Ed Schultz expressed concern today that the 1,200 National Guard troops that President Obama has ordered to the Mexican border may have been issued “shoot to kill” orders.

Apparently, Schultz didn’t get the work that the unarmed National Guard members will not be used to target illegal immigrants.

This is the problem with the media in general (not that a blowhard opinion show is “news”). The rush to say SOMETHING (especially something that fits the liberal/progressive narrative) overrides the responsibility to get it RIGHT.
Why research and investigate and report the truth when you can just make up false or slanderous or libelous things that you’ll never be held accountable for saying?
If the crap you make up turns out to be true, hey you scooped everyone. If not, oops, no consequence.

What’s the nuance between “illegals” and “drug runners?” A drug runner is “illegal.” A gun runner over the border is “illegal.”
The media isn’t incompetent, it’s evil. They are setting National Guard up to be shot at by drug runners.

1. Why are they unarmed? They will be shot at and need to defend themselves.
2. There’s a warning out for a terrorist from Somalia and may be crossing from Mexico into Texas. Liberals: Do you let in terrorists from Mexico or do you stop them? If you let them in you are aiding them. If you stop them how do you know who they are? Are you going to racially profile people who look they are from Somalia? That’s profiling. That’s why we have laws. Everyone is treated the same under the law.
3. Why does Janet Napolitano have a deeper voice than Eric Holder? I’ve heard them both on the radio alot lately and it keeps me up at night.

Shoot to kill, I have no problem with that. Maybe they will get the message they are not wanted. Deport all the illegals,asylum seekers,refugees they are all cowards who won’t fight for there own freedom, they invade other countries and then try to make that country like there own. The US is becoming a 3rd world country just like the people that are jumping the fence.
In tijuana 2 years ago, the police where stripped of there weapons because of widespread corruption, they had to patrol with slingshots. I wonder why the guard was stripped of there weapons, does obama think they are corrupt or not qualified to carry weapons.
They need to at least issue slingshots to the national guard to defend themselves. They will still be outmatched going up against AK-47′s but they might get off a lucky shot.

Ever since Israel built the “evil” wall, the number of suicide bombers in Israel has been reduced to, more or less,… Obama… errr… zero.
Idea: I had a “Scrubsathon” (I like “Scrubs”, sue me), and there is one episode where Dr Cox was using “Dorian” instead of “stupid”. So “this was stupid” would turn into “this was Dorian.”
So my suggestion is, if something stupid happens or is done or whatever… we shouldn’t use “stupid” anymore, but rather use “Obama”.

At first I thought that the order of the Guard to the borders of Arizona to NOT interefer with the illegals could mean only one thing…..they were there to police the citizens of Arizona.

The official said the National Guard would be used to “provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support,” as well as support “counternarcotics enforcement” and provide “training capacity” until the Border Patrol can bring more officers on board. The additional funding would be used to improve border security technology and increase the number of agents, investigators and prosecutors targeting drug, human and weapons traffickers.
Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., said he’s heard that “the 1,200 border patrol troops are, in effect, desk jobs.”
“They aren’t boots on the ground at the border,” he said, adding that “they were not intended to be deployed to the border.”
“Rather they’ll be investigating, administrative support, maybe training,” he said. “Now that’s all fine…but the real value of the National Guard is to be seen.”
