The radical regime in Washington will not stop with their plans to remake American until they are forced out of office. Pelosi and Reid are already looking past the banking overhaul bill that is currently on the table. The two far left radicals are determined to pass BOTH amnesty and cap-and-trade before the election in November.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) she is “fine” with the Senate taking up immigration reform before climate change legislation.
Pelosi made the comments in a private meeting on Tuesday, according to a Democratic aide.
The aide stressed that the discussion was not about doing one of the high-profile issues instead of the other.
“The conversation was really about timing, not an either-or kind of thing, but timing,” said the aide, who described the talks as a routine meeting of bicameral leaders.
“It is all about what the Senate can move first and pass,” the aide said Wednesday. “Obviously on both of these items — immigration and comprehensive energy and climate legislation — we are waiting on the Senate to act.”
“If they [the Senate] can do immigration first, that is fine,” the aide continued, adding that Pelosi told Reid “if you could do immigration first that would work. Both of these initiatives have very strong support in the caucus to do.”

Nancy wants immigration to be a wedge issue at election time so the Democrats can once again hurl their crap bombs of racism at anyone who opposes amnesty.
The way she figures iut is if you oppose it then Hispanics will not vote for and if it passes they have another large block of voters who owe something to Democrats.
It is just like with the stimulus package and the health care scam. They were both designed to give them more power and giant slush funds of money that they can use to get re-elected.

A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, 27 April, for sworn testimony on the Ft. Hood shooting and how that terrorist animal was still in the military.
On Monday, Senator Lieberman (CT) and Senator Collins (ME) issued official subpoenas to multiple recipients within The Department Of Justice and The Defense Department, including Eric Holder and Robert Gates.
Yesterday, a spokesperson for The Defense Department relayed a written statement of refusal to cooperate with the subpoena.

I hate to raise this observation, but if it were not for 9-11, amnesty would have been achieved in 2001. Bush was ready. The Congress–both parties as we know–were on board, but I recall seeing some polls showing strong opposition. I think without 9-11 the people might not have been as adamant and might not have had the incentive to fight it.
