His arrogance knows no bounds.
Barack Obama says that “like me” Australian Primem Minister Rudd is “smart but humble.”
Via Breitbart TV:

From the video:

Aussie Reporter: One of your state department officials said there was meeting of minds between you and Kevin Rudd. Is there a meeting of minds (with Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd)?

Barack Obama: I really think there is. Kevin is somebody who I probably share as much of a world view as any world leader out there. I find him smart, but humble. He works wonderfully well in multilateral settings. He’s always constructive, incisive and he is like me a pragmatic person. He comes to the job wanting to provide better opportunities not just for this generation but for the next. But, I think he is somebody who isn’t an academic or thinking about abstract ideas. I think he’s constantly thinking in practical terms about how to get something done.

Like President Obama, Kevin Rudd is a global warming kook.
It’s too bad the reporter didn’t ask Obama about Kevin Rudd’s ear picking and eating habit.

Is that what he meant about Keving being an “constructive, incisive” leader?

  1. Nothing to do but laugh at him anymore.

  2. Umm…

He did say those words. Not in that order, and not with that meaning.

Aren’t there enough real things with which to hammer this worthless President without fabricating things?

  3. Humble? Obummer? What a liar — probably doesn’t even realize this one!!
    .

  4. Ack!! ACK!!

  5. Dang it! I was reading the article, and, well…. Does anyone know how to clean vomit off a keyboard?

  6. @Huey: Implied. Definitely implied.

  7. Huey #2, so quote him in context and tell us what he really meant.

  8. Obama is clearly, the Louis XVI of our time. Surrounded by sycophants who praise his name, served by spinners who instantly defuse those few barbs that penetrate a wall far more substantial than any that faces illegal entrants, conducted daily to read from teleprompters to crowds of adoring supporters who cheer at his every pause, he really, really believes he is a beloved figure whose only opponents are racists, troglodytes and paid figures.

This, folks, is the simple truth. This fellow isn’t bright enough to distinguish flattery from commentary. And he never will be.

The next few years are going to be interesting. As an older American, I just hope I can hang around long enough to see the later acts of this absurd comedy. And, as a patriotic American (who clings to his God and right to own guns), I pray every day that we will survive this unfortunate episode in our history.

  9. Ba-rack’s a lumberjack and he’s okay…

  10. There just aren’t words to describe….

  11. Kevin Rudd smart and humble! This is the biggest joke I’ve heard since coming to Australia!

Obama’s statement is a further proof of the degeneratin of the Leftoid (PARASITIC) mind.

I remeber from the times when still living under the boot anf the whip of a communo-fascism that the bigger screw-up the more respected would be the Communist party Member in the eyes of the commies.

It was the time when the NEGATIVE SELECTION rulled. It was a political loyalty and not the professionalism or honesty that were decisive during the proces of promotion.

Observing how Obama (and to the sake degree Rudd) is sellecting his cronies, it becomes obvious that the DEMON is applying the same mehtods as the commies did.

  12. Another Aussie here who is about to vomit over such a statement!! KRUDD humble? hahahahahaha

He is right to say that they are alike because KRUDD has been spending like there is no tomorrow.

When KRUDD became Prime Minister the Australian budget was in surplus and the economy was going smoothly. Thanks to KRUDD’s “stimulus” package the budget is now in deficit and getting worse. Billions have been wasted on green programs like the insulation scandal and money thrown at schools.

How many know that here in Australia the insulation project has been such a resounding success that there have been several house fires and several deaths, including that of an apprentice who was electrocuted? It was a poorly thought out program.

So far we have been save from crap and tax but that was only due to Tony Abbott becoming leader of the Opposition. Up until then the leader of the Opposition was on the same side as the stupid greenies pushing for something that will do nothing to reduce so called carbon emissions.

Where I live, I am close to a wind farm – it is not that close thank God, but it is in my region. It is an eyesore, a blot on the countryside… and it is not going to do a thing to assist with electricity supply!!!

People are being given funds to put panels on their rooftops – for what? It is not going to do much for the grid. It is just a joke. It is a con…..

Now we have KRUDD making a power grab for the state owned public hospitals. As if having the Feds over here is going to make all that much difference in the running of the hospitals and the paying of the bills. It is truly nothing more than a power grab because both state and federal governments have been starving these hospitals of necessary budget funds for years!! If the taxes collected as a levy directly associated with hospitals were allocated correctly and money paid in a timely fashion, then we would not have the crisis in the first place!! But that is what happens when the ##### govt has a partial takeover of healthcare in the first place!! They already dictate how much doctors etc. will get paid with their crappy scheduled fees…. which means in the end we cannot get various services…..

I should point out that KRUDD has used similar methods of deceit in elections. He pitched himself as a centrist but he is in fact a Communist.

  13. I loathe Obozo as much as anyone, but please look again at what he actually said. He specifically said they share: 1. a worldview; 2. pragmatism.

It’s a stretch to say that he’s claiming the “smart and humble” description for himself just because it immediately follows the sentence where he says they share a worldview, and because another comparison follows somewhat later.

This just gives the leftards a reason to say that GP is making things up–and in this case it might be a fair accusation. Maybe Obozo does think of himself as “humble,” but he doesn’t say it here, or even imply it.

