Oops!
The Washington Post confused Barack Obama today with black radical Malcolm X.
The fact that there was no teleprompter in the photo should have been a dead give-away.
Racists.

Although I would like to think this is a sly comment on BO’s lack of stature to compare with this man, I suspect it is a mere cut-and-paste fumble because one of the killers of Malcom X has just been paroled, so there was a reason for the picture to be pulled up.
Guys, you ought to read “The Autobiography of Malcom X,” finalized and published by Alex Haley shortly after his murder.
This man started out radical and angry, and then grew up, starting to read voraciously while in prison. Although he once called MLK a “stooge,” for working within the system, he eventually split with the Nation of Islam, choosing to encourage action through voting instead of violence.
The followers of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam swore to kill him, and he was assassinated shortly after.
If he were alive today, he’d be on the podium with ZO.

Hmmmm….. Could there possibly be some truth to the rumor that Obama is biologically the son of Malcolm X? They certainly resemble each other! Obama Jr. doesn’t look like Obama Sr. – plus O Sr. was short!
I wonder. What is worse? The possibility that Obama Jr. is a usurper because his alleged “father,” Obama Sr., was never an American citizen? Or, the cover-up of who Obama’s true father was and how such a scam misled the American people in the election of 2008? Either way, it exposes Obama as a pathological LIAR!

However even the militant Nation of Islam has endorsed Obama. Farrakhan has spoken very kindly of Obama, even referring to him as the Messiah and the hope of the entire world. With the leading figure for black nationalism in America praising the man who is now the President of the country he once demonized, the black nationalism of Malcolm X may have been replaced by inclusion in the greater United States of America. This is not to say that the struggle is over, but that it has taken a different form and philosophy.
Obviously Obama’s message of hope, unity and diversity counters against Malcolm X’s ‘blue eyed devil rhetoric.’ However the views that Malcolm X had after leaving the Nation of Islam are more in line with Obama’s. Here are some quotes from Malcolm after his epiphany of race in Mecca.
I realized racism isn’t just a black and white problem. It’s brought bloodbaths to about every nation on earth at one time or another.
In many parts of the African continent I saw white students helping black people. Something like this kills a lot of argument. I did many things as a [Black] Muslim that I’m sorry for now. I was a zombie then — like all [Black] Muslims — I was hypnotized, pointed in a certain direction and told to march.
I am not a racist…. In the past I permitted myself to be used…to make sweeping indictments of all white people, the entire white race and these generalizations have caused injuries to some whites who perhaps did not deserve to be hurt. Because of the spiritual enlightenment which I was blessed to receive as a result of my recent pilgrimage to the Holy city of Mecca, I no longer subscribe to sweeping indictments of any one race. I am now striving to live the life of a true…Muslim. I must repeat that I am not a racist nor do I subscribe to the tenants of racism. I can state in all sincerity that I wish nothing but freedom, justice and equality, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people.

Curious accident. Was watching videos of Malcom X – while helping kids with Martin Luther King Day and was astounded at the huge spiritual choice put before Blacks in the 1960s – the Christian acknowlegement of sin, repentence and reconciliation promoted by Martin Luther King and the rejection and rebellion promoted by Malcom X. Polar opposites in solutions and they were constantly compared to each other. Wonder how Malcom X would have turned out had he not been murdered. He was totally disgusted when he discovered the manipulative fraud of EM, and was going through a huge re-evaluation when NOI stomped him out. So, it was fascinating to watch their speeches, watch the interviews, actually.
The youngest walked in while the video of Malcom X was running, watched it for a few moments and asked, “Is that Obama?”
Uncanny. Keep wondering if that’s the real problem with the birth certificate. Heard the rumors before the election, but had never ever seen a film of Malcom X, so dismissed it as wishful thinking amongst folks who wanted it to be. Not so sure now.

I wonder if someone in the editing room got confused because the man convicted of killing Malcolm X was paroled yesterday. They could have pulled that pic of Malcolm X for that story, and then put it in the wrong place. Still lame, but maybe understandable… or I could just be hoping that people aren’t that stupid…

I suspected this was a hoax the moment I saw it. Yeah the Post isn’t perfect, but this would be plain dumb — I refuse to believe the Post hires the kind of flunkie that would do this. I have been unable to find anyone who actually saw the page for themselves; have you? The Post, I’m sure has millions of readers a day, why is this the ONLY screengrab I’ve repeatedly seen — exact same perspective/crop? Shouldn’t hundreds more be floatimg around? Further, in the hoax screengrab, what’s with that weird blue line around the Malcolm X pic? That’s not on the correct version, or on any other photo in that space?
