Scientists Find Giant Plumes of Oil Under Gulf… Obama Shoots Hoops

Scientists found plumes of oil under the surface of the Gulf this week including at least one that is 10 miles long.
The New York Times reported today:
Scientists are finding enormous oil plumes in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, including one as large as 10 miles long, 3 miles wide and 300 feet thick in spots. The discovery is fresh evidence that the leak from the broken undersea well could be substantially worse than estimates that the government and BP have given.
“There’s a shocking amount of oil in the deep water, relative to what you see in the surface water,” said Samantha Joye, a researcher at the University of Georgia…
President Obama rebuked BP for their efforts yesterday.

This a all very simple; the way to not “waste” this crisis is to allow it to consume BP, Halliburton, and Transocean. This fits perfectly with Barry’s plans to reduce America to a third rate power. His detachment is essential to this plan.
Elimination of as much petroleum as possible works perfectly for the socialist utopia they have planned for us. They will stop at nothing,
even if it results in long standing damage to the gulf. We are just pawns in this process; the lawyers are not golfing or playing hoops, they are preparing the assault. Buckle up!

I used to smoke in my twenties. I could not keep up with the flow of the basketball game. People were flying by me. I don’t understand our president. He smokes. How can he compete? I quit smoking many years ago. I run and complete marathons now. Six miles a day. I would love to play basketball against our president. I mean come on!, he has to release stress, be healthy about it. Geez. I hope he is not just standing on the wing waiting for someone to pass the ball to him

I would prefer Junior stick to things he can sort of handle, or that get him out of the decision-making loop. This is most likely a benefit.
An incompetent who feels he has to make judgements about things he never could understand on his best day ever will always make things worse. Junior cannot admit to being incompetent, and would likely tell BP to find out if Hugo Chavez has some people who could help. He is that dumb.
That he plays golf or basketball rather than try to deal with matters which he cannot possibly add constructively to in their resolution…this is a good thing for decisions and another reason the man never should have been hired in the first place.

This has been going on forever. It’s natural. 30 years ago when I started working in Oceanography I saw a fathometer printout showing a huge plume of oil leaking into the water column. There are many of these in the gulf. There are many off the shore of southern California. This is natural and is cleaned up by bacteria.

What can he do anyway? He has no experience of any significance. He never led anything or anybody, never served in the military or in any emergency response capacity…he probably never learned CPR, for crying out loud. He doesn’t know anything, and if he does we can’t find out because he won’t release any information about his education or background. His biggest case as a lawyer was the case of the cheated babysitter. This is a guy who will panic and faint if he is ever faced with a serious crisis.

Major Garrett was on FBC talking to Imus this morning. He recounted a fascinating sequence of events regarding this oil spill. You need to get the video.
Btw, he also says that BO has been giving a great deal of support to Blanche Lincoln behind the scenes. Garrett says she will squeak through her primary.