  14. Aussie #12, thanks for the info from Down Under.

  15. “Always your ‘umble servant, Master Copperfield! Not humble, sir, but ‘umble.”
Yes, and we know what happened to Uriah Heep, don’t we? I hope likewise someday with this “Mr Sheen”* of Australian politics. Behind the cheesy smile is a leopard’s bared teeth. If my American friends only knew of the open scandals involving this creep’s venomous, bullying behaviour behind the scenes – to airline stewardesses, to his own staff, to anyone who crosses him.
Rudd came into power on a wave of enthusiasm, but has failed to deliver. He has done an Obama on so many things, including a stimulus package last year, proportionally the same as Obama’s (for a much smaller population), and it has proved to be a total waste, indeed worse. Furthermore, one part of it has been the now notorious home insulation package, ostensibly a measure against the bogus fear of global warming. The end result has been the carte blanche to shonky operators, with no experience, who put in poor quality batts, laid them in a wholly inappropriate way, and ripped off the govt in the process. Result: house fires galore, attributable directly to the bad installation; four (or I think now six) people now dead, and tens of thousands of homes rendered unsafe.
“Rush, rush, Rudd” one commentator has branded him.
And then there are the many, many overseas trips, just to hob-nob with world leaders and kid himself that he’s a major player, when he’s merely an international clown. John Howard, his predecessor, worked hard and long to gain such a recognition, which only came in his later years. Rudd thinks he can just move in and take up such a mantle straight away. He’s fooling no-one but himself.
The shine has come off him completely, and the sooner he departs the better for us all.

    * ‘Mr Sheen’ is the name of a furniture polish long sold here, and in the TV commercials the Mr Sheen figure, who would after a little jingle disappear into the can, has an uncanny similarity to Rudd.

  16. The Aussies don’t like Rudd very much anymore. In fact, all the Aussies I know are pretty pissed off at this guy.

    He’s a joke.

And Barry Boy, if you were really humble, you wouldn’t be pretending to be smart and praise yourself with it.

I see many similarities between Rudd, Obama and Hatoyama.

All three are hopey changey types.

    All three are tanking.

    Coincidence?

    Nope.

  18. Yessiree indeedy doody, if there’s one thing that I’m the most proud about, it would be my humility.

    Yup.

Humility is in short supply here in Washington, but I’ve made sure that my own is way up there. I’m always striving to be the most humble possible and not ashamed to be sure that everyone knows it.

I hate to brag, but if it’s the truth, then it ain’t braggin’, right?

I mean, about being humble and all….

    Right?

    Hello, anyone there?

    *crickets*

  19. I think the idea of this article (for those who can’t see) is the fact that: 1. Obama is making any positive characterization of himself. 2. That he would even use the word ‘humble’ about himself. 3. That he is speaking about himself….AGAIN! He cannot talk about any issue without talking about himself and/or patting himself on the back. That is the vomit-inducing factor here.

    “I am humble….I am great….I am pragmatic….I am great…. I am smart…..I am _____. He/she is _____, but I am _____. Solid B+.”

“Tea Partiers should be thanking ME….They amuse ME…..”

    GAG, PUKE.

  20. Kevin Dudddd is the biggest idiot Prime Minister Australia has had in AGES. He has bumbled his way around with the stimulus–foiled ceiling insulation that has killed 4 inexperienced installers so far, major rorting by builders for school renovations, etc. He cannot keep staff and is a total slave driver. He has a blowup on an airforce plane because they hadn’t packed the meal he requested;similarly in Afghanistan, his hair was mussed upfor a photo shoot and there was no hairdryer –he exploded. He also lied about his childhood. The only thing he and Obamao/Maobama have in common are their hugely inflated egos, their leftie agenda and their penchant for lying. We are sick of him.

  21. True to form: from your $12 trillion Three Card Monty Shill-in-Chief . . . NARCISSIST jerk.

  22. “Umm…

He did say those words. Not in that order, and not with that meaning.

Aren’t there enough real things with which to hammer this worthless President without fabricating things?”

    Exactly – it’s misleading.

  23. LOL! Obamao’s neither smart nor humble, but he’s not smart enough to know that or humble enough to keep quiet about what he doesn’t know. Oh, the layers and layers of irony and dishonesty are killing me.

    April 16th, 2010 | 12:03 am | #13

Radegunda, we don’t care what the libtarded lefturds say about GP or any of us here. They’ve been lying about, marginalizing, ridiculing, insulting – basically “Alinsying” – conservatives for – well, since the second or third year of GWB’s first term. It used to bother us so we were careful in selecting our words and when that didn’t work and we faced libtarded attacks anyway, we tried to defend ourselves. Then we learned about Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. And now we don’t care what they say to or about us. Nothing they say matters to us because they don’t matter to us. Let ‘em talk; they will anyway.

  25. Everybody’s doin’ it, doin’ it,
pickin’ their ear and chewin’ it, chewin’ it…

BO: “I think he’s constantly thinking in practical terms about how to get something done.”

Like getting rid of that pesky earwax.

  26. Auntie Madder, my point is that it really doesn’t help our side to make statements that do not conform to the evidence. Consider how we’ve been taunting the lefties to PROVE there were an racist slurs against legislators on the Capitol steps. If we’re telling them they can’t just say that something happened when there’s an absence of evidence, and then simultaneously say that Obozo said something when the transcript shows that he didn’t, how exactly does that help us win any arguments?

You can’t take the high ground OR win an argument when the evidence does not support you. There are plenty of arguments to use against the Dem-left that are actually TRUE. Why resort to something that evidently is not true?

  27. MSNBC space reporter: No NASA workers allowed at Obama’s speech yesterday

    http://hotair.com/archives/2010/04/16/msnbc-space-reporter-no-nasa-workers-allowed-at-obamas-speech-yesterday/

  28. Come on! Don’t play like this. Obama did not say those words in that order. The conservative movement is too important to take a cheap dig. Obama is a nightmare and this good country will prevail against him. Let’s be upfront and honest! ALWAYS.

    Thanks for letting me post.
