Thousands of Jews and Israel supporters protested in the rain outside of the Israeli Consulate in New York City today against Barack Obama’s anti-Israel policies.
WPIX reported:

Thousands of Jews gathered outside the Israeli Consulate Sunday to protest President Obama’s position towards Israel.

Organizers said the event supports “Israel’s right to build and live in its own country,” as well as its right to unite Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty. They are also protesting the Obama Administrations’ alleged disregard of the democratic Jewish state.

“We are outraged that President Obama is scapegoating Israel and wants to expel Jews from their homes in Jerusalem. President Obama and Secretary Hillary Clinton show more anger about a Jewish family building a home in Jerusalem than Iran building a nuclear bomb,” states Beth Gilinsky of the Jewish Action Alliance. “Vast segments of the Jewish community will not tolerate the President’s continuing attacks on Israel. Grassroots Jewry will not be silent.”

Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs gave a great speech at the rally today and posted several pictures.
“For the first time in American history we have an anti-Israel president.”

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch addressed participants in a pro-Israel rally in this taped statement.

Maybe if his top advisors would stop cracking greedy Jewish merchant jokes during their speeches, that would help.

  1. “For the first time in American history we have an anti-Israel president.”

Well, maybe for the second time, if you include Jimmy Carter, though his anti-Israeli feelings really didn’t come out until he was gone from office, and he dumped Andrew Young after that U.N. incident where he secretly met with the PLO. With this White House, you get the feeling that if Susan Rice were to be caught at the next General Assembly session having a secret meeting with Ahmedinejad, she’d get nominated for a Presidential Medal of Freedom instead of being cashiered the way Andy was.

  2. First, it was the minority of misguided and duped Conservatives that turned on Obama. Then it was most of the Independents that turned. Then it was some Democrats. Now, it’s the Jews who are also turning on Obama. This is getting good, folks. A line is being drawn in the sand.

  3. The Jews voted for Obama,,,,now they have a problem!!!! I want to feel sorry for them but it is tough. They can keep this up and help us to rid the country of these marxist running the country or they can line again. it is time for freedom loving person stand up and draw a line in the sand.

    Kudos to Pamela!!

re: Ed Koch, i may not have agreed with him on many things, but one
thing i know the man is not, and that is a propagandist, he tells it like
it is, truthfully, w/o pulling any punches, regardless of party to boot..

  5. I will never understand why the majority of Jews voted Obama. From the beginning Pamela warned them about our Liar-In-Chief, sadly they didn’t listen.

  7. Bob
They will vote Kommiecrats reguardless, maybe not 85% but noy much less…

  8. This is about the “pot calling the kettle black”. The American jews, new yorkers in particular voted overwhelmingly for obama. He didn’t hide his hatred for jews during the campaign.
Incidently Obama or Hilary don’t care what the american jews think, the protests only “amuse” him.
The only one who hates the Israelis more than the Iranians is Obama.

  9. excellent…. great job!

  10. Good maybe the disinvestment college councils will take notice. All accross the USA, Muslism/Palestinians are hooking up with school faculty to disinvest from Israeli companies. The Jews on campus are trying to keep their voices up, many who voted for Obama — maybe they will change their minds now for 2012? anti-Israel campus thugs’ goal is to destroy Israel the state and its people.

  11. Hard to continue to feel sorry for the Jews. They will turn around, finance another Marxist campaign, and vote for the anti-american POS again.

  12. Pamela Gellar is a bright spot in the blogosphere and in our world. We must preserve our freedoms and free speech so people like her can continue speaking truth to power.

  13. Would the Jews feel the same way about Obama if he wasn’t anti-Israel? ….I didn’t think so.

  14. As a Jew who voted for John McCain, and who considers himself an Independent voter, I am
not pleased with either party. Both extremes, right and left have always hated the Jew: accused of being a capitalist money grubber or as a ‘socialist’ liberal egalitarian, accused of being a narrow-minded religious nationalist or a pluralistic humanist. Yet, why they all want to possess the eternal and ONLY holy city of the Jews – yes, Yerushalaim (Jerusalem)! WHY?

  15. “For the first time in American history we have an anti-Israel president.”

Also the first time we’ve had an anti-American president.

  16. ray #17 “Also the first time we’ve had an anti-American president.” No truer words have been spoken.

  17. As long as the O is pro infanticide he will still get the majority of the liberal Jewish vote.

  19. sad to say the jews will vote him and shumer back in office they never learn

  20. 0bama:

Let me be clear, the Jews were my friends just before the election. As soon as they voted for me I had no further use for them. I say toss them into the ovens. Who needs them now?

My limousine is running and I have a date with Barney Frank and George Soros. We will see who gets the shaft. The Jews suck. Good day.

I don’t think it is hate, Koev. Most presidents and even Democratic Congress (exception Ron Paul)in history have always supported Israel, at least to recognize their right to a homeland, if some have never did entirely right by them. When it comes to the Arab/Palestinian State, it’s all about the oil.

I believe that is why the US government cater to these envirnomental gurus and anti-drill here in America to stop depending on oil from the Muslims.

