Radical Obama: Arizona's Tough Immigration Bill Is "Misguided" & May Violate Civil Rights Law (Video) …Update: AZ Gov. Signs Bill

Can we all agree now that we elected a far left radical?
President Obama said the tough new Arizona immigration bill that requires police to question people about their immigration status is “misguided” and may violate a person’s civil rights(?)

Obama started campaigning for his amnesty plan today.
The Associated Press reported:

President Barack Obama criticized Arizona’s tough immigration bill as irresponsible Friday and said his administration is examining whether it would violate civil rights.

Obama said the federal government must act responsibly to reform national immigration law — or “open the door to irresponsibility by others.”

“That includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe,” Obama said.

If signed into law by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, the legislation would require police to question people about their immigration status if there’s reason to suspect they’re in the country illegally. Civil rights activists say such a law would lead to racial profiling and deter Hispanics from reporting crimes.

Obama instructed the Justice Department to examine the bill to see if it would violate civil rights.

As Rush Limbaugh wrote today in the Wall Street Journal: “Had President Obama campaigned on this agenda, he wouldn’t have garnered 30% of the popular vote.”
Obama’s reaction to the Arizona immigration bill is just further proof of this.

More… Neokong added:

Obama instructed the Justice Department to examine the bill to see if it would violate civil rights.

Would that be the same Justice Dept. that looked the other way when ACORN was trying to help James O’Keefe set up a brothel of under age girls from El Salvador….?

Would that be the same Justice Dept. that dropped the charges against the Black Panther militants who were intimidating voters with night sticks AFTER they had already won the case….?

The only reason the DOJ is going to review this is to find a way to kill it.

UPDATE: The Arizona Governor signed the immigration bill today.
