Republican Len Britton has a real winner with his first short video spot. Britton focuses on voter disgust with Washington’s record spending and debt. Len Britton is running against far left liberal Patrick Leahy.
This ad really nails voter disgust with the out of touch Washington progressive socialists.

United States Senate candidate Len Britton kicks off his campaign ad season with the witty and entertaining short video Get A Paper Route, Billy. Filmed in rural Vermont, the minute and thirty second spot highlights the national debt crisis with down home Yankee humor.

  1. Leaky Leahy should be in prison, not in congress. Maybe if he loses we can accomplish the prison thing.

  2. Stall ALL judicial confirmations until “Leaky” Leahey can be defeated…why isn’t he in federal prison?…oh, yeah, I almost forgot, he’s a Liberal Democrat, and it is illegal to put Liberal Democrats in prison even for divulging Top Secret information to the public…and our enemies…except in ARIZONA!!!!

  3. In Vermont? He could be the Lord Jesus himself and Leahy would still win by a landslide. Peter Welch is the only vulnerable fed in Vermont…and even his seat in the House is pretty safe.

  4. Dell’s got it.

I’ve lived here in VT for all of my 46 years and have witnessed firsthand the creeping influence of socialism.

  5. C’mon, Vermonters, you know how the Left would do it.

    Checklist:
    1. Barnyard animal — check
    2. Video camera — check
    3. Drugs, alcohol, whatever — check

…you can take it from there….

  6. That is a great ad. Best i have ever seen.

  7. Great ad! One comment, though: I wonder why there is no Dad in the ad? Are they targeting female voters!

  8. The campaign manager jumped ship. According to the Burlington Free Press Len Britton is overidden with campaign debt. He has not raised any money.

  9. Leahy, Bernie and little petey the Welchkin are the scourge of “working Vermonters”. There is far less appeal for them outside of the liberal hell holes of the three B’s. (Burlington-academia, Bennington-welfare, Brattleboro-Flatlanding Masshole migrants).

The three stooge’s get most of there campaign cash from second home owners. This is why we have the mantra of “keeping” Vermont “the way it was”, with Potemkin farms that are forbidden to smell, stagnant, quaint small towns and no horrible, greedy industry. The only job creation the frauds in Washington and Montpelier will allow are state/Federal union jobs or tourist related minimum wage “careers”. All the while many “lawmakers” are working for “non” profits they vote public money to support and then collect a fat paycheck from. No conflicts there.

Leahy IS vulnerable. Stacking the court with outright Marxists is the final straw. People are sick of business as usual and incumbents. If the REAL Vermont gets it collective S*#t together and sends a message. It is not going to be easy. The GOP here is a joke and mainly concerned about holding on to the power they have, and not making liberal’s mad. So it is up to the citizens to set things aright. Len Britton has the best chance in a long time to put Leahy out to pasture.

And that is what we are planning on doing this fall. Remember in November. But as I saw the other day, the fringe is here. Saw a Obama 2012 sticker on a car driven by what my best guess was a Sleestak the other day. My wife, who until the health care outrage was apolitical, Said WFT? and then screamed at the lizard like hippie “chick” with grey hair, “If you want to be a COMMUNIST, go live in RUSSIA”! Damn!

You go girl! We can see November from our house…

Point of fact, Leahy HATES the Gasden flag. Wave it at him any chance you get…

  10. “The campaign manager jumped ship. According to the Burlington Free Press Len Britton is overidden with campaign debt. He has not raised any money.”

The campaign manager was the typical RINO VT GOP type who worried more about post election touchy-feely goodness with Demo-rats than his boy winning. Good bye. We do not need anymore of that tripe. We need someone who knows how to WIN.

As far as anything non Marxist, The “free” press is a rag in the tradition of Der Sturmer. EVERTHING printed in it is spin or leftist dogma. The red “newspaper” they collage Marxists sell on Church Street in Burlington is more objective that the “free” press.

Only believe it if you can see it. Other than that, it is spin…

  11. That was one heck of a campaign ad. Very funny. Would love to see more of those. Good luck upseading another liberal Demorat. They all got to go.

  12. Loved the classic “it’s for the kids” line as the govt guy was shoving the invoice in the door. That’s EXACTLY what they do…My $16 million school budget failed during the election. That means the budget goes to the town council to make cuts. They delivered the “it’s for the kids” line right before they announced their cut of . . . $10,000 (no, I did not forget a zero).

  13. I didn’t realize we have so many Vermonters…or, at least Vermont residents on board. That’s a good thing! I’ve lived in VT for 60 of my 65 years and have seen the wicked transformation as outsiders swarmed the state and turned it into a left-wing haven. I’ve known Pat Leahy for about 40 years…we attended the same church in Waterbury and he was the Chittenden County State’s Attorney when I was a police officer. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the mid-terms and report accordingly.

  14. Jim,

Thank you so much for posting these great Republican ads! I’ve been forwarding them to all my friends; I think they’re really great for revving us up for November, giving us hope, recharging our batteries, and getting us into the fighting, WINNING spirit!

Things have been looking so awful for so long that these breaths of fresh air are just what we need. Let’s rally, patriots, and take back our country!

  15. I can only wish him luck. Vermont used to be a solid, independent type state but over the Leahy/ Sanders years it has deteriorated into a dependency sucking at the teat of the federal government. The state representatives have catered to those who don’t want to contribute and they now outnumber those who do. Howard Dean only made things worse. I have been a property taxpayer of Vermont for 30 years. I would know.

  16. Hit the dems in the face. Wham!

  17. “I didn’t realize we have so many Vermonters…or, at least Vermont residents on board…the wicked transformation as outsiders swarmed the state and turned it into a left-wing haven.”

Well, I contend that the difference these days between a Vermonter and a flatlander is the state of mind, rather than where you where born. We need more political refugees who will move to Vermont and live the Vermont values. The good thing is that all the leftists in the past that came here have ruined the employment market so bad that their kids are moving else where for work. Property values are dropping, and the housing market is flooded with vacation homes. With the best carry laws in the nation and gun clubs common in most towns, It offers a lot in the firearms freedom area.

No matter where you go, there is always leftists and the problems they create. But Vermont is worth fighting for. So I joined VT C4L. Stop by my blog by clicking on my handle above.

    Don’t Jersey Vermont!

  18. Time to VOTE OUT the careerist old politician and obnoxious Patrick Leahy.

  19. A+
