Obama’s trillion dollar Stimulus failed.
Barack Obama and the Pelosi Democrats tripled the national deficit last year by nearly a trillion dollars – something unheard of in our nation’s history. They’re off to another roaring start this year.

Nice work Pelosi, Reid and Obama.
On Thursday Barack Obama is going to travel to Buffalo, New York to try to blame Republicans, who have been completely blocked out of the decision making process for over a year, for the current economic disaster.
Reuters reported, via Free Republic:
President Barack Obama on Thursday will urge Congress to move forward on new job creation measures and pounce on Republicans for “obstructing efforts to rebuild” the U.S. economy, a White House official said.
Obama travels on Thursday to Buffalo, New York, where he will give a speech on the economy that highlights his administration’s achievements after the most recent U.S. jobs report showed the largest increase in jobs in four years, the official said.
“He’ll urge Congress to act quickly on new job creation measures, including proposals to strengthen small businesses so they can grow and hire,” the official said on Wednesday.
“And he’ll call on Republicans to stop sitting on the sidelines and obstructing efforts to rebuild our economy for the sake of short-term political gain.”
Employers added 290,000 jobs in April, the U.S. Labor Department said on Friday. It revised figures for February and March to show 121,000 more jobs were added than previously thought. The unemployment rate, however, rose to 9.9 percent as the size of the labor force increased.
This is a small man.

After his Buffalo speech, Obama will head to New York City, where:
“The President is slated to headline a superswank, $50,000-per-couple fund-raiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee at Manhattan’s gilded St. Regis hotel on Fifth Ave.”
“The high-dollar affair will feature fine French food, a bevy of Wall Street titans and 23 Congress members – including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).”
“Organizers said they expected 185 guests to fill out St. Regis’ main ballroom, where Obama will hold forth beneath a vaulted, cloud-dappled ceiling and gilded chandeliers.”
“Ticket prices start at $15,000 a head, or $30,000 a couple, which will get you dinner and a picture with the Prez.”
“Couples that shell out a full $50,000 also get to attend a VIP reception with Obama, who earlier in the day will be chatting up factory workers in Buffalo.”

Obama is surrounded by economists that are ignorant. Bad peple. They always leave out inconvnietnt facts. Regan add 35 million jobs. Currenly Obama promised 95,000 more jobs created evey month. That is not enough to even employ newcomers to the workforce. We need a net increase of 200,000 employment per month for Obama to catch up with Bush in 4 more years. Obama will not be able to get to the Bush employment levels before the next Prsidential electiojn.

The GOP doesn’t control any part of the legislature, any part of the regulatory bureaucracy, none of the entertainment media, and even less of academic and “cultural” institutions.
Even “big business” is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dem statism — so how on earth can anyone blame the GOP for today’s pathetic status quo?
(Unless you want to blame the GOP for not fighting hard enough against statism — something conservative voters have been doing with aplomb.)

A small man indeed…
But what of those ignorant Americans who persist in their blind support of him simply because he is more articulate than Bush? …or because he is a minority?
What of the corrupt media who forgive and yet encourage his every sin with their silence?
What of the political class who persist in their selfish, self-aggrandizement?

It’s the wingnuts. Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket. Hey, as long as it works, why not? Pass the caviar.

Can someone explain to me how blocking Obama’s policies can result in “short-term political gain” if, in fact, Americans favor his policies?
If America wants Obama’s policies, shouldn’t blocking them result in political damage and not gain? This is like Obama claiming he would rather be a great one-term POTUS than a mediocre two-term POTUS. It is a complete non-sequitor as “great” one-term POTUS’s are typically re-elected to second terms, arfe they not?
Obama always sounds so reasonable, but if you actually pay attention to his words, you realize that his logic is tortured at best.

The Democrats have run Congress for almost 4 years now. Can someone raise their hand to let us know when we can start blaming them for anything?
Look back at the US Economy prior to 2006 and look at it today. What one dramatic event has taken place politically between 2006 and now? The Democrats took over Congress. Yet not a single MSM outlet has considered this fact in the least.
An historically dramatic example of cause and effect completely ignored by the media whose sole job it is to point out such things.

The unemployment rate was 10.2% several month’s ago when they changed the methodology and dialed it back to 9.7% If we were still on the same basis as before, real umemployment would be ~10.5%.
