Kagan Is Anti-Military, Anti-Gun, Anti-Free Speech But Media Refuses to Label Her a Hardcore Lib

Elena Kagan is anti-military:
Kagan not only kicked the military recruiters off campus but she attended anti-military rallies on campus.

Kagan told fellow protesters at the rally:
“I’m very opposed to two government policies that directly violate our policy of nondiscrimination and directly impact our students,” stated Dean Kagan at the rally. “The first is ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell.’…. The second is the Solomon Amendment which effectively forces educational institutions to make exceptions to their nondiscrimination policy when it comes to the military and military recruitment.”

Elena Kagan said as a U.S. Supreme Court law clerk in 1987 that she was “not sympathetic” toward a man who contended that his constitutional rights were violated when he was convicted for carrying an unlicensed pistol.
Kagan, whom President Barack Obama nominated to the high court this week, made the comment to Justice Thurgood Marshall, urging him in a one-paragraph memo to vote against hearing the District of Columbia man’s appeal.
The man’s “sole contention is that the District of Columbia’s firearms statutes violate his constitutional right to ‘keep and bear arms,’” Kagan wrote. “I’m not sympathetic.”

Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan said the high court should be focused on ferreting out improper governmental motives when deciding First Amendment cases, arguing that the government’s reasons for restricting free speech were what mattered most and not necessarily the effect of those restrictions on speech.
It’s weird then how the media has failed to label Elena Kagan a hardcore lib. In fact the media labeled mainstream Justice Alito “conservative” ten times more than they have labeled Kagan a “liberal.”
It’s funny how that works.

As one commentator noted, she seemed just fine with “Don’t Gay; Don’t Die” at Harvard.

I can see being against a conflict or a situation, but to be against the entire military is outrageously foolish.

I told people back in 2008 that they best understand that the reason the left was so desperate to win was that they needed to in order to stack the Supreme Court with leftist judges. once that was accomplished they would just bypass the will of the people as voiced by the legislative and executive branches of government and legislate from the bench. See Roe v. Wade for a fine example of that.

I personally don’t care so much that she is or isn’t a lesbian. I’d rather not know. I do care, though, if her “sexual orientation” conflicts with her interpretation and understanding of the Constitution Generally speaking, this is the not true for your average heterosexual judge.
Of course she is a lib. Who nominated her? And she is just as unexperienced as him. I’m sure this was a pay pack for something in the past. No doubt about it.