Israel, by inheritence from God, has much more land than they are willing to settle for; including the Sinai, all land west of the Euphrates River, the mountains of Southern Lebanon and all of Jerusalem. And they will someday be restored to that land.

Just praying for the day, Israel gets their oil wells pumping crude.

Believe me, most of Americans are waking up and getting educated about Israel and their Biblical relationship to God.

I often asked why Israel never mentions the pact Islam (Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, the late Arafat’s uncle) made with the Nazis in WWII and was responsible for the genocide of tens of thousands of Jews in Bosnia. And they probably trained the Nazis in systematic genocide. They had plenty of experience with the Armenians.

  22. Them Jews never learn. do they?
Don’t they know that Obama loves them, and wants their good?

  23. They’ll all still vote for him again.

  24. yesterday there was a story of king hussain of jordan appealing to israel for help in saving the life of a 3 year old girl. the girl is the daughter of a hamas member and was in danger of dying because of a doctor botch-up. israel agreed and
the girl was brought in yesterday for treatment.
israel extending the hand of humanitarian aid….

  25. Don’t expect Liberal Jews to help anyone but themselves. Then they find out that they are not liked and targets of the rage. Can’t fix stupid, it’s a permanent condition. powder is dry.

  26. “we must never forget” “never again”…where is the ADL? they attack punks with spay paint cans but not real anti semitism that is a threat to holocaust? Do not let Gen James Jones get away with his deliberate and carefully scripted jew jokes. Look into his background, where he went to school. This is a man who admired Edmund A Walsh , a fascist jesuit who protected nazi war criminals from prosecution.

  27. Well now, if I were a Jew, I would also protest against Obama, and his administration. Even if I did vote for him in the last election, I would now have learned that I was conned into believing he was for keeping good relations with Israel. But I am not a Jew, and Obama is not a good leader for any decent country.

you must be a new breed of Obamoron..

because Obama was the ONLY Senator who opposed Born Alive
Infants Protection Act, NARAL didn’t even oppose the bill, hello??

as far as i know OBAMA IS NOT JEWISH.. but one of his main
string pullers is, and he obviously has a thing for dead Jews, go
    figure..

    Jews voted for him..

    Notre Dame honored him..

Nobel gave him a Peace Prize for Global Warming..

as you all know, i could go on.. but i’ll suffice to say, if Obama’s record going forth is anything like his secreted record from his past, that ought to give US a clue as to what’s in store for our future..

  31. Jews voted for him, supported his run and mocked the people who opposed him. I hear that most of them still support him. It is a puzzle to me why anyone, especially the Jews would support this guy who is plainly in the Muslim camp. Whats it going to take folks? What in heaven’s name is it going to take for people to wake up??? Let us go to the polls in Nov. and do our best to tie his hands! Come on Jews, do the right thing this time.

a perspective by Richard N. Haass

    The Palestine Peace Distraction

Announcing a comprehensive plan now—one that is all but certain to fail—risks discrediting good ideas, breeding frustration in the Arab
world, and diluting America’s reputation for getting things done.

[The Palestinian leadership remains weak and divided; the Israeli government is too ideological and fractured; U.S.-Israeli relations are too strained for Israel to place much faith in American promises. The West Bank is the equivalent of a fragile state at best. What is needed are sustained efforts to strengthen Palestinian economic, military and governing capacities on the West Bank so that Israel will come to see the Palestinian Authority as a partner it can work with.

Also needed are efforts to repair U.S.-Israeli ties. The most important issue facing the two countries is Iran. It is essential the two governments develop a modicum of trust if they are to manage inevitable differences over what to do about Iran's nuclear program, a challenge that promises to be the most significant strategic threat of this decade. A protracted disagreement over the number of settlements or the contours of a final settlement is a distraction that would benefit neither the U.S. nor Israel, given an Iranian threat that is close at hand and a promise of peace that is distant.]

  33. I left this rally with one question: Where is the Press? I did not see The NYPost, Daily News, NYTimes, FoxNews, CNN, CSPAN or any other well-known media network. This morning, when I googled the rally I only could find The Canada Free Press and the 5 Towns Jewish Times covering this rally. I now understand that there have been a few more articles on the rally, including WPIX News. This clearly leaves me with one thing to keep in mind: We the people must be the leaders in this cause. Each of us must not wait and depend on someone else to speak out for us. There is not a religious leader, a congressman, or a president of the United States whom we should wait to hear from when there is silence of this magnitude. The fact is, in spite of Mayor Ed Koch, Eli Weisel, the RJC and others calling attention to this silence, the ‘silent ones’ may still remain silent, no matter how embarrassed or ashamed they may feel. So it is now in the hands of the individual to speak out. Not just Jews and Christians, but all Americans. Next time there is a ‘Protest for Israel’ where will you be? Please don’t be one of the ‘silent ones.’ Become one of the ‘outspoken’ and speak about this everyday until we together can make a change that we can believe in!

  34. I can’t believe that the many years of friendship with Israel might be destroyed by this one man. I do believe we have a monster in the white house. Hilary needs to go cook something and get out of politics. I only pray that Israel realizes that America as a whole supports them and disapproves of Obama’s stupid way of thinking.
