SEIU Executive VP Hudson: White Union Members Are ‘So F****** Rabidly Racist’

Gerry Hudson, the Executive Vice President of Service Employees International Union (SEIU), told a panel on CSPAN this past week:
“I think we got some real problems. I spent a lot of time in Wisconsin and places like that where I have heard some of the most anti-immigrant sentiments around. It’s so f***ing rabidly racist.”
Hudson was speaking on the topic of “immigration reform” or amnesty for illegal aliens.
Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are going to push their amnesty plan in the US Senate any day now.

I’m one of the rare minorities here who believe this continued (mis)appropriation of racism language is actually quite beneficial for society.
In order for American culture to truly become post-racial, the concept and its charge must become meaningless, nonunique and universal. In post-modern spirit, all actions must be guilty of its claim, allowing it to be both everything and nothing simultaneously.
Protesting taxes = Racist! Waking up White = Racist! Opposing redistribution of capital = Racist! Owning a home = Racist! Paying your taxes = Racist! Not paying your taxes = Racist! Opposing immigration reform. Demanding immigration reform. Opposing/supporting the President’s Supreme Court nominee. All political discourse is fully racist as the Left has correctly illustrated, all political discourse is referential to the minority President. Not one single action can be made in political space without it having a racist context.
The outcome of this condition is that the President will indeed move the country to a post-racial landscape, representing one of the very few positive contributions we can expect. Racism’s universality renders it useless.
How can you help accelerate this transition? Recognize and label everything as racist, post on it, claim and charge it, and help society transcend to a better space. Now excuse me while I go let my racist dog out…

Well, look: Even if the Dems (and Graham) ram through an amnesty, the numbers don’t pan out for them.
Let’s say there are 30 million illegals in the U.S. Most are Mexicans, and a large percentage of those are minors. I would say that with amnesty, there might be about 6 million new eligible voters.
In the last election, about 30 percent of Hispanics voted for McCain. So, we should probably expect nearly a third of the new voters of Hispanic background to vote for the GOP. That’s not counting all the Europeans, Canadians, Australians, Asians, etc., who are here illegally. Most of them, I would imagine, would vote against the Democrats, since the Dems are hellbent on instituting everything that these people fled.
Also, the people who are expected to save the Dems’ bacon–Mexicans–traditionally have a very low turnout, even in years when their side is riding high in the pollsl. Right now, their side is tanking in the polls. The people fired up to vote are on our side.
Most Americans–including union members–oppose amnesty. If the Dems ram this through, they’re going to lose many more voters than the new voters they gain. Democrats and independents will overwhelmingly vote against the Democrats to punish them.
The country is already itching to toss incumbents out. If Congress enacts an amnesty between now and November, we’re going to see almost every single incumbent tossed out. That’s guaranteed.
And an amnesty simply won’t be able to provide the Democrats with enough new voters to save their rear ends.

Obama was elected in part because so many Americans felt a need to prove they aren’t racist. If our side falls into the trap of allowing the left and the media to paint us as a movement that embraces “angry white people,” then we’ll lose the next election.
There’s no need to play the game the way leftists do. Tit for tat will backfire on our side. We need to be the colorblind side. Go after our opponents’ message without mentioning their race or skin color.

1) A hard deadline for the Criminals to align themselves with the law

1 Acknowledges African Americans SEIU members are concerned about immigration amnesty, he is not concerned, as he said it does not take a whole lot to argue at least African Americans too another place. Seems he holds African Americans in pretty low esteem.
