After beating up on Wall Street fat cats the last month, Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi will attend a swank high-dollar fundraiser at the St. Regis hotel on Thursday after speaking to factory workers in Buffalo.
And, it seems like it was just yesterday that he was bashing Wall Street fat cats to the media.
The New York Daily News reported:
President Obama has been happy to beat up on Wall Street “fat cats,” but tonight he’ll be even happier to take their money.
The President is slated to headline a superswank, $50,000-per-couple fund-raiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee at Manhattan’s gilded St. Regis hotel on Fifth Ave.
The high-dollar affair will feature fine French food, a bevy of Wall Street titans and 23 Congress members – including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
Not everyone is thrilled that Obama and Pelosi are looking to use New York as a campaign ATM at the same time that they are trying to rein in Wall Street, the city’s biggest job and tax generator by far.
At least one ex-congressional campaign committee giver said he’s decided to boycott the event and will send his money to the GOP instead.
“I’m a New Yorker first,” said the once loyal Dem, who asked to remain anonymous out of fear of inciting the White House. “We are depending on our congresspeople to defend New York, not to just go along with Nancy Pelosi for the ride.”

This trip isn’t what it seems. They’ve both (he and wifey) been wanting an excuse to hit the big Apple for a three or four day weekend at the taxpayers expence..

If he can disguise a trip(call it fact finding, fund raising, showing appreciation, etc, etc..) they can pig out on New Yawk dining out and nightlife and no one is the wiser.
Congress mails their constituents mail at taxpayer expence( theycall it Franking) and a more apt description they couldn’t have labeled it. Yep, right up the old taxpayers’ wazoo like a well known Massachusetts Congressman’s last name. “Frank the constituents, frank ‘em all”!

Obama bashed Wall Street at Cooper Union in NYC in April. In attendance were Bloomberg, Schumer and Gillibrand and others. Days after that bashing there was another Wall Street fundraisers with those same people. The Socialist/Dems control Wall Street. With Senator Dodds bill they want to control it more. This is basically protection money. Obama says “Nice little street you got here. It’d be a shame if anything happened to it.” They say “How much do you want?”

Did you ever think Wall Street is in on the charade. They have allowed themselves to be beat up as a ruse? I don’t trust Wall Street anymore than Obama. I think both players participated in a heist of the US Treasury.

What an arsehat Obama is. Never seen an opportunity for self-profit he could pass on. Who would be surprised to find they’re in bed with each other. No one, lol, because we’ve come to expect SO much from these clowns.
Good to see Michelle passing on her perverbial peice of the pie. Giving up is the hardest thing to do… I do hope she watched her intake while out dining.
