Dem strategist Kirsten Powers told FOX News tonight that: The Obama Administration’s response to the Gulf oil spill crisis “was not about campaign donations, it was about incompetence.”
True.

They are not mutually exclusive.

“They’re not corrupt; they’re incompetent”
Pfff…and that’s somehow better?
Anyone else find it laughable that the Administration exhoriates Goldman Sachs and BP yet holds on to their sizable donations?
And by laughable I mean sobbing from the hypocrisy of it all?
Way to go Palin for punching at Obama for this. That’s my momma grizzly!
Jim Rose commented:
You have to give Sarah Palin credit. She knows how to tweak the Democrats like no one else. Who in the Obama camp ever expected to be accused of being beholden to Big Oil? Classic.
Just_Saying commented:
So, now incompetence is a good thing? Or, is it just a degree of malfeasance?
.
Dell commented:
“Incompetence” is quite correct.
I’m pleased to hear the administration finally admit it!!
Captain Fantastic commented:
Kristen always tries make herself be more clever by half than others. She, herself, is not intellectually impressive. Don’t know who she knows at Fox but she embarrasses herself whenever she is amongst more seasoned players (like today on Fox News Sunday when matched up against Britt, Bill, even Mora).
Just_Saying commented:
Come to think of it, incompetence and malfeasance are on a completely different scale than corruption. Corruption is criminal!
.
Opus #6 commented:
And how does she know that the BP donations did not influence Obama? Where is her proof? She assumes incompetence, but that does not convince me.
If Obama were simply incompetent, he would do things right every now and then just by chance.
Jim commented:
C’mon guys, you are smarter than this. Obama doesn’t give a dam because he needs this spill to be as bad as it can get. He’s hoping for oil trashed coastline from corpus christie all the way to Miami.
Remember, never let a crisis go to waste. He’s just hoping that there will be thousands of miles of contaminated coast line out there. He is happily watching a private sector company fail to control the situation so he can later make another power grab for the government.

Hi there my American friends!
This is ABSOLUTELY must be seen video.
Probably one of the best political ads ever.
“Les Philips Swore To Defend Against Enemies, Foreign And Domestic”
I found it on http://theothermccain.com
Another fantastic black American in the league with great Allen West.
We know that the 90% of blacks voted Obama but those who are against him are truly the BEST Americans.
David Johnson commented:
I keep thinking about the Obammunist’s lack of concern about governing against the will of the people and his long term plans. Might it be that he doesn’t want to run for a second term? There’s been lots of evidence in that regard, some of it from his own lying mouth. Besides the fact that he’s pretty damned lazy, quitting after one term would be equivalent to a “virtual assassination” and grant him canonization to liberal sainthood (kinda like what could have happened to LBJ if he fit a particular demographic). The story line would be, “oh he was just too advanced for Neanderthal Americans and racist Americans hated him because he was black.”
DavidL commented:
Barrack Obama was playing golf and was not available for comments. The Vice President did say the spill was big effing deal.
Chris Vehr commented:
Everything he does is on purpose. He’s bright, but evil. He’s smart enough to fool over half our countrymen to get elected, despite having no crdentials. Do not ever under estimate this man.
Oh, there’s no way in hell he’s not running for a second term. No way! In fact, if he doesn’t win, I predict violence in the street. On the other hand, the table will be set in his favor and it will be nearly impossible to defeat him. When the electorate realizes it has been cheated, the cheated will rise up.
Civil war awaits us either way. It’s what he wants.
anonymous commented:
They (Obama and the Democratic Congress) are corrupt. I don’t agree with Kirstin Powers.
squeaky commented:
“if he doesn’t win, I predict violence in the street..” by those who aren’t willing to hold him accountable. those who are themselves guilty
of the very same things they accuse others of.
HoosierArmyMom commented:
@ rabidfox… quite astute, and agreed, they aren’t mutually exclusive and the O’Bummer admin possesses plenty of BOTH!!!!
squeaky commented:
probably one of the many who think they have a friend in the white house. obama has no allegiance to many of them. there is a dark side of human nature and while you can’t change it or control it you would be foolish to ignore it. many things can’t be changed by good will which in some cultures is viewed as a
sign of weakness.
oldguy commented:
I don’t think it’s incompetence so much as they realize BP is a foreign owned company in international waters and they are powerless to do anything but clean up afterword.
If you want to blame somebody try the US Government, the EPA and the court system. Failure to enforce the Monroe Doctrine for many years also led to this mess.
drjohn commented:
That’s quite an argument.
John Gargano commented:
Of course its incompetence! Since Obama had never achieved anything of note prior to being elected, what makes anyone think he would all of a sudden become competent at anything. And that includes leadership.
The Democrats have clearly displayed that while they are high on logic and motives, they are totally out to lunch on connecting their lofty ideals to any type of economically feasible or practical plans of action.
Reality be damned, they want to get rid of everything they don’t like and replace it with….what?
Just look at Obama Care, Cap and Trade, CO2 as a pollutant and their energy policies. Unless they can develop some type of magic beans and mix them with water to make something our cars would run on, nothing they say is economically feasible, practical or logistically possible.
Opaobie commented:
I’ll bet the folks along the Gulf coast are wishing those “evil oil men” Bush and Cheney had advising them were advising “The Community Organizer” about now.
