Michelle Obama brought down the house literally at George Washington University’s graduation. The First Lady gave one of the most depressing speeches on record.
What a downer.

    Perhaps it’s a good thing my “Great Generation” grandparents are dead. I don’t think they could have made it through Michelle’s clip without seriously damaging their TV.

    One must ask if Michelle’s ever passed a history class (though it does explain her rejection of American exceptionalism, given she has no apparent reference to any other time besides the “past 8 years of Bushitler” to compare and contrast to).

    Jeez, I graduated from college at the start of the Carter recession and housing rates rose to 21%. Hmm. It’s a wonder I still can have a sunny disposition with all the terrible things I’ve endured. I don’t think Ronald Reagan would have EVER dreamed giving such a sour speech.

    She left out a few other parts, such as having a President currently in office that: is incompetent; lacks any relevant experience for the job; is saddling the country with levels of debt that will eventually cause hyperinflation and destroy our economy; will ask all of them to pay increasing levels of taxes to fund his idiotic Marxist ideas that have failed repeatedly when tried elsewhere; and will continue to endanger their lives and the lives of their loved ones because his naivete results in him foolishly believing that our enemies are rational and don’t want to destroy us.

    Well, you get the point, as I could on and on for hours about the arrogant, self-important clown in the Oval Office (aka her husband).

    This is true–I walked into the front room for something and Fox was showing her speech. I paused for about 10 seconds and she had a severe scowl on her face, her mouth turned down, just as if she was really chewing out her kids. Man, that’s a boatload of ugly!

    The bamas’ still have buckets of beauty, charm and slickness. It works, somehow, on the disenchanted, the marxists who are a direct product of our public schools, from elementary on up to secondary. Children are rather openly indoctrinated at school, and moms & pops are too worn out to put a noisy stop to it by attending school board meetings and electing
    real Americans to these positions. We may not want those positions, but the enemies of democracy do and we have to run good people and support them to change the direction of this country, if it isn’t too late. Fat and sleepy is no way to win against infiltrations like this.

    My parents were members of the “Great Generation” too. They went through the Great Depression and World War Two. They did not feel sorry for themselves. They rolled up their sleeves and went to work. I am so thankful for them and all my aunts and uncles.

    Down in the south we have a saying for a big butt on a women. “portch ass” Yet folks wonder why motivational books sell so well. Because we always hear from these folks, nothing but negativity. powder is dry.
