,000, for polling and survey expenses.

Just by the last name you can tell it was not a true tea party candidate.
As an American with a hispanic background, I would seriously investigate any hispanic candidate that claimed to be a republican, they are very rare. Extremely rare.
Hook them up to a lie detector just to be sure.
Jenny commented:
jonyjoe101, your comment is well taken but I find that it depends on which country the hispanics came from and their educational background. For example 95% of my family (we are hispanics) are Republicans the 5% which isn’t has more to do with when they arrived in this country and their background.

I expect we’ll see more of these stunts. The Dems are desperate to hang onto power.

You should not draw conclusions over the name Torres. I have cousins in Michigan with that name and they are 50%Australian and 50%American.
Anyhow I think that this attempt by Grayson is despicable. It is the same as Harry Reid

Representative Grayson has said in the past that he works for all Americans. The people who really care for this country should all mail him letters and send him emails and call his office to let him know our disgust. His employees will be swamped with all the incoming communications. Sir, you are a disgrace.

Don’t actually believe comment #1 is legit.
That’s ludicrous. I know so many Hispanics who are Tea Partiers. You can’t go to a rally without seeing many of them. They have polled these rallies and they are very similar to the US makeup in all ways, from age to sex to race, with the exception that there are proportionally fewer blacks.
Hispanics are no different from others. They too agree with the Tea Party’s main point: government is spending too much money to be sustainable. Now, many of them don’t even realize this is the Tea Party’s main point, thanks in large part to the MSM machine.
There’s no reason to suspect a hispanic of not being Republican, generally, though of course in this case that is not the reason we’re suspicious of the obvious Grayson stooge.

Harry Reid is pulling the same trick in Nevada. This seems to be part of the Democrat play book, probably learned from the success of Mr. Obama’s hiding his real background, real politics, real friends, real religion and real backers. Next it will be ACORN registering the dead, the ‘Black Panthers at the polling places and Union Thugs breaking heads. Thug politics from a thug.
Don Meaker commented:
Democrats have one policy during campaigns. They lie. They have another set of policies if elected. They steal, embezzle, and enslave. How shameful!

jonyjoe, you may not have heard of Babalu Blog, but surely Marco Rubio rings a bell? Yes, there are Hispanic Republicans, Tea Partiers, conservatives, and libertarians. I say this as an Irish-American who detests the Kennedys.
Pat the First commented:
I live in a community with a huge hispanic population. I can tell you not every hispanic is in the bag for B.O. In fact, you will find that at least half of them oppose him and everything he says.
Now if the person is both hispanic and a union member . . . that is a different story.

So, excuse the change of subject, but what’s the deal with Meg Whitman’s flip-flops, now that she’s won the primary?

Florida Tea Party commented:
Excuse me, but that is not a “fake Tea Party candidate” – it is a Tea Party candidate that is causing great concern to the local Republican and Democratic Parties. Peg Dunmire, the first congressional delegate for the Florida Tea Party, is running against Alan Greyson to try to unseat him – and she is going to win. The Florida Tea Party is currently putting pressure on both the Democratic and Republican parties in Florida. Of the 17 candidates that the Florida Tea Party has put forth to run in Florida state-level races, 6 have been threatened by Republican operatives, or have been smeared as being Greyson “stooges.” For those in the Tea Party movement, this is not at all the Nevada ruse that Harry Reid tried to use – this is a real Tea Party “party” that is fighting for fiscal responsibility and originalist interpretations of the constitution. If you want to find out more, contact Peg Dunmire so you get the real story.
Jupiter commented:
@jonyjoe101 you obviously do not live in Texas where we have a HUGE Hispanic population and yet Republicans rule the state. I am Latino from Puerto Rico and I have always been a conservative as is everyone else in my family. I have attended a couple of Tea Party events in Houston and there was lots of minorities there. In my experience Hispanics are generally conservative. The fact that Dems are masters of ‘word’ and, able to convince so many that life is better on their Plantation, is something to be admired but, also proves that Grayson is not even a good Democrat. lol
The Tea Party movement is the best hope i have seen that shows the true color of conservatism, brown, black, white…
jainphx commented:
Here in Arizona where we just enacted into law the toughest anti illegals bill, we have 78% in favor. You can’t reach this number without SUBSTANTIAL Hispanic support. Lets not disparage, with a wide brush, our brothers and sisters in that community. Legal Hispanic support the bill by 58%. they also lose jobs to lowballing illegals, and with their taxes, support the freeloaders.

Florida Tea Party, I don’t think the article is impugning your party’s legitimate efforts. Seems this Torres person was “signed up” by Grayson, not the Tea Party. It also seems she’s a Dem. political operative of some sort.

I for one beleive Meg is using the tactic I would. Our opponent believes in the end justifies the means and so do I in this case. We’re looking at extiction and mass death if these bastards get in. Mark, the original comment was dumb. Sometimes dumb comments don’t deserve to be dignified. Grayson is a pig. He is not right in the head. Since Obama’s election the nuttiest of the nutty in elected office have felt free to spout their Marxist and Libtard hate with impunity. I can smell November.

How The Florida Tea Party Might Help Alan Grayson In November
[Dunmire, though, was not as concerned about this prospect: "I find it appalling. We live in the United States, where we believe in the free-market system. But when it comes to politics, competition is bad."
The Florida Tea Party, as we previously reported, has troubles of its own. It's being sued by members of the local tea party movement for co-opting the "Tea Party" name to form a political party "supported by well-funded GOP operatives and others bent on the destruction of the tea party movement."]
