SEIU THUGS PLEAD NOT GUILTY IN BRUTAL BEATDOWN–
After a health care town hall meeting in August Kenneth Gladney was beaten, kicked and called racist names by Rep. Russ Carnahan’s SEIU supporters. Gladney was hospitallized after this unprovoked attack in South St. Louis County.
Gladney, a cancer survivor, was selected for the beatdown because he was handing out “Don’t Tread On Me” flags and because he was black.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch reported at the time:
Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don’t tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.
The national media and NAACP ignored the hate crime. Gladney didn’t fit the mold.
Kenneth Gladney was beaten by several SEIU thugs after the meeting let out. He was working outside the town hall event selling flags and buttons when he was attacked.
Although he was too weak to speak after his public beating, Kenneth Gladney attended the protest against SEIU violence following his beatdown in St. Louis.
Last night in court the SEIU thugs seen pummeling Kenneth Gladney in the video pleaded not guilty.
Kenneth’s borther Keith sent the information:
We just found out that all the SEIU members plead not guilty to the charges and so we are going to trial.
Thank you,
Keith Gladney
See you in court.

I suppose they will claim that Gladney walked into the thug’s outstretched fist?
Nice.

KKK and SEIU = DNC
SEIU beats down a black man outside a DEMOCRAT’s town hall – MSM silence.
I guess they don’t want to bring back the images of DEMOCRAT’s town hall meetings in days gone by where black men were lynched in trees afterwards.
No wonder the democrats are so beholden to the re-writing of history.

“But Gladney is a racist Tea Partier! He deserved what he got!”

Under reported Violence, just look for the union label!

So can the criminals plea to a lesser charge and get a diversion?
gus commented:
Kenneth Gladney was clearly a racist fomenting violence. Just ask Bill Clinton.

If those people walk…

If Kenneth Gladney claimed that they spit on him and called him n!gger, it would be on a continuous loop in the MSM.
right??

This is a criminal case where a person has been injured due to union activity. If the guys plead out or if they are found guilty, the union along with the individuals will be held liable for the guy’s injuries, provided the victim files a civil suit after the criminal case is decided.
Guilt, and eventual liability in this case both look like a lay-up, from what we see so far.
The union may simply be trying to make it as expensive and tedious as possible for the victim to collect. They may also be trying to avoid trial before the mid-term elections.
Richard Aubrey commented:
I heard that one of the thugs injured himself slightly–that can happen if you’re out of shape and try to beat up a guy–and he filed for work comp with his employer, SEIU.
If true, that would be interesting.

Jim is doing a yeoman’s work by following the violence the left is committing. You all need to be vigilant. Just because you want to be peaceful doesn’t mean they will be peaceful.
And remember the rule we all followed in police work. It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by six.
Watch yourself.

Wanna know what’s ironic? The Tea Party movement attracts a lot of older people. SEIU sends infiltrators to Tea Party events. However, SEIU also partners with AARP to support Obamacare and now the “financial reform” bills.
Andy Stern is one of four leaders of this AARP initiative, which is currently running ads in papers, on radio and TV:

So, dues that Tea Partiers who belong to AARP pay, may be going to pay the very thugs who beat down Mr. Gladney.

Kenneth Gladney’s face is registered as a lethal weapon. He attacked those innocent SEIUers.
Joanne commented:
These thugs will be found guilty, and then Obama will perform a miracle and they will get off scott free. I’m sure these thugs are expecting Obama to come to the rescue like he came to the rescue of those Black Panthers intimidating voters outside a voter hall. It isn’t what you know, but who you know.

… So, what do future union thugs and 8th graders have in common? If AFL-CIO’s Liz Shuler has her way, it’ll be big labor:

The world is changing. The thugs can beat up people if it is political and get away with it.

first they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they get violent, then they lose. (Gandhi) We’re winning folks. just know this, the TPM is a group of law abiding citizens. These attacks happen in may issue or no issue states. (conceal to carry). try this crap in the southern state’s SEIU. Noticed not one member present in Atlanta April 15th. too many cops and good citizens. Plus a whole lot of deep concealment right to carry folks. You can spot them if you know what to look for. some were cops, some were not. good luck with your tactics. LOL. powder is dry.
Roy Mustang commented:
SEIU are a bunch of thugs that deserve to be in jail and Gladney over did it with the photo-op.
Would you please stop running that ridiculous photo of Gladney in the wheelchair?
Xenu's Paradox commented:
NO.
That photo needs to be plastered on every blank surface in America.

The State Department is asking about Human Rights violations in the US. The administration sent its para-military supporters to disrupt opposition to Russ Carnahan. Use the email address above to report the Gladney beating as a human rights violation by the current regime.
Xenu's Paradox commented:
State department, nothing. We already know Washington is the enemy. We need to get an international organization involved. Like Amnesty International, but without the idiocy and hypocrisy.
Roy Mustang commented:
No, Xenu. Leave the exaggerations, deceptions and melodrama to the liberals please.
Palinfan commented:
Gladney deserved a beatdown by the nonviolent, tolerant Liberals after his seditious talk and actions. And also because he was a minority. Liberals can’t tolerate uppity blacks! Oh, and don’t forget that Conservative woman in New Orleans who got a good smackdown with a multiple fractures and broken bones – Liberals done put an uppity woman back in her place where she do belong!
